The meat was not dry at all, very juicy and tender and the flavor just kind of explodes in your mouth when you take a bite. I seriously didn't want to stop eating it. As for the restaurant experience, we were seated immediately (at lunchtime on a weekday) and were served chips and salsa which kept coming and was pretty tasty. There are TV screens to pay attention to when you're zoning out of your company. The service was pretty reliable and fast, all of us got our orders in a reasonable wait time as well. First it's overpriced Taco Bell quality food, the workers seemed pissed off and miserable like they don't want to do there job. You know those times when you eat something and it is so good that you have to have it every single day for like a year? Well maybe not a full year but I have been on a serious Taco Jag for about the last month and a half. Now I have some of my places that I go to on a regular basis which you can read about in other Yelp reviews but I want to try something different so I looked up best tacos in the Inland Empire and discovered Taco Hut. The place was pretty easy to find, the only problem was that during lunch hour parking is pretty miserable. So I would suggest getting there well before lunchtime and finding a good place to park. Don't forget to do a Yelp check-in, and you'll get 10% off your bill. Even better, this place does the Yelp cash back. So it's almost like you can't afford to not eat there. To be honest, I didn't expect much from looking at the front of the building, but as soon as I walked in the door as I realize that this place was super clean and featured very friendly waitstaff. The chips and salsa were okay, nothing to die for, but the salsa itself was very tasty and obviously homemade. But I'm not here to talk about that right now, I'm here to talk about the tacos. I'm going to be straight with you, you really need to go here and try the Wilbur. I know, it's a really weird name for a taco but man I will tell you what, this thing is freaking off-the-charts! I mean it's got the most amazing pulled pork with barbecue sauce, wrapped in big homemade tortillas with cilantro onions and cheese. I'm telling you, this thing will change your life. I should have ordered three Wilbur's, but I decided to try some of their hard shell tacos. They were really really good and I was surprised at actually how large they were. These aren't those small 5 inch tortillas like some places use to make a taco, these are the big 8-inch tortillas perfectly fried and everything inside of them is like double yummy. The shredded beef is the way to go on those. I did order a margarita, and it was fairly small to be honest. I ordered it Blended but it came to the table over ice. Now at this point you're probably asking G Dan if they gave you a wrong drink why did you give them 5 stars? The answer is simple. I was just about to alert my waitress to the problem when she brings me over this tall water glass full of this pineapple alcohol wonderment. She says, here drink this. I did drink it, and let's just say it took me several hours before he could get any work done that day. So major kudos for them for hooking me up with an absolutely tasty alcohol beverage for no charge. You really do need to do yourself a favor and go here. Just make sure you get here before or after lunch, or I'm sure the dinner crowd in after 5 is probably pretty packed too. But no matter, you really do need to come in and get yourself a Wilbur Taco at a right that one off your bucket list. read more

My husband and I left and went to Bufadora off of Archibald and the 60FWY(100% Recommend them over Taco Hut). This is ridiculous, and last time we came in there was a waitress working that was so busy flirting with a married customer she purposely was ignoring our family. Conveniently located near the Kaiser medical offices on Vineyard, my husband and I decided to try out this place for lunch. I ordered the hardshell chicken taco and chicken enchilada with green sauce, ala carte. My husband ordered the taco combo and upgraded it to the king size for only $1 more. We were greeted with a robust hello and the most perfect tortilla chips and two cups of salsa, as robust as how we were greeted. We got our drinks right away and dived into the chips and the menu. There are a lot of choices on the menu that all look appetizing. When we received our food, all the entrees looked delicious. My husband really enjoyed his chicken tacos but noted that it was a little on the salty side. I took a couple of bites of my chicken enchilada and found the chicken to be too gamy for my taste. And perhaps because I had taken a couple of bites of that and then tried my taco, I found the chicken just a little too gamy in the tacos too. I'm not sure if I would have felt that way if I hadn't tried the chicken enchilada first. Work put me in the neighborhood for two weeks and I visited four times. So this review isn't based on an "off day" - this is a pattern. The food is good...not great. I recommend the hard tacos and they are super cheap ($2.50) on Taco Tuesdays (no one told me, I just realized it once the bill came). The shredded chicken is good but dry. Someone let the cooks know to brine the chicken first. Two thumbs up for the carne asada fries! What really makes this place unsavory is the attitude from the servers. They act like it is a gift that they are serving you. Just bad attitudes all around. The one exception is the male server who was there on a Saturday - he's awesome. But everyone else needs to take a deep breath, smile, and realize that you work in customer service. I've had better service at the DMV and Dollar Tree. Easy fixes if someone actually pays attention to this and does something about it. I'll try it again in a couple months and report back if there were any changes. read more

Taco Hut makes their own, and man...it was everything I've wanted to find all these years ordering this dish. This was the first waitress who was correct in warning me.
