These tacos are ridiculous. Massive flavor and richness. Very fresh ingredients. I bit into my first taco, and melted butter just seeped out of the corner of my mouth. At that moment I knew... Living in San Antonio I am always looking for a new go to taco restaurant near by. When this on popped up in my area I was excited to go! As soon as we got in we were seated right away. Taco Blvd has opened up in Alamo Ranch made its way across the city and with a welcome sight. Upon entering, we were told we could sit anywhere with open seating. Once seated we scanned the QR code for view the menu. Shortly after a server appeared to take our order I ordered the Combo Meal 1 6 Taqueros and a drink which I chose for 20 cents extra each 2 barbacoa and 2 Bistec and included 2 al pastor. Out of the three meats chosen the Bistec was the most flavorful one bursting with seasoning and flavor as for the Barbacoa was too greasy and the Al Pastor was great would say my next favorite one. My wife ordered the combo meal 3, Campenchana Machete which was generous portion and great tasting. Overall highly recommend giving Taco Blvd a try more of an authentic tacos not your Austin Tex Mex based tacos here, this is the real deal! What can I say. Rolled in and the place was empty So I already knew what laid ahead. The food wasn't horrible. The tacos are so small you can't taste it. They make sure to add tons of queso fresco so you don't notice. How did this place get away with two locations. I think the biggest issue is their pricing plan. I paid too much to leave hungry. Hopefully this places figured it out. It's in a good location. They could make some money if they just didn't nickel and dime stuff. read more

These tacos were the bomb best in San Antonio. Definitely will go there again. It was a little different. Waited 20 minutes past pickup time, got the wrong salsa, and no Tres Leches. Another 10 minutes waiting for a refund. This is the second time they haven't had tres leches and tried to not give me my money back. Probably the 3rd or 4th time waiting over 15 minutes past the pickup time. First time and last time. Here's why .... We landed at this spot because we went off based on the high reviews. We quickly learned that the reviews could have been based off a recommendation from the servers that if you leave a "good review" you'll receive a discount off of your total. I ordered 6 mini tacos combo which the meats selected were half chicken and half asada. The asada tasted funky & was not cooked all the way. The chicken was super dry and hard to chew. The meats overall tasted like last weeks leftovers! The beans that came with my combo were the worse I've tried. They add all kinds of extra stuff to them, which takes away the taste of a actual beans. Oh and depending on what you get, there is an up charge for queso fresco that your not made aware of! We had three different up charges ranging from $1.40 to almost $3 for queso fresco. Never again will we eat here! read more

SO GOOD. And approved by a friend who knows his stuff and would rather drive across town than try something new. The bistec, chicken, chicarrone and barbacoa was fantastic. The waitress told us they pull out the fat from the barbacoa post cooking so you get the great flavor without chewy and pointless meat. The quesadillas were fire and verde salsa was fantastic. Beware of the red salsa, our friend had to scrape some off because even the horchata couldn't cool it down. My husband loved the quesadillas so much that after splitting a 12 inch he ordered another 8 inch haha! We can't wait to try it again. The space is clean, quaint, casual and funky.
