My wife keeps asking me why I order takeout from this place. Almost every single time I do they get something wrong. I used GrubHub to order online yesterday. They sent me a notification of when my order would be ready and I was at the takeout window at that time. I told the lady at the window my name and she could not find my order in their system. It wasn't sitting by the takeout window either. She eventually went in back to look for it but couldn't find it. The manager came over to show me my order on paper but it wasn't my order. I asked GrubHub to call the manager and he came back to the takeout window with my order. He explained that since it was ordered through GrubHub that was the reason they couldn't find it. So I stood there for over 20 minutes only to find out they don't put GrubHub takeout orders where they put the rest of the takeout orders. You can't make this stuff up. read more

I have been in several Taco Mac's around the Atlanta are and this is, by far my favorite. The vibe and patron makeup make this a fun place to kick back a few, watch just about any game that happens to be on and chow down on some wings. And this is one of the few "Anglo" bars that actually shows soccer games on their TV's!!! Woot-woot!!!! And if you didn't already know Taco Mac, they have the deepest beer menu in the South! Draft beers (maybe 70 taps!!!!) are continually rotated, exposing you to more and more micro and craft brews from all over the country. True beer drinkers literally tremble the first time they hold the beer menu in their hands.... The wings are very good but my only issue is that the wait staff pretty much gets my order wrong 50% of the time at this particular Mac... I drove straight down from Chicago and wanted a meal to be within walking distance from the hotel. I got the wings mild buffalo, fries and celery. I think those were the best wings I've ever had! Long time customers of many Taco Mac locations. This place has gone down hill since the new management came in and is getting worse by the day. They can blame COVID all they want but the management is to blame. Went in for dinner last night and ordered a queso. Nope they are out of queso. Tried to order 2 signature drinks, nope can't make either of those because they are out of some of the ingredients to make it. Ok, tried to order a beer off of the menu, nope out of that beer as well. I guess we will settle for water for now. They cant be out of that. We ordered some wings, 10 for each of us, and waited 40 min for them to bring them out which is the norm nowadays. No celery or carrots came out with them, when we Inquired about it we were told they were out of those as well??? Why were we not told when we ordered or given an option of another side?? Who ever is in charge here now needs to step up their game or be replaced really fast. It is sad when the servers are complaining about the management and being out of everything. (We can hear them talking in the back room) This place is almost as bad as the Cumberland location, less the required police at the doors on weekends. I love Taco Mac for their selection of drinks (not a beer fan, but they can make pretty much any drink you can come up with!) and the food is fantastic. Where else can you eat delicious wings and tacos at the same time? Well, probably at many other establishments, but I prefer this place. My favorite thing to get here is the lemon pepper wings, which is different from most lemon pepper wings because they do not use a dry rub. It's more of a sauce and it tastes VERY lemon-y, which I love. It gets really loud, but it's expected at a sports bar with ginormous televisions and screaming fans. :) read more

This location is pretty good. It's very suburban, with lots of families and lots of kids. This is one of the largest Taco Macs, but they manage to keep service pretty fast. It can get a bit crazy with so many maga-huge tables with parties of 10, 15, or more per table. But as long as you don't have to share a server with a maga-table, you will be fine. The food at this location is just like the food at other Taco Macs, as far as I can tell, and that means I like it. It's basic pub-fare, but done pretty well, and for very reasonable prices. For the record, I like the nachos all the way. The hickory burger is a winner, too, but don't expect to get a medium-rare patty - they do everything medium-to-medium-well. read more

If you are looking for a cold one, or 10 this is the place. The food is 3 star, but the bar is great. Beer selection is awesome and they have all of the games playing. They used to have have great wings and fish taco's. Fish taco's, I know, kind of against the laws of nature, but they WERE good. These days, not so much. Aside from the fish being tasteless, they might want to consider deboneing. Having my mouth harpooned was not fun. So for drinks and a great casual atmosphere hanging out with your friends, this place should work for you. If you are looking to have a foodie experience, this ain't it. The Kennesaw branch seems to be always packed...as KSU is right down the street. To that end they have a strict "need to check your license" policy. Onion rings are tasty. This taco Mac is located on Chastain Rd NW, not far away from town center at Cobb. We have been going to other locations for the past a few years, and we always had great experiences. For this location, we have been here multiple times, but we weren't happy about the service or the wings temperature here. We went on a Saturday again, and it was a busy night for them I guess. The location was hot inside, the AC wasn't cranked high enough. I ordered a beer and it came out warm. And I asked the waitress for another sample, the beer tasted plain when the temperature wasn't right. Anyways, we ordered queso as an appetizer and original lemon pepper wings. The really nice things from here is that you can order many flavors as you want, no additional charge. The queso came out lukewarm and chips weren't crunchy. Wings came out crunchy and hot as we wanted, not with much lemon pepper flavor though, more close to naked. The size of the wings here is pathetic, the drums were like the size of my thumb for the past few times. I'm not sure I'm going back to this location, but I'm obsessed with their wing sauces, it has been really hard for us to find a decent wing spot. read more

