Food was freshly made and a nice waiter (Diego) immediately brought drinks and suggested an appetizer. I ordered the veggie tostadas, nachos and veggie burrito to go. Then I ordered every single vegan taco. I was pleasantly surprised when they came out because all the vegetables were seasoned well & cooked perfectly. The nachos were delicious because they were piled high with toppings and not soggy. I also noticed they generously added slices of avocado! My favorite taco was the "Rico Ocho". It had potatoes and a nice chili sauce. The waiter kindly brought me extra sauces to go with everything. I recommend the vegan tacos and tostadas, since not only are they healthy but tasted rich with culinary culture that isn't easy to find. 5 stars for the wonderful variety of vegetarian options & great customer service.

This is a counter-service establishment and you get your drinks so it's great for larger parties!! I love the stubborn sodas, so yay!! The food was good but the brisket tacos had more onions than brisket so my kid hardly touched that and the beef Colorado tacos were so spicy she couldn't finish the first bite! She ended up eating a chicken quesadilla so she didn't go to bed hungry. The rice is great when dipped in the black beans! It's a nice place e to try! I

A local chain restaurant embedded in Dallas' sprawling suburbia. I don't know that every single thing is necessarily bigger in Texas, but the tacos here definitely were. My taco platter included two large tortillas, neither of which could quite hold the fillings they came with. Fortunately, things mixed well with rice and beans and some chips that were left over after I went through the salsa. Many vegetable-based options were offered, and I was quite happy with the ones I chose. It was tough to pick between the tacos and some of the more creative options, including a chickpea torta and a non-cheese quesadilla. This certainly exceeds my expectations for a taco chain in this area, and based on what I ordered, the rest is probably delicious as well.

It's a cute local taco place with a good assortment of vegan options. Tried two of their vegan tacos-Madre Tierra Taco and Pura Vida Taco. Of these too I loved their Madre Tierra with kale and Uruguayan sauce-warm,delicious and flavorful. Pura vida was ok as I prefer my tacos warm than the ones with cold fillings. Looking forward to trying out their other vegan tacos. Customer service was good and the restaurant was clean.

    Ocho Burrito with Chorizo

Walked in close to lunchtime with a craving for some breakfast burritos on a gloomy day. I was met with smiles and the recommendation to try the chorizo and I went with bacon for good measure. They almost forgot to toss the salsa in the bad but close call was adverted and flavor what salvaged. As for the burritos the eggs were fresh and tortillas nicely charred but some fine tuning might be needed for an extra visit for breakfast. Potatoes were still a touch crunchy and both came with corn which made for an interesting addition but not one I'd make on my own accord. Otherwise salsas help to boost the flavor and the chorizo was a nice addition. Not bad but not my top spot for breakfast burritos. On to the next!

Healthier less-greasy Latin Options. Including 6 inch corn or flour Mexican tacos, tortas, tostadas with a Modern twist Ambience may be a mix between Subway / Taco Bueno but not! It is a well-lit venue! Sit indoors or outdoors on the Patio sidewalk plus, healthy southwest or vegan salads! Incredibly fast service. Good food! Try it before this place gets so busy you can't walk around! Puerto Rican,Cuban, Mexican fast foods.

Smoked Chicken Elote Taco and the Brisket Taco (with little sweet plantains hiding under all that meat).
    Cassandra R.

My son is a nacho lover. I wish I'd grabbed a photo of the tower presented to him, but it looked so good we took a dive in and never looked back. Stubborn sodas are on tap and that's an easy win for me (well, really for him because I will say yes to sugar easier than corn syrup). I took a cute photo of my Chicken Elote Taco but the plantains hiding under the brisket was the best. I'm also 100% biased toward plantains. The Elote chicken taco tasted... chemically? Weird? I'm not sure. The brisket wasn't bbq brisket. It was stew-style brisket. It was good, but not what I originally expected. But you know already that I don't care because of the plantanitos. Overall, it was fine. We would go again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

    Nachos with brisket! So yummy!

Breakfast Tacos: Bacon, Egg, and Cheese
    Cyndi K.

A local taco restaurant with 3 locations in the DFW area, I've always driven past the Frisco location until I decided to stop and check it out. (I was also craving some breakfast tacos while running morning errands ). I ordered 2 breakfast tacos with bacon, egg and cheese; note to self: one is very filling. With options to call ahead, order online or in person, the location offers limited seating inside. The staff is friendly and quick to prepare orders. My breakfast tacos were very good with generous fillings. Looking forward for a lunch meal with them soon.

The photos make it look very lively and fun so imagine our surprise at happy hour on a Friday walking into an entirely empty restaurant! Two couples inside and a couple guys drinking on the patio. We still decided to stay because we were hungry and the place itself is super duper nice and cute! We opted to sit at the bar where we were kindly greeted and two TVs playing football with no volume (which I love)! The barstools were very comfortable as well. Ordered two of the BEST margaritas I've ever had with the gran marnier! I now want all my margs made this way. No need for a second! For food, the enchilada verde and the taco lunch plates were pretty dang good. No complaints there and the servings were reasonable and not too much from the lunch menu. No leftovers. Really enjoyed the verde. Chips and salsa were something to write home about! Amazingly toasted and crunchy, I should have asked for a bag to go with just those chips! Very good! All in all, the staff was too kind and it happened to be my friend's birthday so I "snuck away to the restroom" and told our waiter and he surprised us with a perfect tres leches slice that was absolutely delicious! For lunch and margs I spent $65 and he treated us with that dessert and I felt like that was so sweet! Thank you team at Lalo! You guys were great and I now actually like that the restaurant was slower at the time but I do hope they pick up because it was a great place for us! Enjoyed very much and if we are ever back in the area we will stop through.

There were so many people waiting outside. It was so nice to be able to be seated quickly, especially with kids in tow. They did not offer reservations beyond 5:30 that day, so you'll have to be aware when placing it. You'll receive a text confirmation from Open Table. Be courteous if you need to change or cancel your reservations. We were seated in one of the smaller rooms, which was great! We had good service even though they were extremely busy. We came here for our favorites that we usually order at their other location. The frozen mango margarita is thought of fondly. While it was good, it didn't taste quite as good as I remember it in the past. A very faint mango flavor, it tasted like a plain frozen margarita with orange coloring. It was disappointing since we looked forward to it for so long. The chips are always delicious. We ordered the chicken fajitas for 2 with no onions and they brought us combo chicken & steak fajitas for 2. We just ate it and took home the leftovers. They brought us a container to pack up and processed our tab quickly. Overall, a good visit with a couple of small opportunities for improvement. There are not enough parking spaces in their parking lot! We had to park next door by Academy. We parked far from the store as to not take away parking from Academy shoppers.

Every trip to Austin was augmented with a Chuys visit. Along about 1990ish they started expanding and a location near downtown Dallas was a highly anticipated opening. Almost as good as the original. They maintained authenticity for many years expanding even into other states. Then,as often happens, the nose dive began. As a result I quit eating at Chuy's,even when visiting Austin. Not the same. Then,a few months ago enter Darden Restaurant Group. They bought Chuy's lock stock and barrel folding it into their operations which includes one of my faves, Longhorn Steakhouse. I was anxious to try Chuy's again and see if the Upward recovery had begun. I overlooked the Plano location having never liked it that much in favor of the newer Frisco location. Due to my 18/6 eating schedule we went for a early dinner. Bottom line is,Yes! Atmosphere, food, service, prices combine to provide a great Tex-Mex experience. I highly recommend you.... Go!
