This location has its days. I've stopped in a few times and it seems as if there's always some kind of issue. It's close to one of my work stops and I always use the app, but service sucks. It's never crowed, but it takes forever to be acknowledged. Maybe the online orders are heavy. Who knows!? The food is prepared pretty good though. Even if it's sitting there cooling off while you wait to be greeted or asked if you need help. This day was a little better for me. I got my food in about 5 minutes after walking into an empty store with someone standing at the register and my food on a shelf behind them. Wow. It took 2 more people to enter before someone came from the back and said hello to everyone. Then they couldn't d even place orders because something was wrong with the register/system. I gotta be really hungry to stop in here.

It's Taco Bell. I would die for Taco Bell. That said, there are good locations, and there are bad ones. This one is one of the best. They never ever get my order wrong (and trust me, I go here a lot). They're as fast as possible in this dystopian age where 90% of orders are from mobile apps. They're truly calm in the face of real jerks who don't want to wait a few minutes for tacos. They're open late. This means that they've seen some shit! But in spite of all this, they are always very professional, friendly, and efficient. A few tips! Definitely order ahead here during rush times. There are a TON of mobile orders because this is the main Taco Bell in center city. Make sure to say your name at the counter when you get in, even if a lot of people are waiting. And above all else, get the app and take advantage of their awesome loyalty program. And in case you are looking for THE ultimate customization, I do have you covered. Cheesy bean and rice burrito, add red sauce, add fries. Under $3 and you will thank me later!!

Boo!!! If this restaurant was a show and I was a reviewer like Rotten Tomato then I would give it a -1%. First of all, the service was poor. Only one cashier during a late lunch rush at 1:29PM. It did not help that the customers were kinda "ratchet" and customizing their food so it wasn't even Taco Bell food anymore. They were hanging off the counter tops. It wasn't a pretty site. Come here if you're out late and need food but jeez. Their service was horrible. The food too. It was $7.12 so the city taxes kinda make it a little pricier than non city locations. The food is edible but poor quality. I had a taco and the bottom shell just broke then all my meat fell. GG. To all my none gamer peeps, it means good game and I give up. Don't come here if you don't have to. Ahhh!

Waited 50 min for my mobile order. When I asked them, they said the order got lost. Other mobile orders in store was waiting a long time.

Do NOT use this Taco Bell with GrubHub. They will completely screw up your order and neither party will fix it.

First, we're kind of on an enmolada (chicken mole enchiladas) kick, and have been slowly touring the city ordering it everywhere it's available. We love what we've gotten so far, but most mole sauces have been more on the raisin/chocolate/coffee/lightly sweet side of the spectrum. Taqueria Morales' enmoladas were nutty and complex up front, with a lingering taste of delicious smoke and heat afterward. No joke, it was like the mole equivalent of a nice cognac. Would absolutely come just for this. Myself? I was hankering for al pastor and heard and seen that Taqueria Morales is solid on the al pastor front. Well, I heard and seen rightly, because the meat was well marinated and had an excellent balance of sourness and floral spice in the mix, and came out on what I can only assume are house-made tortillas with a side of radishes and nopales (cactus). Every bite was perfect, and that was before I added on some of the green and red salsas that our chips and guac came with. Finally, the staff was bomb. The lady taking our orders and serving us was super nice and attentive, and the kitchen was FAST. Couldn't have been more than 7 minutes from placing our order and sitting down to getting it out in front of us. It was so good I almost wished we stopped back after the backbreaker of a game to get some comfort tacos. Don't miss this place!

Booths and bar seating is available as well as a patio on weekends. It is located in a sketchy area but a police car is stationed on the corner. I felt as safe as I do in other areas of Philly. Street parking is available within a few feet. The cocktails were very good with many different kinds of margs and other drinks. Beer and wine are also available. We were greeted as soon s we walked in by both the bartender and one of the owners. Our server brought water as soon as we sat down. She was attentive and helpful with explanations. The food here is authentic! Several different kinds of guacamole are available. We chose the one with pomegranate. It added a nice crunch and flavor. One with grasshopper was available. lol that was a no for me! The trio of empanadas were delicious. We shared a carnitas taco platter and branzino platter. The tacos were tasty. The branzino was cooked nicely with good flavor. The rice and beans and Brussels spouts and mushrooms were all delicious. I'll definitely be back!

The meat in the tacos was so dry that it was hard to chew and swallow. Some of the pieces were cooked to a crisp. No amount of salsa could make them better. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the tacos, but trust me me I get no pleasure from leaving a bad review for this place; I am not lying or exaggerating. I thought they were going to be one of our local gems. I choked down a half a taco, gave the rest to my husband and he couldn't eat them either. The churros actually had raw batter in the middle and the outside was rubbery and hard at the same time. You could barely bite through it. I'm a cook and I know that that is about keeping the oil at an even temperature to get the inside done and not overcook the outside. Someone in the kitchen did not know what they were doing. The thing is, I have had their food before and it was pretty good. I don't know if there is a new chef or what happened, but I can't trust them after this experience.

They have a great Taco Tuesday deal with $1 tacos, offering carnitas and chicken tacos as part of the special. The carnitas tacos were seasoned perfectly -- 8/10. The only thing that would elevate them even more would be adding pico. The chicken tacos were a 4/10 unfortunately. They lacked flavor and tasted like plain boiled chicken placed on a tortilla, which was disappointing. We also ordered the Tres Salsa and chips. Out of the three salsas, the green and red were the standouts and packed the most flavor. For drinks, we ordered margaritas on the rocks ($5, plus $2 additional for flavor). I tried mango and passion fruit -- the mango tasted more like orange juice, while the passion fruit maintained its flavor much better. If you're looking for a family-friendly indoor/outdoor spot, this is a great option. I noticed a good mix of couples and singles, which made for a nice atmosphere. Bar seating is limited at night, and outdoor seating closes around 7:00 PM. Overall, for Taco Tuesday, I'd give it a 7/10 -- great atmosphere and deals, but food consistency could use some work.

Also one suggestion: if folks spend a certain amount --maybe over $20 , with the exception of guacamole due to food cost , I would not nickel and dime them over the small sides like a little more pico --food cost on those is low and you're tripping over the proverbial dollar --to pick up a nickel --providing small portions of those items --doesn't really affect your bottom line --and really keeps people coming back .
