This is my favorite Taco Bell, it's down the street from my house, and the crew is awesome, In the 4 years I've been going to this Taco Bell I've had my order messed up like 5 times but every time they were really polite and fixed the issue and normally gave me something extra for the inconvenience! This location is nice since it went through their remodeling I come here way more often that I used to. They do have occasional foo-pa's like one day I went through drive thru and they were out of beef! Out of BEEF really how the &*%$ does that happen!?! So we left. This location is the worst. They have all of this advertising for breakfast and have for months now but they only serve it if they feel like it. This is the second time I've gone specifically for breakfast and been told they don't have it. Today they told me they didn't have eggs. When I got to the window I asked when they would be getting more and they said they have it but breakfast is going to be ending soon (1hour) and it takes 30 minutes to make the eggs. So poor planning is the reason I guess. Very frustrating. Do not advertise breakfast if you don't plan on serving it. Aside from this experience I have many more poor experiences. This is the T-Bell my friends and I lovingly refer to as "The Dance Club Taco Bell." With their recent remodel, they have upscaled to a snazzy interior with lots of tables and booths. Plus, the many neon signs in the windows add to the club aesthetic. It is consistently clean and no one minds if you take your time at a table because there is plenty of space. On top of the nice interior, the staff is friendly and patient as you count out your bill in gold dollar-coins. I've been to this particular Taco Bell countless times over the years. It hasn't been that long since I'd been to this one but between this recent trip and the last one months ago, they done diddly remodeled! Whole building is different. New interior, new menu look, all that jazz. I think this is a huge upgrade for this particular Taco Bell because quite frankly, it was getting sad. It was looking quite shabby and, well, gross. I ordered on GrubHub last night! It was Horrible. Got the new Crunch Wrap Supreme .. Potatoes, beans, little cheese, avacado, lettuce. Came with soda and 1 crunchy taco. Also ordered 3 crunchy tacos. My bill was 23.60!! After Taxes, supposed free delivery and tip I chose 1.50 which went up to 4.60. Tracked order had inexplicably directions where to park etc.. Only 33 apts and in #33. Got message that order arrived.. No knock as countless contacts is dumb I guess. I called as my order was not at my door. They had to find where it went. They told me to go search driver was gone!! After 10 minutes found at #23! Ok.. So i get home its all not right! 23.50 CHARGED FOR JUST THE ONE MEAL THAT WAS 8.15. No Tacos! Which were only 6.25 if they arrived!!. It was Awful and Dry, cold, no flavor mostly a Hugge Tortilla tons of mushy potatoes and beans Avacado only teaspoon on right side that tasted rancid. Best thing the Bahama Blast soda!! So I ordered a Spicy tostada, and burrito. Burrito is fine. Tostada however, has some orange sauce on it that tastes horrible. I was like "Orange sauce?? WTF... Um I'm starving so meh". Taco Bell has been a regular part of my diet for years now. This particular location is a FRANCHISE location, not a CORPORATE location. That means it is not owned by Taco Bell, but rather owned by a 3rd party who uses the Taco Bell name. So because it's a franchised location, they can choose their own prices. This means their prices are often higher than other Taco Bells. I first noticed this when they released the $2 meal deals a few years back. This location was always $3, while the corporate locations were only $2. Same goes for many other items on the menu. So I usually try my best to avoid this and the other franchise locations. However, I have found that this specific location has much nicer and better trained employees. Whenever they get something wrong in my order (which happens often), they always are extremely apologetic and often give me something for free. Many other Taco Bell locations don't do that. So out of all of the franchise locations, this is the only one I go to. But if you don't want to be ripped off and if you want the REAL Taco Bell menu prices, not the inflated prices, then try to eat at the corporate locations only. They include: 1. Taco Bell near Greenback/Auburn 2. Taco Bell on Cypress/Manzanita 3. Taco Bell on Howe/Hurley If the franchise owner would stop inflating prices, I would gladly change my rating to 5 stars. read more
