I don't know what to say. I am perplexed. So I waited a long time in drive thru which is fine. When I was just about to get to pull to the window to pay, the car in front of me stopped for a bit. A gal got out and said she was given the wrong order. The cashier was apologetic and said to hold on and took back the bag that she had which apparently was my bag. We waited a bit for her to get her order and she drove off. I paid and the cashier thanked me for my patience. I said no problem and drove off. Well, imagine my shock when I opened up my bag and my burrito had a BITE TAKEN OUT OF IT! Apparently the woman had bit the burrito and realized it wasn't hers and just stuck it back in the bag and then the cashier gave me the bag! It was so disgusting! I didn't know what to do. I had already left and I wasn't going to go back. I plan on filing a report because I was so nauseated by what happened that I couldn't eat anything! They have an automated system for ordering in the drive-thru instead of speaking to an actual employee. You're in for a real treat if for some reason it gets an item wrong while you're ordering because trying to fix the mistake is almost impossible. The AI ordering doesn't understanding anything beyond the simple straightforward requests so if it messes up and tries to fix it, it'll only further the confusion by getting it even more incorrect. Finally I had it and went to the window to make sure it was correct, which surprise it was not, and then am met with frustration and attitude from the employees because they now have to work a little harder to fix the mistake. Must be frustrating for them, but I don't want to hear you complaining in the back about having to correct my order and essentially blaming me for the computers trash system. The automated ordering will simply keep me away from this Taco Bell. Yikes. read more

I usually wouldn't review fast food, but any vegan or vegetarian out there knows Taco Bell is a thing. Granted now most fast food places have good options so it's not Taco Bell or nothing. I ordered a couple things where the meat and cheese were supposed to be removed and opened it up to find it loaded with both. Also had another item with extras added that hadn't been added. In the end it's still paying $$ for a bunch of food I couldn't eat which is a bummer. I've actually never had a Taco Bell get an order wrong, this is a first (and never been to this location before). The staff here in this branch have an attitude problem. They do not have any customer service skills. They don't communicate well to customers. They will see you standing at the counter to make your order and they will just pass you as if they did not see anyone standing. I came here during the night and the female workers were just talking to each other as if they are inside their house. 2 females were about to go on their breaks and they just pass you without saying anything like - someone will be there to help you or, call someone to help a waiting customer. I could see my bag of food waiting to be picked up.....but the employees refused to make eye contact. Finally after a few minutes I had to speak up and ask if there was counter service. To be fair, whenever we get food here the quality is unmatched. The food is always made very well and any specifics included on your order will be met. The reason for one less star is the drive thru line is allllways long and not only is it long, but it is sooo incredibly slow. Like it has to be the slowest drive thru I have ever been in. Because of thus, we pretty much every time decide to go in and order. And inside is also slow!! But at least it's faster than the drive thru. They have got to be super short staffed or something. It is located a little ways away from downtown Walnut Creek which s convenient and sometimes when we're coming and going to either 680 or 24, it's a quick place to stop en route. 11/26/23 ordered nachos bell grande with a modification of no meat. The lady at the window repeated back that I ordered a nacho as vegetarian (basically yes) what I received was the exact opposite. I got nachos with only meat and cheese, not even close to a veg option since I would have been accepting if it at least had beans, sour cream and tomatoes along with the meat since I'm not actually vegetarian (just don't prefer all the ground beef). Tuesday, March 8: Really awesome experience at the local Taco Bell today at 3:45 PM. I made a quick stop through the drive-thru while running errands. The employee that took my order was warm, upbeat, kind and made sure that I got the best value for what I wanted to order without being overcharged. I was shocked by the high level of service. Additionally, the different employee at the window that handed me my food was kind enough to read back my order completely to me before handing me my bag to make sure it was correct. The employee also made sure I got the type of hot sauce that I wanted and even asked how I was enjoying the beautiful day. This is not what I expect from a drive-thru, much less from 2 contact points with the employees. I was blown away. A huge thanks to the two people that served me for making such a positive impact and making me smile. Also, to the franchise owner, whatever you are doing, keep it up! Came here to grab lunch. Saw that the drive thru line was backed up all the way from when you enter. I decided to just park and go in since there was not much cars parked. When I entered the restaurant I used the kiosk to order my food. There was 2 person that was waiting for their food. One person had their order mixed up and they forgot some portions of her order. I waited for almost 15 minutes to get my food. All the cars that was waiting in the drive thru had already gotten their food. 5 more cars went thru the drive thru after that and they all left before I got my food. It appeared that they cater to the drive thru first. When I received my order, they forgot to give me 3 of my drinks. When I asked them, they were very perplexed. The staff is not organized, don't communicate well with each other, and not very effective. I will definitely not be going to this Taco Bell. read more

