This place is small and off the beaten path but by far, hands down, has the BEST tacos in the Valley. Super worth the trip or a stop when you want delicious mexican. We're from San Diego and stopped by this spot on our way back home on a road trip. The food was very close to San Diego and Tijuana style food. We loved the small spice differences though. It's a very good taco shop and the owner was so nice. He came and chatted with us for a bit and was very interested in how we liked the food. Our first time here was 4 months ago at 11:03 am to get a breakfast burrito. We were told they stopped breakfast at 11am. It was just 11:03 am, and there were no other customers there. They could have made an exception. I am disabled, and it probably took 3 minutes to get from our vehicle to the shop. Instead we were told to order something else. Pissed off, we decided to go elsewhere. Today we decided to give them a second chance after reading all the fine reviews. We found the menu confusing, and hard to determine prices. We heard another customer order a Carne Asada burrito. So even though we could not find it on the board we decided to order the same thinking it might be good. Well the $12 Carne Asada burrito was small, with very little meat, and very disappointing. Sorry folks! Been loving good Mexican food for over 60 years, and will keep searching! read more

This is a very plain fast food restaurant located in the airport industrial area near Cascade Christian School. We heard several customers speaking Spanish and took that as a good omen for the food. I ordered a lunch special: two enchiladas, beens, rice and salad with small drink for $7. The enchiladas were beef and cheese enfolded in a standard tortilla with black beans, Spanish rice and a small serving of salad. The green salsa was a little hot. Breakfast just did not work out here. I came in hoping for the chilaquiles breakfast plate, as I had seen on an online menu. Love the dish and didn't know anyone locally made it. When I ordered it, however, I was told that it was not available as a plate. Odd, as the menu (photo below) specifically lists it under Breakfast Plates and states that all Plates come with rice, beans, sour cream, and tortillas. I pointed this out to the order taker (owner? cook?). He stated it didn't come with all that (though I could order extras, like rice and beans for an extra $2 each) and went on to try to explain what chilaquiles are. I said I knew what they are. (I've had them at other restaurants). I said that it was listed under Breakfast Plates on the menu... and right beneath that caption, it states all the extra goodies that come with Breakfast Plates. He told me no, again offering to add on for an extra charge, stating that the menu items only come with what is said under the specific item, not what it says under Breakfast Plates. (If that is the case, NONE of the "Breakfast Plates" come with the extra goodies offered directly under that heading as none of them had that in their individual section.) He was smirking during all this, like I clearly didn't have a clue... even though it appeared to me that he was specifically going against what was offered on the menu. I should have just left; I don't like businesses that are dishonest and don't stand by what is clearly stated on their menu. But I decided to try a breakfast burrito. What a disappointment! As he was bringing it over, it looked way too skinny. There was barely any filling in it, and the potatoes in it were barely warm, let alone browned. The first few bites had no filling whatsoever; I hate a burrito that is nothing but folded tortilla at the top and bottom... and even the middle had little in it. I also hate leaving a restaurant hungry; I had to have some oatmeal when I got home to feel like I had enough to start my day. My husband and I are visiting medford from las vegas and decided to stop by Taco Riendo. Best choice of the trip so far. The prices were totally reasonable, the food was other worldly. I got the protein tacos with chicken and black beans, my husband got the street tacos one of each meat option. I have never found another lettuce wrapped taco so that was amazing in itself, but aside from that the chicken was perfect, the chorizo is mind blowing. I could go on about tue food but in short, spectacular. The most impressive part was the service. Lisandro and Alex were very welcoming and so helpful. You can really tell when people enjoy their jobs and it shows with them. Great experience, i drove 14 hours for these tacos and I'd do it again. read more

This is now the second time I have eaten here and both times it has been excellent. My wife has to take her car in to the Subaru place around the corner for it's regular maintenance and so we decided to take a chance and get a bite for lunch. Oh man! So happy we took that chance. The young boy who served us today was one of the most pleasant and smiley servers ever. Try the horchata....best I've had. Have to say I now look forward to taking the vehicle in just so I can get some more of their amazing food.
