Love this Taco Bueno!! Great workers and always clean.. super friendly staff.. recommend this one to everyone

Let me start off by saying I loved the Bueno locations by my old place off Midway and Frankford and Preston and Frankford. I would frequently grab 50+ tacos for our friends and I on game nights or for football games etc... But this Sachse location has been horrible since I moved to the area. I've asked for no tomatoes on my order and 97% of the time there are tomatoes. Obviously they don't want to take the time to make 3 fresh tacos and would rather just chunk whatever is already made into the bag. I also receive my drinks cups with soda dripping down sides when I'm in drive thru and have to quickly grab a napkin out of the glove compartment to wipe it down before placing it in the cupholders. I went inside a few times to make sure my "no tomato" order was made correctly and was not greeted and just stood around until a guy came to the counter and took my order without looking at me. I avoid this location at all costs and only go for my gf at this point. I'll stop and walk into Kroger and buy things to make my own tacos rather than go to this location. Horrible. read more

This TB used to be so much better. I'm not sure what all has happened to it but it used to be fast, fresh, and a pretty good value for what I got. Now it's very slow, meh on freshness, and much more pricey for what you get. The quesadilla size is literally half of what it used to be and the price is higher. With only two cars in front of me, I waited in line nearly 30 minutes...I would have removed myself from the line if I could have. I don't mind paying a little more for what I like to eat but I'm afraid this is my last visit to Bueno based on the quality/quantity of what I received and the amount of time I had to wait for it. Sad, really, cause I used to like it so much better than other fast food Tex-Mex. read more

Waited in the drive through for over 20 minutes for 8 roll up tacos. I am not sure what the hold up is but I suggest that you call in ahead of time and come pick up your food. It's a fast food restaurant and they only have the food part down. I will let yall know if the next visit if it happens will be better. read more

Unfortunately my review is line with many of the recent reviews. Since moving to Sachse I have started to realize that the limited fast food options in Sachse have no understanding of how to deliver quality food quickly. I went inside at this location last week as the drive-thru line had 4 cars waiting to order. I was immediately helped and able to order. Then I waited, and waited, and waited. 20 minutes later, my food was called out. During that time I counted 15+ cars going through the drive thru. 2 orders were delivered before mine for the inside of the restaurant. I asked for a manager to see if they cared at all that I waited 20 minutes for a one person order. The manager acted shocked that I waited 20 minutes, obviously oblivious to the speed at which inside guests were being helped, and the register employee stated it was b/c the order in front of mine was a large order. I watched them make it, it was 3 of the black styrofoam containers, if that is a big order we have a problem. The manager tried to explain they have one side of the food making line for drive thru and one for inside. I have to admit I was upset and went off a little telling him I watched 15 orders go out on the drive thru side, which had 3 employees and he was also helping that side, while the inside line had one employee with no help. What is the point of having a manger if the aren't going to manage the business. This location is helpless if the management is this useless. read more

My wife loves Taco Bueno. She was excited when we moved to Sachse and there was a Taco Bueno just down the street. For several years the food was good (she gets a crispy beef taco and a side of refried beans). But over the last year or so, the service has gotten progressively worse. The drive-thru takes forever even when no one is in front of you, the order is often filled incorrectly, and the quality of the food has fallen considerably (her last order of beans was old and hard). I guess she will have to learn to like Taco Bell, if possible. read more

We've been coming here forever and I could have sworn I'd reviewed them already. The staff changes from time to time but the food is always great and well-constructed. The sauces are excellent, the service is fast, and WOW they have such awesome tortilla soup! I highly recommend this place over any Tex-Mex fast food drive-through the entire length of 78! read more

Gross. Something has changed. The tacos are super greasy and the cinnamon chips were burnt and not edible. In the past the food was pretty good but the quality has hit an all time low. Take your money elsewhere. We all work too hard to spend $10 for food that is not edible. read more

Today store #3193 at 7:33pm you will find your drive thru register $4 over from my order #510550. I mistook what the man said my total was, and when I said I have too much money he paused, handed me a dollar and said "yes the coupon made it over" and shoved the money in the drawer. I checked my receipt to verify the amount, and I had handed him too much. In the grand scheme of things, it's only $4. However, someone on your facility knew it was over and decided to pocket a $4 tip. It is customer service such as this that loses good will regardless of the food. Y'all never get my order wrong, I enjoy the quality of food every time, but this has me hesitant to return when there are many fast food chains in the same close proximity that has yet to try to rip me off of hard earned money. read more

