Not only did Aaron rush me but he needs to cut his nails. He accidentally scratched my finger taking my card. I had to ask for time so many times he kept trying to rush me I let him know there was no line so it's coo he gettin paid to chill for a sec and he kept interrupting me asking my partner all the questions before I order bc IM THE ONE WHO HAS TO ANSWER unless you want people yelling from the other side of the car. Wanted to try the new Chicken Empanadas, so we stopped by for lunch and ordered a couple of those, some tacos, a couple of the Cheesy Double Beef Burritos (which is my go-to), and the Loaded Beef Nachos. Everything was good and satisfying. I liked the crispiness of the Chicken Empanadas. And they actually gave me enough packets of fire sauce. I always ask for extra, since I like to put a lot of it on my food, and I'm not always given enough.

    Don't get it! Tiny portion

I'm not complaining about the service, the employees are always kinda and lovely I ordered the cheese it tostada today for the first time It's 4.49$ and it's tiny!!! Like toddler portion tiny Huge waste of money! Don't buy it.

    Cheap & skimpy on ingredients.

Honestly, this is the most disappointing taco bell I've ever been to. They majorly skimp on ingredients. I ordered a Mexican pizza yesterday & the toppings/meat/beans were so skimpy you couldn't even taste them. Same for the crunchwrap I ordered. The tortillas were overcooked in the pizza too, so that's all i could taste. I posted my experience in an Issaqah Facebook group & they all said the same thing - you need to use more food in the items. I won't be back. Such a waste after sitting empty so long.

NACHO CHEESE DORITOS® LOCOS TACOS SUPREME

I had Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos tacos supreme which was pretty good. I had Taco Bell years ago in San Diego and I remember the price much lower. I added extra meat because I remember the meat always being skimpy in past, and more cheese, and sour cream. The plus is they put the hard taco in a cardboard sleeve. Years ago, I remember like an envelope. The vehicle was good to help not losing your whole taco. The meat did not look meat and was hard to identify. Taco Bell is substantially better.

There is also Costco, Uniqlo, and target nearby if you need to run errands. Family run and the tacos are 5+ each but come with two tortillas because of the amount of filling. I would still give it a 5/5 even though some of the meat options are a bit on the drier side for my pet fence because the poblano one is so good. The zucchini corn one had nice smokiness. This is coming from someone who prefers meat usually. The steak was good. The chicharron is good but if you are expecting crunchy this is not. It's cooked in a nice sauce that is spicy but not too much though my spice tolerance is not low. 3 is good for one person. 4 if super hungry. Great option after any of the local hikes.

We came at around noon when they opened and they already had several people waiting on benches outside the truck for their orders. Xochi is a food truck in Gilman Village (Old Issaquah), located near the Brown Bear car wash. It's been on my bucket list for a while as it was listed as in the top Yelp 100 taco places nationally in 2022 and 2023 and also featured in the Seattle Times a few years back. Xochi offers five different meat taco options: - Encebollados (steak & sauteed onions) - Tinga (chicken in a chipotle sauce) - Cochinita Pibil (pork in an achiote sauce) - Chorizo (pork sausage & potatoes) - Chicharron (pork rinds in a spicy tomato sauce) They also serve five different veggie taco options: - Calabazas (zucchini, corn & tomato) - Papas (potatoes) - Broccoli (broccoli & garlic) - Bruselas (brussel sprouts, carrots, & garlic) - Rajas (poblano peppers in a sour cream sauce) My coworker and I tried the ENCEBOLLADOS, TINGA, & COCHINITA PIBIL. She also ordered a CHICHARRON, but I'm not a big fan of pork rinds or fried food and so I passed on that one. Each taco (regardless of meat or veggie) is $5.48 and comes in a double corn 5 inch tortilla. Note that you can only buy single tacos here; they no longer do taco plates as previous photos of the menu have shown. They also charge $0.50 for extra salsa; we ordered one EXTRA SPICY SALSA on the side to share and just to try. The total for 7 tacos and salsa came to around $50 with tax plus tip. The ENCEBOLLADOS were our favorite. The steak was perfectly cooked and the verde-like sauce they put it on it was amazing! It was zesty, a little spicy, and gave the taco lots of flavor and oomph. 10/10 would recommend and get this again. THE TINGA had a nice smoky flavor and the chicken was also nice and moist. It came with a cotija and sour cream topping and went great with the EXTRA SPICY SALSA that we had on the side (which was definitely spicy but not overwhelming spicy). The COCHINITA PIBIIL (which is normally my favorite and go-to order at El Camion) was our least favorite of the bunch as the pork was slightly dry and my friend found it slightly overly salty. It came with pickled onion on the top and was slightly vinegary and mostly savory. Lastly, the CHICHARRON (which I didn't try, but my friend did) was tasty and had strong tomato flavors, but she regrets not eating that one first as the fried pork rind quickly get soggy in the tomato sauce. As far as seating, they have three outdoor tables and a few benches. No seat covering or outdoor heaters though and so you will have to take your tacos to go in the fall and winter. They have a good health rating which is also always reassuring when eating out. Service was quick and we got our food within 10 minutes after ordering. Note that you bus your own table, but they keep the tables pretty clean. Watch out for the yellow jackets in the summer though! So where does Xochi stack in comparison to other taco places I've tried? I would say it's within the top three picks for sure as they are generous with the taco meat and the tacos are very well seasoned and flavored. I think my favorite taco is still the Cochinita Pibil taco from El Camion, but these tacos beat out Pacos Tacos and La Chingona in my opinion, so maybe second on the list for best taco in the Seattle area? With that said, it's definitely the best taco I've had in Issaquah and the Eastside and I can't wait to be back for more Encebollados! Overall: 4/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 4/5 for atmosphere.

