Thursdays 1.29 tacos are reminds me of del taco and other fast food taco places. You get ground beef, lettuce, and a heaping of cheese. This isn't luxury food, it's throw back food, back in our child hood, these were how tacos looked like and tasted (the days before taquerias!) When I was a young kid. The shell is super thin and crunchy. The beef has flavor. Cheese is cheese. The menu has two meat options: chicken and beef. I saw some huge taco salads from other customers. Seating is exterior. What the hell, I go here because I know they're gonna put cheese in my tacos. I know they're going to put cheese on my food,! I go here on the day that it's not cheap that nothings on sale so there's no excuse. I live closer to San Francisco but was recently in a wedding in Saratoga. I saw there was a Taco Bravo near where we were going and I made my husband stop here because I haven't had Taco Bravo in ages. As a side note, I was recovering from a stomach bug at the time but I was not going to miss Taco Bravo. My husband had never been but I swore that they had the best "Taco Bell" style tacos anywhere in the world. I guess he agrees with me because we ordered four tacos to split and after eating one taco, he went back to get more! Love Taco Bravo! read more

Been forever since I've eaten here, wasn't sure what to expect. Sure, it's an after-drinking destination but I went for lunch. Even on Taco Thursday the tacos are hefty compared to that other taco place, packed full of meat and cheese and not much lettuce to get in the way. An incredible deal at less than a third its regular price! The beef was well seasoned and the shells stayed crunchy the whole drive home. The bean burrito was enormous...I couldn't finish it. Should keep and reheat well. Flavor was good; needed a healthy glug of sauce though. It won't replace my sorely missed Del Taco in Campbell but I'm happy these guys are still around. I used to love this place, especially taco Thursday's. But I just came from there and it's ok that they raised their price to $1.59 per taco on Thursday but they used to taste better when they were for $1. It used to be filled with cheese. This time the meat tastes a little burnt now they barely put any cheese at all. They are good but not great when they used to be cheaper. Maybe they cutting costs? I don't know but they could of been better like they used to be. Also they fill the salsa only halfway now when it was full before. read more

First of all this place has always looked shabby - Just walking up to order feels dirty lol This place just looks like the kind of spot where someone dies from food-borne illness. I was born and raised in the area, and still reside. Never tried it before until my friend kinda forced me to try their food here. We both ordered the Nachos. The way I was watching it be prepared just gave me the feeling that these people take serious shortcuts. He Topped it off with a giant bare handed handful of that sawdust coated pre shredded cheese. We both ate our Nachos and my friend loves this garbage but to me it tasted like vegan meat does to a meat eater. Like filler. It tastes and feels in your mouth that it's like 40% mystery ingredients. It's the worst quality "food" I've ever had. It feels like it shouldn't be classified as food. It's terrible, and here is the best part - I had some of the worst stomach sickness I've ever had the next 48 hours. I texted my friend to see if it was just me, and NOPE. He also got really sick to his stomach. Everytime I drive by and see a line of people, and sometimes even around 2am it's busy...I wonder what kind of garbage their parents raised them on because no normal person should continue to eat Taco Bravo after you know what the first bite tastes like. Taco Bravo holds a special place in my heart, because it reminds me of the period in my early 20s after turning 21. One too many fun nights in downtown Campbell were capped at Taco Bravo. Now that I've grown out of my party phase though, I can honestly say that I still like Taco Bravo as much as I did back in the day. Not like I crave it, but if I happen to be in the area I'm inclined to stop by. The food is probably not the healthiest choice either, but Taco Bravo is arguably a notch above Taco Bell in terms of tastiness. Typically I get a super taco, but tonight I got the mini nachos. So much for "mini" - the nachos were huge! I did ask for no nacho cheese, so I got extra shredded cheese. The shredded cheese wasn't melted, and if I got it like that was from anywhere else I would've sent it back. But the thing about Taco Bravo is that it's known for its piles of shredded cheese, especially in its tacos, so I didn't mind it one bit. Taco Bravo has the best quality taco shells/chips. Despite all the sour cream and re-fried beans, the chips barely got soggy. They held to their crunch very well. read more

Ok I was a little nervous because the cleanliness isn't completely up to par but I gotta give it to these guys, the classic taco with ground beef was so dang impressive. The shell held strong and the ground beef wasn't greasy & had a great flavor. Great cheese to lettuce ratio & their hot sauce is STELLAR. Got a side of sour cream & a Hi-C Orange & I was to the moon. I've eaten at taco bravo a number of times. But the reason for this review is because when I got my food , delivered by Uber eats, all the order was cold. I bought 4 tacos at 5$5 each. They tasted old. The order of 4 tacos and 1 tostada, I still have two tacos and the tostada and I would not eat if it was the last food on earth. And of course Uber doesn't want to refund my money. So tomorrow I'll got there with the left over garbage they made, and see who wants to take credit for the crap they call food. I spent $40. I expect more than dumpster diver food. I wouldn't have given them half a star. This was the worst meal of my life and I'm 49. What could improve, I'm not sure they can improve unless they start over. Burn your building to the ground. Hire people who take pride in their work. Last, all taco bravo employees should be required to have good hygiene. read more

Since moving here about 2 years ago I wanted to eat here just based on the old school sign... and it's usually a good sign if something moves into an old Taco Bell like a hermit crab. Ranked #32 of 150 best restaurants in Campbell by Trip Advisor, and given 9 out of 10 farts by Forbes. It's a love it or hate it kinda place, but at 2am everyone loves it, the late hours earning it the fifth star. Not dirt cheap, but fresh and cheesy and filling no-nonsense Mexican fast food. To people from Los Angeles, this is the closest thing to a Tito's. Come on Taco Tuesday or Tostada Thursday for deals. Alas, I came on Wetfart Wednesday. Don't come on Wetfart Wednesday. read more

I have always been a huge fan favorite for the chili verde and chicken burritos. Yesterday, I stopped by Taco Bravo during lunch and was expecting a long line at noon time. What I found was only one person. I should have taken that has a sign and left. No, I ordered my burrito and left. When I got home I soon realized why there was no lunch time line. The burrito had a small scoop of chicken, barely any cheese. All I tasted was tortilla. It was a mini burrito. We all know Taco Bravo is known for their huge meat and flavor packed burritos.