I write this review not to bash the staff or the kitchen but the owners and management. The way this place is run is really sad. As someone who works in a restaurant I pity the poor souls who work here for 2.13 and have to put up with such a terrible chain. Beer glasses always have bubbles (not clean), health code violations behind the bar are so obvious it's painful. I would not trust the food or beverages from this place. It's a cash cow chain that does not care about its staff or customers, just the greedy corporate shmucks out to make a dollar. A great example you'll see is containers with juice used to make cocktails in the same bin ice for your drinks is stored. My husband of course always gets the fried chicken tenders and a side of fries or onion rings. I branched out and tried something different besides burgers and salads. The food was not the best. I got the buffalo chicken sandwich with Mac and cheese. The waitress forgot the Mac and cheese and just gave me the default fries. The sandwich was very dry. I have been one of Taco Mac's sharpest critics since the change over in management. But they have fixed everything! The wings are now back to being the biggest and best around instead of those small, puny ones from before. The cup of chili is back to its regular size. The service was fantastic! Come here a lot, and nothing too disappointing or great about the experience. Last time we came here we sat in an empty section for 10 minutes before deciding to leave and go to the place down the street. The hostesses were eating food that was sitting on a table two away from us, and our server never even came by to acknowledge we were sitting there. The hostesses were laughing at the front completely unaware of the fact we had yet to be greeted, and were much more interested in the people hanging over the host stand chatting and their own food than the paying customers. Used to go here weekly with co-workers. Great selection of beer, and if you haven't already, you should join their Brewniversity program. As far as food, it's OK, i've seen better at other sports bars. The thing that keeps me coming back as a beer person is their selection of craft beer. You won't find a bigger selection at any other restaurants. Atmosphere is OK, regular sports bar feel with flat screens everywhere. I can only speak on the beer here at this location, but the couple times I have been here to the Kennesaw Taco Mac, I have had nothing but great experiences. For those not familiar with Taco Mac, it is a essentially a sports bar and restaurant with numerous locations throughout Metro Atlanta and surrounding areas. I think it's a great place to watch the big games throughout the year and they usually play the big events across all events. The big draw for Taco Mac is that their beer list is quite extensive. Their draft list and their bottled and canned beer list does vary from location to location, but Taco Mac does do a good job of lots of beers from local breweries from around the southeast. For instance, the Taco Mac located in Kennesaw has beers from Southern Sky Brewing Co in Kennesaw and Reformation Brewing Co in Woodstock. Speaking of Reformation, Taco Mac will do tap takeovers and featured flights and Reformation Brewing Company is the latest brewery to be featured at Taco Mac. While the beer list won't appeal as much to local beer geeks as they mostly have beers that are found everywhere in Atlanta, the beer list is fairly extensive and bound to have something for just about anybody. While I haven't had food at this location, as previously mentioned, you cannot go wrong with the wings or the tacos here. I have personally had the shrimp tacos and I think it is a pretty good deal at 9.99 for the taste and amount of food you get. As far as the wings go, the lemon pepper wings are my personal favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of their flavors. read more

My wife and I went to taco Mac in Kennesaw off of Chastain Road last night for the pint glass night. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese, a couple of beers a lettuce wedge and then we had 10 honey chipotle roasted wings with french fries and ranch. I asked my waitress to find me an IPA that I had not had that was a 20 ounce pour and I would just take her recommendation she told me that she couldn't do it and that it wasn't possible and that I need to look on my app and tell her which beer I wanted. I knew this was inaccurate because I've been in there for the last couple Thursdays and my waiter or waitress had all done this exact thing for me before. Additionally our waitress was not really friendly didn't really smile and didn't really seem like she wanted to be there which is the opposite of what it's mostly like when we go to taco Mac in Kennesaw. On top of that the wings which we ordered , which were all drums were really, really small. This is the first time I've yelped or considered yelping any sort of negative review for taco Mac because we love the place but I felt like maybe you want some criticism that you might be able to take constructively and make some adjustments. read more
