Still, I wanted Primo's enough to rent a bike share and pedal from the Art Museum to 11th and Chestnut. I arrive at 8:32, walk past the counter person on a smoke break, and inside I'm greeted by the broom guy. Without even looking up, he barks, "You picking up?" I say, "No, I need to place an order." His answer? "The slicers closed." The slicers. Closed. At 8:32. Thirty minutes before closing time. That's not how closing hours work--that's how excuses work. I would have been there with a neat little order bag waiting for me... if your phone hadn't been given the night off. So instead, we ate burritos. Which were great, by the way. Shout out to Primo's for providing a great catering service to Trader Joe's this week. I haven't had a good hoagie in a while and Primo's was the perfect relapse. I had several small portions of their italian and turkey sandwiches and they tasted delicious. The sesame bread may have been the best part, but the entire sub had an extraordinary amount of flavor and seasoning from the meats and veggies. I'll definitely have to consider going to Primo's again in the future to experience the hoagies in their natural state. As it stands now, I am entirely satisfied. read more

If you can't handle the basic customer service tasks then get a different job cause your ruining business. Two times in a row I ordered the sharp Italian with extra cheese and both times I got ZERO cheese.....I also ordered a full pound of potato salad but only got the half size but was told I have to call during certain hours to get a refund so I kept trying to call yet somehow a "manager" was never there to issue me a refund and it can only be a manager who can do it apparently?? I was talked down to in a very condescending way and this place is NOT inexpensive so to spent $50-60 for a small order of food and it be wrong and the customer service being garbage on top of it while also making it impossible to get a refund for the mistakes made is down right awful. I went into immediate freak out mode because I was in a meeting and now I had to figure out what happened and how I was going to get lunch to this group and quick! I called Primos and they handled everything perfectly. They were friendly and quick in getting a replacement tray out to our team and no one had any idea! I felt like the manager did whatever he could to fix the issue.....AND QUICKLY. Went to pick my order that I had called earlier this evening. Got up to the counter to ask for my order, but was ignored.
