It's a home town favorite and when we all get together someone always wants the US Steel. I wish I could still eat these sandwiches because not only did it look good I heard every smack when my family took a bite. The customer service at this location was good. We kept adding on to our order and ensuring we had everything right. I opted for the fish sandwich and I didn't tell them about my food allergy so that's on me. I made the best of my sandwich by removing the bun and hoping for the best. Thank goodness I didn't have any issues because I was starving. Overall this will always be a favorite. Man, I really enjoy the food at Lincoln's Carryout in Hobart, Indiana. I thought that I try something different today. So I ordered the Harrison Street steak sandwich. This sandwich is so good. It is the most tender and succulent ribeye steak that I have had ever. And on the sandwich, there is grilled onions, mushrooms, and green peppers in like a gravy. I like to eat my food hot so therefore, I placed my order in eight in the restaurant. You walk up the counter and place your order, you pay when you get your order. This place seems more like a deli. The people who work here our very pleasant to deal with when ordering. Besides sandwiches, the also offer side dishes and pie slices. Since I only order the same thing every visit (Italian subs) so I can't comment on the other sandwiches. But the subs are very good. Pictured here is their best seller and most famous sandwich called The Steelworker, a sub stuffed with grilled roast beef with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and topped with american cheese. My wife and I both had a sandwich with thinly sliced ribeye on it. I don't know what the meat was on the sandwich, but it was not thinly sliced ribeye. It seem more like a hamburger patty.
