I've been here a couple times and I can easily say it's one of my favorite spots in Tempe. First and foremost, I would like to bring light to the wonderful service we consistently experience here. Sofia and Maddy are very attentive and friendly to all the guests we saw them interact with. Now let's move onto the food/ drinks. The MARGS are the best i've had outside of Mexico. They use beef tallow to fry their food, you can watch everyone making tortillas and your food behind glass, and the happy hour deals are just insane! The rolled tacos are some of my fave and it comes with two! My boyfriend is a huge fan of the torta. Every single time we get chips and salsa, YUM! Margs rock. I can probably eat like 5 quesadillas in a row. They're so good on their own with just cheese or so good with meat too! I don't have a single bad thing or experience. Every employee will drop what they're doing to help you, like we were missing an order of rolled tacos one time, no one even questioned it and brought us out our food! BUT these tacos were packed on fresh tortillas and the place was really cute. The fish taco was so tasty. The sonoran taco was wonderful - extremely flavorful asada. I didn't have it but two people I was with said that the barbacoa was not good. I also ordered the chicharones. They were just okay. If I was doing keto or something, the chicharones would be a definite order. They came dusted with cotija, with hot sauce to drizzle, and a tiny cup of guac. The ratio of chicharones to guac was way off. The staff was helpful in explaining the ordering process and bringing food out. Everyone was happy and helpful.
