I love a good Taco Bell run but this location during lunch time on weekdays is not worth your time. The wait is far too long for what a person on a lunch break needing to return back to work has. The employees are understandably over stimulated with the lunch rush but could be more polite and professional. read more

I'm not one to usually write reviews but the service was terrible. I had to order everything three times because the manager wasn't listening and someone else was talking to her. I had to practically shout. Once I finally got to the window they basically just threw the food at me. Once I got home the bag was a complete mess. Every item wasn't wrapped properly and my order was so wrong. I paid $22 the food and three of the items are wrong. I tried calling them to see if I can return the items but they didn't answer. This is a nice, clean taco bell. The food was above avg. I had 3 crunchy tacos, 1 beef burrito(only $2)and nachos with cheese. I subtract 2 stars because one of the staff was acting very unprofessionally(making strange hand gestures like a kid and yelling loudly sitting in the dining area on his break). I didn't complain to the manager but young people starting out need to learn appropriate, professional behavior on the job. It was disrespectful to paying customers. He was also walking around the store waving what looked like a wand(very bizarre). The other negative issue is I paid $3 for a very small portion of nacho chips and cheese. This location is a bad egg. They continue to mess up orders regardless of whether they're ordered in person or online. Today's example, online order missing all the soft tacos ordered and paid. They also have horrible customer service. I went inside to order a side of guacamole I forgot--before I discovered the missing items--and was first ignored, then scolded for not using the kiosk, and finally made to wait while they made drive-thru orders. This is only today's examples. As this is the location nearest my home, I frequent it more than some of the better ones in my area. (Shout out to the Talking Stick location, you always get it right!!) I could sadly give many more examples of this store's crappy ways. Saw in reviews they have new management. I purchased an order from door dash, roughly around 7:30 pm. I took two bites into my crunchy taco supreme and noticed an overwhelming taste of mint. I immediately spit it out and noticed a ZYN (nicotine chewing pack) chewed up in my food. I immediately contacted Door Dash, the AZ Health Department and Taco Bell (main headquarters). I then reached out to the exact Taco Bell location and asked to speak with a manager, to inform them of what occured. I spoke with the manger Kim and she assured me that none of the employees on shift "chewed". However, she believed me and offered to remake the food and compensate me. I told her I was utterly disgusted and was not interested in eating anything else from the establishment. She proceeded to inform me that I was the SECOND call that night, complaining of something chewed up and spit in their food. The biggest problem is that I'm unaware of what diseases and/or viruses this sick, twisted employee has. So now, it comes down to assault with a deadly weapon. read more

As I've mentioned in my Yelp Tip -- they may be slow at times, but they excel at getting the order right! This Taco Bell opened about five years ago and can be occasionaly slow. But I'll take slower service every time, if they get the order correct. It's not rocket science. But for some reason over the years fast food places started focusing on the fast element. At the expense of the experience. Yeah, I know this is minor stuff. But how many of us have left a drive-thru window, gotten all the way home and found someone else order in the bag? Or, an order just totally wrong? Since we do not live nearby, the idea of driving all the way back... well just frosts me. So don't honk. Don't get impatient. Just enjoy the view of the tail lights in front of you, knowing that this is a safe place that you won't have to revisit in fifteen minutes. BTW, the inside is very modern and immaculate. I'm so sick and tired of inconsistencies with name brand places. It just tilts me out. I shouldn't get so frustrated but if I or anyone else CHOOSES to spend their hard earned money whether $5 or $5000, it's a choice to be a customer somewhere so deliver service. I'm not expecting 5 star service from Taco Bell but if someone says something, do it. The person at the drive-thru asks if we want hot sauce. YES, we WANT HOT SAUCE. and when you ask a hot sauce connoisseur if they want hot sauce you give it to them and extra. Well, I didn't get one hot sauce packet, not even one. So I'm ticked and annoyed because I can't enjoy the disaster food I'm about to consume. Also, we never got any napkins, sporks, and again no hot sauce. I see some negative reviews but I've never had an order issue and the inside is clean. There may be cars occasionally in the drive thru but they move fast. It's Taco Bell so you don't go there when you want healthy food. You go when you want quick, good crave food. I only go about once a month but when the Taco Bell urge hits nothing else will satisfy. Occasional I see Gen Z in there working or congregating. I'm actually convinced that generation is damaged somehow which made them all essentially autistic and emotionally unhealthy and unstable, but somehow they've concluded the exact opposite about themselves. Since I don't vibe that I'm a spaz like them they ignore me. It's a nice fast food place and someone takes pride in running a good business. read more

Time for a review update. They no longer serve the Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito, so I had to substitute one of my favorite menu items with a Bean Burrito. This is in my neighborhood, so when I'm looking for a quick meal, I stop by here. The employees working here are usually very friendly. There's a kid that works on the weekends that's always super friendly and tries to upsell me on various new items they have....pretty funny guy. It can get busy here on Friday nights when Desert Mountain HS plays their home football games, so if you see a ton of cars and people in there on a Friday, you know what's going on. 4-stars because of some inconsistency, but when they get it right, they hit the nail on the head. I have read the other reviews. Maybe the night or weekend staff is different. My visits are always in the noon to mid-afternoon time frame and I always go inside, so I can't speak to the drive-thru experiences. Staff is generally very friendly. A couple of times, they have been training new staff and that slowed down the process a bit. But one has to have some tolerance...we are all new at something at some point in life, so I give the patience that I expect to receive if the tables are turned and I am the trainee. The general experience here is very good. I always ask for extra red sauce on my burrito. Sometimes it's what one might call "extra," and sometimes it's not. But mostly they do it well. What bothered me the most about Taco Bell and/or the management staff of this facility is that several months ago, I visited their website and entered the contest...meaning that I completed a visit survey, in order to qualify for the contest entry. That particular day, I had experienced "STELLAR" service by both Arthur and Andrew (if my memory serves). Andrew was at the counter, and Arthur made the single best two burritos with extra red sauce that I had ever experienced in my MANY visits to so many branches of TB in so many states that I cannot even begin to estimate how many different ones that I've visited. Certainly well over 30 or 40 locations to be sure. After sending in that stellar review, literally NOTHING HAPPENED. I visited this location several times during the following few weeks and when I would see either Andrew or Arthur there, I would ask, "Did you guys ever hear any feedback...an "Atta Boy" or anything from my stellar compliments? Mind you, I had suggested that Arthur be made national manager of how to make burritos...that's how good that one visit really had been. NOTHING...not a word from anyone locally or from corporate. What kind of management team receives a stellar complimentary communication from a customer who tells them that they have visited countless TB locations, and that this was literally THE BEST VISIT OF ALL...and they don't even mention it to the people who were responsible for the direct customer contact that made that experience possible? Really? Not a word to them? Shame on you! Haven't seen either Andrew or Arthur there in maybe a couple of months. Maybe they left because their work went unrecognized...or maybe I just haven't seen them. Perhaps this glowing review of their work will reach them. Meantime, my experiences here are always passable...and usually very good. I think the 1-star ratings by some reviewers are unfair...and in some cases, based upon one particular bad item...like forgetting a burrito or hot sauce. Really? So the ENTIRE visit is trashed because of that? I think you have to weigh all the aspects of every visit. Have they NOT put on enough extra red sauce? Yep. Is that a 1-star visit? Nope...but it is a less than 5-star visit...hence why I figure the average ranges between 3 and 5 stars, depending on the exact experience that particular day...and why I gave them a 4-star rating....generally very good, but with inconsistencies that prompted my "good, but less-than-perfect" rating. read more
