Horrible in all areas... sewage smell hits you in the face as soon as you walk in. That should have been my clue to leave. No customers were inside however several tables were unclean. Quesadilla was hard and dry. Looks like they gave me an old dry tortilla and thought that by grilling it, it would soften. No, it makes it even harder, evidenced by the cracking of the tortilla. Chips were hard and queso is a yellow gelatinous goo. Never again. Waste of money... good food and service is sooo impossible to find these days. It's so sad. read more

The girl bussing tables should really have ALL of her hair in the cap, not hanging out the sides and in her face. Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Only my second time here and I will never go back to this location. The first time the young staff was polite and even though I had to wait for my order they allowed me to wait in the drive thru as there were no cars behind me. Today I arrived two mins early to pick up my order and they said it was not ready and I needed to walk inside the restaurant to get my order. I asked if I could drive thru and they said fine. I drove thru and parked and waited another four mins past the order due time as stated on the app. I waited behind a car and I drove up 3 mins past the order due time. An older lady with short hair and glasses was so rude to me in front of my kids in the car, she barked that my order was not ready and told me sternly to go inside and get the food. I politely told her I was four mins past when the app said my food will be ready and she barked that she had other orders before mine to go inside! There were no cars behind me so I don't understand why I couldn't have waited. I wish I had asked her name to write in this review. I politely acquiesced and parked my car and waited another six minutes. I sent my teen inside to get my order and she did not come out for another five mins. In total our order was past 12 mins late. I observed another lady park her car and her order was brought out to her by a team member why did she get that service and not myself? When I was told to go inside to get my food? Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I don't mind waiting if I had been spoken to politely and received an apology for the lateness of my order. However due to this poor behavior I will be taking this to corporate and social media. Also, the carne asada street taco was disgusting. The chicken fajita taco was decent. We entered the store wanting to order chips, salsa, queso, and rice. The amounts we wanted apparently qualified as 'catering' sizes. The comical, ironic, and disturbing portion of the experience was the manager yelling from the kitchen to the register to us. "Catering orders can be placed online and picked up in 24 hours." She was serious. 2 paying customers in the lobby, wanting to purchase food, pay for it, and take it to go. Seeing past the rudeness and thinking through the problem she apparently did not have time or the care to do, we ordered 6 rice bowl and dumped them into a small disposable fools pan. "Catering" done. I included the receipt below to show what we ordered because we needed it at that time, not one day later, thus our reasoning for stopping in. If I were the owner I'd be mortified something like this happened in my store. If it happened to us, odds are it's happened before. Terrible service and manners. I placed a curbside order. When I got to the restaurant I drove around looking for curbside order spots. There were none so I went to the drive thru. When I got to speaker, I told them I had a curbside order but couldn't find the spot and the person told me that I needed to come inside. I said no, I am in the drive thru. Why did Taco Cabana offer curbside on app if they do not provide it? By this time there was a car behind me and no way to back up. Then the manager came on and told me to go to curbside and I said no, I am in drive thru. The manager continued to say go to curbside, but by this time the car ahead had moved so I had to proceed. Update review: it's been 2 years since my review about the cleanliness of the place. I think the staff is joking at this point. The first time I ordered bean and cheese tacos they gave me them with little to no cheese. The next day I came by and bought more and politely asked if they could give me extra cheese they then gave me tacos with 80% cold cheese and a table spoon of beans. 3rd times a charm right. So I came back and ordered 4 tacos with extra cheese I got 4 tacos extra beans no cheese. I swear they are messing with people at this point the visits were spaced out so I don't think it was specifically towards me but you're telling me a bean and cheese taco is hard to make. This place never fails to forget items of my order. Waited 30 MINUTES for my order (and had to walk inside twice to ask what was happening) and managed to forget 4 items. Not just that, the meat on the item they said took 30 minutes was RAW with blood pouring out. To wait half an hour for something never even cooked is insane. Should have checked the bag for items, but it was a ridiculous amount of time to wait at a "fast" food place. I cannot express this enough, they will forget an item or multiple. We placed our order at the drive through. The employee receiving the order asked a question about the sauce we wanted. That's when another employee chimed in and and begins critiquing the employee taking our order. She begins correcting all of us and undermines the original staff taking our order. The worst part is that she was wrong to correct us. She didn't realize what we were ordering. And instead of apologizing for making this a very uncomfortable ordering process, she proceeded to explain why she thought she was right. It didn't help that the woman's voice was rough and she was eating and smacking into the intercom. She tells us to park in space #1, which someone was currently sitting in. Such a weird experience. And mixed with this experience and recent reviews, we won't be back to this particular location. And it takes at least 15 minutes every time. Sometimes longer. I feel sorry for the people that work here, they are honestly doing their best. But they seem very disorganized, tired, and I'm not sure what they get paid but it surely isn't enough. 1/31/16 We stopped by after church like we used to today. We haven't been here in a while but generally you can't go wrong with TC. We noticed they made some changes to this store. They changed up the tables which made it roomier and easier to clean. The tables and floors are much cleaner than our last visit. The food was delivered to our table fast and hot. Taco Cabana food never disappoints! The taco salad with chicken was exactly what I needed for lunch. However, the wait... another story. This location was not busy at 1 pm however it took the staff over 25 minutes to serve my salad. I've been to Taco Cabana before and I'm sure I've never waited this long for anything on the menu. I was quite disturbed. Although the salad was delicious, the service can improve. It'll probably be a while before I visit again. read more

Orders that are complete, and have napkins, silverware, your sauces etc. are a rare occurrence. I think it's not so much a customer service issue. More like something is wrong with the way orders come in and are executed. It's take forever to get an order on a bad day and at best, it's a bit of a wait. This is not the old Taco Cabana we know and love. I wish they would figure out what's wrong and get it corrected. On an up note - the staff at this location fixed my order and threw in some extra churros, but I wish I didn't have to feel like an awful person when half my order is left off and I have to call to get the rest of my food. read more

Went to this location 12/20/2021 at 11:30. We with three to four other people waited over 20 minutes to receive our orders. We requested our money back after 25 minutes. I'm typically fairly anti-chain, eat local, and prefer holes in the wall, etc. but I've got to admit, Taco C is great at what it does. You have to give them credit for making everything from scratch with real ingredients. Their flour tortillas really are a league of their own. Their prices can't be beat, their salsa bar is well packed with a variety of flavors, and they have $1.50 margaritas at happy hour. I only had 1 and a half and I could feel it ...