All the people here are very friendly and accommodating excellent service! Food good and for me my order is always right! Great fast food place! I even got up to the window and realized my husband had my card and he gave me my food for free- sweet sweet manager. No hesitation at all. I Of course paid him back! read more

Food is fresh and the staff is always great BUT the tacos and tostadas could use more tomatoes and cheese, they are really lacking!! If Taco Casa moves into town Bueno is in trouble :( read more

Good Afternoon, My friend and I went to the Taco Bueno (store #3193) last night in Sachse off of 78. When we arrived, we placed our order with the young man at the counter. He was very pleasant, and helped me in selecting the items for my rice bowl. Our number was called, but only my friend's food was on the tray. We inquired about the rest of the order, and the lady in the kitchen said they would bring it out to me when it was ready. I understand that some food needs to cook longer, and some things take longer to prepare. However, from the time we were handed the tray, 20 minutes had passed. I sat there watching my friend eat for 20 minutes. He was completely done, and my food still wasn't out. He went up to the counter to ask about the order after he had finished, and he was AGAIN told to sit down, and they would bring it out. About a minute later, the young man who took our order came to the table, and said it would be about 6 MORE minutes for the rice to cook. He did ask if I wanted anything else. I declined his offer, as I had already sat there for that long. We were in a hurry. I have received food quicker at restaurants that are not a fast food establishment. He apologized and went back to the register to refund my portion of our order. From our table we could hear him ask his manager for help. The manager stood there complaining OUT LOUD that I asked for the money back. I was only a few feet away. She made several condescending and rude remarks such as "some people can't get everything they want based off of their good looks". and "he should just eat something else, what the hell is the difference?" She then complained about the refund method, because we paid with a credit card. She sent the young man back to our table with $6 in cash in his hand. A manager should act professional at all times. A manager should set an example for the other employees. With the example this individual has set, and based on her actions, I can expect that you will be receiving many more letters such as this one. I highly recommend sending someone in to refresh customer service standards, expectations and guidelines with the employees at this store so they understands exactly what your company expects from them. Taco Bueno has lost two faithful customers. There are a handful of other chains in the area that sell the same food, and provide far superior service. read more

I'm not one to ever write bad reviews. I've worked in kitchens for years, so I get it. But this was, hands down, the absolute worst Taco Bueno experience I've ever had. The last few times I've been, it's been pretty bad, but this was just terrible. Everything was cold. The cheese on my quesadilla wasn't even melted. It felt like someone had popped it in a microwave for 15 seconds. There were refried beans all over the outside of my wrappers. The white lady in the kitchen was kind of a major bitch, and when they forgot my side of sour cream, she literally dropped a barely half full sour cream (which had *something* in it) down on my tray, like I was such a huge inconvenience for her. Then I could clearly hear her talking about me and complaining about how I was just trying to get a free sour cream. Also, the hot sauce was just...not right. Like I said, I've worked in kitchens for years. That hot sauce had to either be old, or the container isn't being cleaned. I feel really bad about leaving such a bad review, but...I will never, ever, ever eat there again, and I encourage everyone to do the same. Do not eat here. read more

Stopped by on my way home Friday April 29th at 6pm to pick up two crunchy beef tacos and a bean burrito for my wife. I went inside and waited behind one other couple to order. The cashier took my order, and I began what was to become a seemingly interminable wait. I watched as car after car left the drive-through. After waiting ten minutes it was getting ridiculous, but at least the couple ahead of me had gotten their food. My wait continued. Finally at the thirteen minute mark I approached the counter, where I could see my order on the order screen and the time counting up my wait time. 13:30. 14:00. Orders continued moving out the drive-through. 14:30. I finally saw the worker wrapping a burrito and making two tacos, and she miraculously called my number, 14 minutes and 55 seconds after I had ordered. I pointed out how the screen showed that it had taken nearly fifteen minutes, and without an apology or a care sure said they had to deal with the drive-thru. When I complained further she still did not apologize for my horrible wait but did offer to let me speak to the manager however I wasn't going to waste more of my precious time. Horrible customer service. I can understand prioritizing the drive-through to some degree, but I felt very victimized as I was made to wait very very long for a simple order just to satisfy some directive to speed up the drive-through. On my way out I checked the drive-through line and there were only a handful of cars there, not nearly enough to warrant a 15 minute wait for my food. I don't plan to return again. read more