We were able to substitute adobado (marinated pork) for the Carne Asada Fries. The fries were crunchy and the meat was flavorful. The only issue was the guacamole as it seemed to be mixed with something. The price for the size of the plate seemed excessive. The tacos were bought individually ($4 each) we got Pollo, Carnitas, Adobado & Asada. The only negative was the pollo (chicken) as it had no flavor. Both dishes were served with cabbage instead of lettuce which was different but not negative. The gentlemen in the truck were willing to change out anything and very helpful. They were also updating labels on their pictures when we were there to help ppl know what their menu items are. They offered 3 sauces, red, green and a cilantro base. I would recommend them, and if in the area again, would try their tortas.

Our waitress (who did not give her name) was not very friendly or attentive. She even interrupted and skipped my family member as they were beginning to order and asked someone else for their order next. It made no sense and was strange. On top of that she just kind of gave a "I don't want to be here and I'm annoyed" vibe. After we got our bill we noticed that some of the charges were incorrect. A kids meal order was rung up wrong, charging extra money for meat even though it was included, and a kids drink was charged as an adult. We kindly tried to explain that she charged us incorrectly and if she could please fix it. She started explaining that we had ordered the kids burrito not taco, even though we definitely ordered, she definitely inputted, and we were most certainly delivered a kids taco. She then said that we needed to clearly specify that it was a kids lemonade even though it was clearly implied that the lemonade was for a child. I guess that's on us cause we didn't say "kids lemonade"? Like come on... She was not kind or helpful about the issue at all and refused to fix the bill. We left frustrated and discouraged to go back. Be ware of the bad service if you're looking to dine in.

Microwave food we just spent $146 on. It was a fast cook and fast delivery - ordered at 5:05pm and delivered at 5:30pm (we live close and I watched the driver come straight to us). It should have at least been lukewarm, so I'm not sure what happened there. Worst part is, when I called and spoke with the manager on duty to ask about the missing item and mention the cold food, she was defensive and flippant, placing blame on the driver immediately while simultaneously talking down to me (re: the cold food), 'well that happens with delivery. We have no control over the driver'. As if I've never had food delivered. She said to take up the charge for the missing item with Uber Eats - 'That's how it works. There's nothing we can do'. We've eaten here dozens of times -- easily -- and have never left disappointed. The carne asada is consistently fantastic, and their more traditional dishes are just as solid. Service is reliably friendly, efficient, and refreshingly genuine -- the kind of staff that actually seems to enjoy being there. The one miss? The margaritas. I've worked my way through every flavor, and unfortunately the base tastes suspiciously like Safeway syrup. For a place that does food this well, the cocktails feel like an afterthought. They do have a beautiful patio that's perfect when the weather cooperates, and if you're a nacho-and-cocktail type (same), I strongly recommend ordering a mojito with fresh fruit. Be sure to ask for muddled fruit slices -- otherwise you'll likely get syrup again. It honestly takes just a few cubes of real fruit to completely elevate the drink, and at these prices, it feels like an obvious upgrade management should consider standard-which is why I docked them one star.

The burger is thick and really juicy, great bun and aioli. The fries are perfectly crispy. The pizza had a really great, I'm assuming wood-fired, crust. While they boast about their craft beer offerings, they have a great cocktail list as well, and I love that they have a specific whiskey cocktail section as well, with a few that are less common at some bars. The Brooklyn is probably my favorite, but you can't really go wrong. Also, a fellow patron asked for a Toronto and the bartender was happy to look it up and make it for him. And what about the atmosphere here?! It's so wonderful in summer! With its narrow design giving a sense that an entire wall opens to the outside and the patio that extends beyond, it feels Ike you are vacationing somewhere tropical and beachy. This somehow combines really well with the industrial vibe of the interior. They also have some TV's for sports. The service is very friendly, attentive, interactive, and helpful. One thing that was consistent across my three visits, however, was the feeling that the place is always understaffed, so things tend to move slowly. I'm not sure this is the case, it's just the feel you get when it happens the times you visit. This is a bit of a double-edged sword though, since it's such an easy place to just want to sip and nibble slowly while delving into conversation.
