I've gotten food poisoning the last 3 times I've eaten here, and the bathrooms are always disgusting. I don't recommend it.

Wow! Seriously The. Slowest. Ever! I've been to this location every time I visit Morro Bay. (About 3 or 4 times a year.)Don't even know why I still go there. (I guess because it's right across the street from our hotel and ball field.) It doesn't matter if you use the drive thru or go inside. You WILL wait a long time. It doesn't matter what you order. You WILL wait a long time. (Just today I ran inside to get my baby boy a side of beans and waited at least 25 minutes.) I don't know what the problem is. We waited for about twenty minutes for our order AND they missed an item and when I came back in to let them know I was still put behind all the orders and had to wait another twenty minutes for a SINGLE item that THEY FORGOT. All the while I kept seeing one of the employees stop by the register to text on her phone. Great job guys, seriously. Star service right here. read more

Holy cow such disrespectful service. Was in the drive thru line for a half hour, only three cars in front of me. Could see the employee wearing the drive thru headgear inside talking to a couple of guys, for about ten minutes. When I finally made it to the window, waited ten minutes before they opened it. Can I give them zero stars? Fast food? I don't think so. Two customers inside restaurant already with food and I was #5 in drive thru line. It took 30 minutes to get food which is ridiculous. On occasion I drive through Morro Bay for a work trip and now I always make it a point to grab some quick food here. The drive-thru staff is always so friendly and I have never been told thank you (with sincerity) so many times.. The best part is I can tell they care about my food in the way it's made. I never get some gross tortilla that's hard in the corners or anything dry and old like other Taco Bells have served to me before. Just recently I went and asked for my burrito to be made differently with some lava sauce and the cook came to the window asked me specifically how I would like it placed in the tortilla (when he could've just not cared and thrown it in there like I'm sure most would) It was a delicious burrito. So for those of you locals; just know that you've got a good place here compared to what gets served in other cities in CA. So I am forever loyal to stopping here on the rare occasion I drive by. When you care about what your doing it makes the world of a difference in the end result; even though it's just burritos and tacos.. I can tell they care here about their service. read more

Yesterday I stopped by to get my grandson something after school before he went to help a family unpack a U-Haul. It was 3:36 PM. I was told $5.80. We ordered 2 Doritos tacos and a large Lemonade. Then we waited, waited, waited and waited. Honestly how long does it take to heat up the tacos? I saw people walking back in with food unwrapped. I knew that wasn't a good sign. Finally we got up to the window at 3:51 PM. The cashier told me, "That will be $12 and change". I said no that is not what I was told. The he said that was how much 2 combos were. I said we did not get 2 combos. We got 2 Dorito tacos and a large Lemonade. I told him we should get our order for FREE for how long we had to wait. He gave us the right drink and just handed us a bag. After the long wait we had to rush to get to the next commitment. My grandson open the bag, locale and behold it was the wrong order! He go a taco and a burrito instead of what he ordered. Really? Maybe you need some more supervision in this Taco Bell. Or some new managers... Well I will be repeating my story to All my friends. This is THE WORST Taco Bell EVER. Every time I go here, the lettuce tastes like chemicals! Not only is the food very poor, but the employees are absolute morons. I paid for my meal, and I wanted to pay for the person behind me. I gave the man a 20 , and he gave me a dollar and some change back (the total was only $3 and some change. I told him he gave me the wrong change, and he proceeded to argue and tell me I was wrong. So I paid $20 for a $3 meal because this kid doesn't know how to count his money. Everyone here looks like they're on drugs. The service is SLOW and AWFUL. The employees are always extremely rude, and look like they could all use a shower. Gross! I would have done the Taco Bell online survey, but they don't give receipts, nor do they even ask if you want your receipt! This place definitely needs an entirely new crew. I do not understand how they haven't gotten shut down by the health board. Dirty people making food, not to mention the place is always a pig sty in and out of the restaurant. You're better off driving down the highway and getting McDonald's or Burger King. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

so first things first, i'm going to point out the fact i'm a vegetarian, so i don't eat meat, and i don't eat anything that has had a piece of meat on it, at all. the last time i went to taco bell, i ordered two potato tacos, because it's a great vegetarian option. after i got done eat the first one, i unwrapped the second one, and was about to take a bite of it, when i noticed there was a piece of meat on it. so after seeing that, i had to give it to one of my friends because i couldn't eat it. today i went there, because it was almost lunch time and i'm at the highschool that's right by this taco bell. i walk over there with one of the teachers, and i ordered, 3 potato tacos (1$ each) and then i ordered the nachos off the 1$ craving menu. now note, i had to repeat myself a total of 3 times, that i wanted the nachos off the 1$ CRAVING menu. so that would be a total of roughly 4$ and some change, but i got charged 6.78$ and i was confused. as it turns out, the cashier charged me for a nacho supreme, which is two dollars and some change more than what i ordered. i'm severely disappointed in taco bell, and i will no longer be coming to this one. read more

i was optimistic that the new taco bell would be better than the one that was there before.. since everyone knows the morro bay taco bell was the worst one in the county but nope. the very first time going to the new one, two of our items were left out(my items of course), and it was just crap as usual. they don't put enough in the burritos to actually FILL the burritos so you end up eating a bunch of tortilla with old beans. my advice to anyone who wants to stop and get a cheap meal at this taco bell is stick with simple and don't get anything with beans...so the classic taco is usually the best choice..its hard to fuck up shell, meat, cheese lettuce. read more

My complaint is ownership. I've been eating for years. Many times a week, bad I know. And I've watched things go great and then 2 months ago many old management and leaders left. All the new in charge people are horrid. On their phones. 2 people working, line out the door and the supervisors refuse to help. Atleast clean the dining room. 3 months ago I'd say 5 stars easy. Now... 1. If and Corp people at TB see this. Send your rep NOW! They need a visit and a revamp asap. Your losing a huge customer base, and some loyal ones. Good luck. OMGosh-- what was the problem?!?! We were three cars from ordering in the drive thru when the car in front of wanted to back out-- we backed up and let them out then we found out why. In the next 10 minutes not a single car moved. I got on Google to find a number to call into the restaurant-- but there was no answer. 10 more minutes to the window-- and the car before us just drove past the pick up window without stopping --I think because they were mad. The girl at the window asked us for the wrong amount-- and we explained the car before us left-- and they finally figured out we were the next order and took the other order away. Back came a different bag-- some discussion by staff-- and it disappeared. FIVE minutes later-- we got our order!! What had they been doing?!?!! It had been 15 minutes since we ordered-- just a few people in the dining room. What was so complicated? I asked the girl at the window if this was usual-- she didn't know-- it was her first day. But the other staff? Surely there was someone that knew how to put together three tacos and a Mexican pizza!! read more

This place is the worst Taco Bell. The sad thing is they do nothing to correct the problems. I have talked with some of the employees and they say the place can't keep employees, after talking to the smart mouthed manager with zero people skills, I can see part of that problem. This evening after working in the yard all day, I was very tired, didn't feel like going out. So hubby went to Taco Bell, the entire order was incorrect. This is not the first time, probably the 20th time. The receipt was correct on what was ordered, the order was terrible. The tacos my husband got had maybe a teaspoon of meat and not much of anything else. My order everything with green sauce, and what I received had all red sauce, plus sour cream when we asked not to have it on the burrito. This is it, the manager said the owner was almost never there, so he or she doesn't care at all about service. Sad because it is a small town. Wait until Sonic moves in, they won't have any business.
