Forget about Taco Cass supporting the tide. It's a good place to come watch kickboxing or the atmosphere channel during the game.

However, as usual this was a very good experience. The food was good. Although I'm not a big fan of chicken or chicken fingers, I still enjoyed it. Another lady asked me if I wanted a drink while I waited. This was very nice and unexpected. Then, when the food was ready, she offered to carry it out for me! While I carried it out my self, she still followed me to the door to open it for me. Great customer service!

Y'all, lemme tell ya... the bigger snack had me grinnin' like a possum in a sweet potato patch. Hot, juicy chicken fingers that slap harder than a summer sunburn, and fries so crispy they could double as drumsticks. The service? Fast and friendly, like they been servin' folks this good eatin' since forever. And the spot? Quiet enough this morning to catch some Olympic action while enjoyin' a meal that's nothing short of fabulous. Listen here, if you think there's a better chicken finger joint in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area, bless your heart--go argue with the wall, 'cause I ain't hearin' it. Foosackly's is the gold standard, the crown jewel, the Beyoncé of chicken fingers. Don't sleep on it, sugar.

It's a fairly large restaurant as far as these types of places go. The interior wasn't spotless, but there are lots of tables available, and we found a clean one quickly. Service was a little distracted by the Bama game playing on the TVs, but our food came out very quickly. Chicken tenders were worthy of a 2 star rating, wings were a 4, so a 3 I suppose it must be. The wings were quite good. Although they were small, they were tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. Sauce was nice and hot, which is good since we got the wings hot! Celery was very fresh. Ranch came in a Ken's ranch cup, so it's not house-made and was a touch on the salad dressing-y side. The chicken tenders just didn't have enough flavor. They seemed hand breaded, so that was good, but there didn't seem to be a ton of seasoning. I also didn't get any sauce with them. Apparently, they have the standard special sauce, but they either forgot to put it on my plate or I was supposed to ask. I assumed they just came with the sauce automatically (you're charged for extra), so I didn't. They really, really needed some sauce to spice them up. The toast wasn't buttery or crispy enough, and the coleslaw was too thick and mayo-laden for me. On the bright side, the fries were really good and crunchy! I might return to give the fingers another shot with their special sauce if my boyfriend really wants their wings, but I can't say I'm itching to go back.

If you've never had meat (or VEGGIES!) cooked on a BGE, it will change your life. This fact alone will bring me back to try other things. Before I get into the meal, my only real complaint was that they only had a soda machine and tea. I had brought my mother along, and she already had lunch and wanted just to sit and chat. As it was a very cold day she was gonna order a coffee and they don't offer anything hot! It's definitely an opportunity to expand here even if it was just so simple as putting a Keurig machine in the back. I had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It is served with grilled chicken in a grilled wrap and cheddar cheese. If there was a buffalo sauce, I didn't taste any. I was a little disappointed in the wrap. The flavor didn't really stand out as being cooked on the Big Green Egg. The cheese wasn't really melted, which can be a common problem with shredded cheddar cheese, but it also didn't really have the buffalo flavor that I was looking for in a buffalo chicken wrap (maybe it was a Toledo Ohio wrap I don't know just not spicy. ) It served with a side of ranch which I juiced up with some Cholula and that helped. I i'm not knocking the quality of the food because it was good. It just didn't live up to the expectations I had in my head based on the menu description. It also came with a side, which I chose the broccoli salad. This was nicely done with bacon, I believe some quinoa and the broccoli was chopped up nicely so you didn't have huge chunks. Also, it wasn't overly sauced so that would make it runny. Overall I give the property four out five stars. Also, the flavor of the whole meal was fine. Good size portion and good value for your money.
