First time at this taco bell and wow! Food was good as any other location. On the other hand, the girl at the window was extremely rude! She stared at us and handed us our drinks in silence. Once we reached out to get our food, she asked "Is there a problem?" Keep in mind, we hadn't said a word since a word wasn't said to us. We awkwardly responded "No?" But it seemed like she wanted there to be one because she just laughed it off and closed the window. We weren't rude at all, we simply didn't speak, since we weren't spoken to so I don't think our behavior granted us the response she gave. This happened on 5/23/26 around 1pm. read more

I grew up when Taco Bell was a special treat (child of 80's!). Growing up in the Midwest we did not have even remotely spicy food so this was exciting stuff. We would also visit an iconic location in California whenever we visited my Grandma. Such good memories. So there is always a soft spot in my heart for Taco Bell. I know they've been bought out by a multinational conglomerate, the Bell brother founders are nowhere to be found...the enchirito, taco salad, mexi-melt disappeared...but....nonetheless every few months the craving hits. And the Mexi-Melt has returned! This summer, with triple digit days and the endless loop of bar exam prep my kitchen was not my favorite place and I somehow found myself craving the childhood comfort of a Taco Supreme. I ordered a couple on the app at this location several times and had some DoorDash orders when I couldn't move (except to get my delivered food at the door!). This Taco Bell delivered solidly on the classics with no skimping on lettuce or tomatoes, a personal pet peeve. The tacos were put together neatly. And I even ordered a lookalike mexi melt with a few add ins (pico and onion/cilantro). Food is about memories and taste imprints, connections and comfort. It's not "just food." This Taco Bell brought back taste memories and some enjoyable meals, I appreciate it! read more

Horrible I got a pick up order and the fries were all hard and cold and the burrito wasn't even filled with anything but mostly sour cream.

Cleanliness seems to have dropped off considerably. It can be a challenge to find a clean table now. It always seems like the place needs to be swept and the tables wiped down. I've also noticed problems where the drinks are out of syrup. Maybe it's just bad luck, but 3 of my last 5 trips it's been an issue. read more

Today I was reminded why I go to the Taco Bell on broadway even though this location is 1 mile from my house. The Taco shells are ALWAYS stale!!! The taco meat is ALWAYS room temperature at best. Came to this Taco Bell for 4 nacho dorito tacos and 2 supposedly double steak burritos $28.43. Well first off the tacos are really good, something about that dorito shell just does it! Good job. Now the burritos....total flop don't waste your money ($7.something) it's mostly rice and cheese! What meat that is in it is so chopped up it might as well have been chewed for you. Went on a late afternoon during the weekend. Decent amount of open spaces in their parking lot. They have a hand sanitizer dispenser near the entrance, but it was empty. Clean interior and plenty of seating. I ordered to-go on one of their two kiosks, which was in working condition. I ordered the nacho fries that came back to the menu, the steak white hot ranch fries, and a few burritos. I included some sauce packets in the order, but there weren't any in the bag. Not a big deal for me to grab them myself since I needed to get some forks anyway. Though if they aren't going to put sauce packets in kiosk orders, they shouldn't allow them to be selected when ordering. They didn't put any napkins in the bag either, so I had to get those too. Always check your order before you leave! The nacho fries were good as usual. It's best if you eat them right away for maximum crispiness. The drive back home was only a few minutes, but by the time I returned, the fries were just warm and those in the bottom of the box were soft. The nacho cheese dip and burritos were still hot though. The steak white hot ranch fries were room temperature. The fries weren't crispy since they took in moisture from the sauces. At most, I would say the hot ranch sauce is in the mild to medium range. The spice lingers so I definitely recommend having a drink to wash it down. read more

8/17/23 As I pulled up to the window it hit 2 and the lady offered me the option to add a happy hour freeze before I paid. I ordered Taco Bell tonight that was delivered by DoorDash. The delivery driver didn't bring my drinks, and when I went to retrieve my phone to show him I had ordered it he ran away like a dog with his tail between his legs. I waited a half an hour to see if he went back to retrieve my drinks which of course he didn't. My grandson and I loaded up in the car in the horrible weather and proceeded to Taco Bell on Freeport Boulevard. When I got to the drive-through Hope the Taco Bell employee at the window knew immediately what I was talking about. She had told the DoorDash delivery man to wait a minute she was getting the drinks and he said there were no drinks. Hope Proceeded to fill my drink order and the manager came and asked what had happened. He gave me quite a few certificates for free food and even replaced the burrito supreme that the dog ate when my grandson got up from the table . The employees at this Taco Bell are absolutely delightful. The food was really good too! I highly recommend this establishment much more so than other local Taco Bell's! But after driving down the crowded highway, I realized the cinnamon dessert error and called to get a $1.00+ refund to my card for the missing food, which I was told was impossible. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by this Taco Bell for a quick bite to eat. Either Jamal or Davis (we are not sure because the worker who picked up my call could not figure out which worker was where doing what) "helped" us at the drive thru and was extremely rude. We asked for a standard My Cravings Box with the cheesy gordita crunch which should only come out to around $7. The worker charged us for a Deluxe Box which is twice the price and did not even think to ask us what kind of box we wanted or what we wanted in it. My boyfriend and I ended up paying for it anyway because we did not want to deal with Jamal or Davis' attitude.
