We were in Issaquah for Salmon days, walking around all the stalls we saw this restaurant and decided to check it out. Typical Mexican restaurant with Mexican decor and busy with most tables occupied. Clean bathroom and nice bar area . Gentlemen brought the chips and salsa and water as soon as we were seated. Salsa was so flavorful and fresh chips. We got the tres salsa and all of them were so good . Our margaritas were strong and delicious. I ordered an enchiladas and chile relenos combo.they have big helpings I am so full from my lunch.

Another great restaurant in Front street. Plenty of seating area. Although we sat outside; the inside decors are really cool. The staffs were super nice ad well. What we got: Camarones al diabla 4/5 Its a great dish overall; but i wish it was more spicy. But flavors were all there. Carne asada plate 4/5 Really great plate and big portion. The meat were nicely seasoned. Salsa 5/5 The salsa were really really good; we could eat them all day with the complementary tortilla chips. Original margarita 5/5 Wife really love it and will get it again for sure. We also ask for a side of roasted jalapenos which are sooo goooddd. Overall Its a good restaurant to go too; they are a bit pricey but the foods are good.

Decided to go for lunch here. Service was great. The food ended up just okay. Had the shredded beef enchiladas. Unfortunately the meat was way too greasy for me. Was hoping for a better outcome. Might come back and try something else. The prices seemed to be a bit higher than I expected for lunch and the amount of food, but that might be because of the area and relative costs.

Over fried small shell ... no cheese on a taco salad?

We ordered taco salads. The shells were very small. No tomatoes or cheese. Very little lettuce. Half filled with soupy refried beans. We asked for ranch dressing... never received any. We asked for our soupy salad to be removed and to reorder... he never asked what we would rather have but took it upon himself to remake the same slop. However , this time the shell was burned from deep frying. Needless to say I never ate dinner. Nor did the waiter return to find out how our food was. He did return with our bill to which I got up and left . This place used to be great. What happened?

Going downhill... food is the about same (decent but not spectacular, good portions), but the prices are high and the service has really slipped. If you want more than one beverage, ask before your food arrives because they aren't coming back (until it's time to present the "pay and tip" screen, at which time our waiter really seemed fond of us again). This is a pet peeve of mine. I've adapted to irritatingly high prices, I tolerate ridiculous "want to tip 30%" prompts at checkout, but you can't abandon guests after dropping off the food. This was our beloved date night restaurant, but last night we decided we don't think $70 for lunch (with one drink) is worth being ignored.

The best Mexican restaurant in downtown Issaquah. Always friendly & quick! Love that they make vegan accommodations! Really love their garden burrito with verde sauce. Excellent unlimited chips & salsa. Lots of tables, good for large groups & parties. Parking on the street or in the back.

Such a cute Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown Issaquah. Our waiter was wonderful and very friendly. My daughter and I shared the cheese dip and a seafood chimichanga. Plenty of food for two! And, of course I had to have a margarita. We will definitely return.

A bit pricey, but definitely yummy. Chips and salsa free which is a plus. So many margaritas to choose from. The Cadillac is my favorite. I had the small combo, lol, which left me with leftovers. The chile relleno here is loaded in a nice egg situation. It was almost an omelette. Very good. I had pork in my crunchy taco which was tender and delicious. Covered in lettuce and a handful of cheese. Generous rice and beans made for a meal. Super friendly service and great vibes. Definitely a traditional Mexican style restaurant. Lots of parking around this part of Issaquah. A great spot to have a celebratory lunch. Which was exactly what I did. Cheers. SYOP!

Service and food were excellent. We went during lunch so it was less busy. Excited to go back and try other items! Authentic Mexican food. IYKYK

That's all the Carne you got for the whole entree now?

If you happen to be in the area (Costco, REI, and Trader Joe's are practically neighbors) and…read moresuddenly develop an urgent need for legitimately excellent nachos, this is your spot. We've eaten here dozens of times -- easily -- and have never left disappointed. The carne asada is consistently fantastic, and their more traditional dishes are just as solid. Service is reliably friendly, efficient, and refreshingly genuine -- the kind of staff that actually seems to enjoy being there. The one miss? The margaritas. I've worked my way through every flavor, and unfortunately the base tastes suspiciously like Safeway syrup. For a place that does food this well, the cocktails feel like an afterthought. They do have a beautiful patio that's perfect when the weather cooperates, and if you're a nacho-and-cocktail type (same), I strongly recommend ordering a mojito with fresh fruit. Be sure to ask for muddled fruit slices -- otherwise you'll likely get syrup again. It honestly takes just a few cubes of real fruit to completely elevate the drink, and at these prices, it feels like an obvious upgrade management should consider standard-which is why I docked them one star.

Microwave food we just spent $146 on. It was a fast cook and fast delivery - ordered at 5:05pm and delivered at 5:30pm (we live close and I watched the driver come straight to us). It should have at least been lukewarm, so I'm not sure what happened there. Worst part is, when I called and spoke with the manager on duty to ask about the missing item and mention the cold food, she was defensive and flippant, placing blame on the driver immediately while simultaneously talking down to me (re: the cold food), 'well that happens with delivery. We have no control over the driver'. As if I've never had food delivered. She said to take up the charge for the missing item with Uber Eats - 'That's how it works. There's nothing we can do'. Not even a sincere apology for the undelivered item- Masa's mistake. We have frequented Masa since they opened, with mostly good experiences, but I think we're done. There's just no excuse to be rude and dismissive to your paying customers. A little decorum could have gone a long way. 2 stars for the two out of six items that arrived as expected.

Hands down best tacos in the Seattle area! Super flavorful, authentic, and just as good (if not…read morebetter!) than tacos I've gotten in California. I always get one of each of their veggie tacos and my partner gets a mix of meat and veggie. They have both regular spicy and extra spicy (my favorite) options. Everything is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend trying this place out!

The line had about 6 people when we arrived…read more The menu is limited with some meat and vegetarian options, which I find to be a good thing because they know what they're good at. Small parking lot shared with Benjamin Moore Paint I think and a small coffee shop. There is some benches for seating and a couple picnic tables. I had two tacos (chicharron & encebollados) and found it filling where I didn't feel overstuffed. The tortilla's are like dinner size (not street taco size) and doubled up. The amount of protein they put into it is literally PERFECT. They don't overfill but it's definitely enough, and the way they place the portions, it doesn't overflow or spill out. Minimal mess to clean up afterwards. I thought the chicharron pork rinds would be crispy, but it wasn't as there was a chile sauce on top. I still enjoyed it and found it flavorful, even though the texture had changed. CK let me try the cochinita pibil and it was flavorful, and more of my preference. My favorite had to be the encebollados (steak w/ sauteed onions). Flavorful, sliced in good portions, and wasn't dry it at all since there was a good amount of sauce on there. Next time I'd love to try the Rajas (poblano peppers)!