I've had the occasional bad experience but this last visit was absolutely exceptional. Lexi the cashier's customer service was above and beyond all expectations. She was patient with me and made me feel truly cared for as I emphasized I hadn't gotten the correct number of sauce packets the last few times I went to TBell. I'll admit I was being a little difficult, but she handled it very graciously. She even gave me a little baggie with my name on it and all the fire sauce packets my heart could desire. She had a mask on for my safety, was in a good mood, and put up with me. I don't know what you are paying her over there but she deserves a raise or a promotion ASAP. Slow slow SLOWWW! The establishment seems to not be lacking with any personnel or short staffed but whenever I pick up an order here it is always a minimum of 20-30 minutes wait. The staff are neither courteous or friendly and see you more as a nuisance than as a customer which reflects negatively on this Taco bell's proper training of their workers. This Taco Bell is near my home so I need to go here instead of driving 20 minutes to another area. However, I will tell you the customer service is poor. They have messed up my orders half the time that I go there also they don't provide enough Taco Bell sauce. I have been to taco bells far and wide, including the most beautiful taco bell, in Pacifica. Nothing will ever compare to Taco Bell on N. Main in Walnut Creek. The manager runs this place well and she's friendly and proud of the place and it shows. People working there seem pretty happy and the food is always perfect. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS PERFECT!!! You can tell me anything you want, but I'm sure you couldn't find any other place where the correlation price/quality of the food would be on the same high level! I was able to get 4 tacos and 4 burritos for 10$ total. I was able to get 1 taco for 1$. If you know the same pricing in the other place, please let me know. Sure, it is not a restaurant-quality food. Sure the taste of the food could be better. But it is super cheap and full of calories! What else do you need after a long working day? There are many options to order and get food. You can do it inside, by the phone. But my favorite one is through the app with a drive-thru option. I guess it is the most convenient way for a couple of reasons. First of all, they have got a great app. You can order your favorite food and earn reward points. You can spend them later to get a free taco, etc. Secondly, you have got at your fingertips all their menu. You don't need to wait in line. By the way, you can even set your preferable time to pick up the order. Isn't it super convenient? But drive-thru way itself is kinda dangerous. It is crossing way out from Taco Bell parking and way out from other private parking. So you can see an almost infinite lane of cars, especially in the evening. By the way, the parking lot is pretty big. Every time I go there I capable to find an empty parking spot. The staff is super friendly and professional. I have never experienced any problems or rude behavior. They do their best to keep everything moving. I have to mention they have got an outdoor patio so you can enjoy your food outside. The interior inside is ok. I would recommend this place if you are super hungry and you don't have enough time to take a rest. Just order, pick-up, eat and go back to work:) read more

This location has gone downhill so fast. The staff use to be more friendly and attentive to the order. Now they miss items and they could care less. The missing items I have to take part responsibility on, should have checked the order. But when you order from the kiosk and they just don't give you items, that's bad. The items were what my kids wanted. Now they didn't get the items they really asked for. Well, here's the burrito you didn't want. 10/2/2018 Fucking Terrible. I went thru the drive thru and ordered my usual 6 soft taco supremes and 2 been n cheese burritos. When I got home(aka 6 min later) I went to open a soft taco and it was completely stuck to the paper, like the paper was DAMP *pic included* and when I went to tear it off some came off in little pieces but the rest was like engraved into my taco!!!! Since I wasn't in the mood for paper I went on to the next and it was the same deal. I gave it a go anyways cause I was hungry asf but it was inedible...everything was pure mush. Like if someone took the taco and put it in a blender then put it in a tortilla and covered it with soaking wet paper. The burritos were normal. I was pissed cause I had just spent like 14$ and could only eat 2$ worth of it. I've only been here a handful of times and never had this problem before. *TIP: If you've got the time and can drive like 7 mins out, I'd recommend the Pleasant Hill location. I frequent utoften and am happy with their food & service. Food has always been consistently good and Blake at the front counter was SO kind and went above and beyond. (I dined in). We went to Taco Bell for a quick bite, we used the drive thru on Oct 1st around 8pm (I believe) the guy at the drive thru was nice, offered to help and also was kind enough to save us money by recommending we order a meal rather than purchasing items a-la-cart. It was everything, the way he spoke to us, body language, and everything. Seriously some of the best customer service a person could receive nowadays, especially with most CSR's not caring at all. Even my 10 year old said, dad someone should give that man a raise and I agree. He was kind, attentive, courteous and whoever his manager is should certainly retain this individual, make him a manager if he isn't already, give him a raise and have him train others.
