So delicious! This place is fantastic-- friendly and quick service, quality food, and a fun atmosphere. All of our food was great, and they have such fun deals and events. Wish I discovered this place sooner!

I wasn't expecting to enjoy my first time here as much as I did. Even though the bar is at the front, it's not raucous or crazy. Came in and had happy hour nachos, birria pizza and elote. That beautiful picture of all of the dishes... just under $20 and absolutely the best and freshest food I've had out in a minute. My friend had a burger w thick cut fries. Piping hot fries, extra cheese and nice soft bun. Definitely plan to visit again soon. Go check it out. Anna and the other ladies took good care of us.

I had no idea this was right down the street from me.... They have a variety of options for everyone. Everything is clearly labeled gluten free, and they are very aware of allergies, make sure to switch out gloves. My very picky child was a little surprised to see blue tortillas and was not interested in even trying it, but thankfully she was hungry enough and now... this is her favorite restaurant! She loves the blue tortillas. She's a big fan of flautas but unfortunately most places use a flour tortilla, but Taco rock uses corn! Also prices are really great, you feel like you're getting quality for a reasonable price! They have a lot of fun creative options too! French toast breakfast burrito wrap! Layer of pancake in a breakfast burrito served with maple syrup. Also have a ton of birria options! Eggs rolls, quesadillas, ramen... you name it! This will be in our regular rotation

Excellent food, vibrant ambiance, lots of free parking! Tacos are amazing! Check out the free salsa bar near the drink machine. Tomatillo, Habanero, Chipotle and tomato salsa. Order from the QR code menus on your phone, and you can even pay through the website. They deliver food to your table. Full bar, desserts, family friendly! Karaoke every Wednesday 7:00-10:00pm.

We came at around 4:30pm on a Tuesday for dinner. It was empty. We've been to Taco Rock (Falls Church) and were fans of the vibe and the really good food. Kiosk ordering is fast and easy. All the tacos are made to order so took a little time. Time to visit the fountain drinks and salsa bar. The habanero is no joke. It's habanero if you like it spicy. If not stick to regular or smokey chipotle. The birria tacos were so crispy/cheesy on the outside and the juicy shredded beef was so flavorful. Dip in the consommé for rehydrating the beef if it gets dry. My son's fav. I love their fish tacos. Both had chunks of super soft and moist fish (Grouper is the better of the 2) with a light super crunchy coating. The tropical salsas perfectly compliment the fried fish. Normally, corn tortillas are too gritty for me but the blue corn tortillas were less gritty. For the messier & juicier tacos, I kinda wished they used 2 tortillas to prevent total mass collapse of the integrity of the taco. But that's what your hands and utensils are for I guess. We tried the Mexican fried rice. It wasn't for me. It tasted weird to me with the spices/seasonings with the egg and chorizo. Might have been better without egg and solid chunks of chorizo? Overall, another good experience with Taco Rock. Sign up for local "TOAST" rewards app to get $$$ off future visits.

Having immensely enjoyed Taco Rock of Rosslyn when I used to live in the area long, long ago, I was initially enthused when I stumbled upon a Vienna location that had somehow snuck into the area without my notice. Such enthusiasm would soon be rebuffed upon opening my to-go boxes; and further rebuked upon taking a bite of what could only be described as disappointing. Nothing about my 2025 experience I had was familiar with my memories from 3 years prior and beyond. The ingredients; the execution; the proportions; the amount of meat; the flavor; and the tortillas, all invoked a despondence I did not know possible while consuming tacos. Save your money and go to Taco Bell; or go to Westover Taco, Tacombi, or Chevy's if you desire something more upscale. Heck, even Taco Bamba, which I find incomprehensibly overrated and mediocre to mildly disappointing at best, fares better than what was once a marquee brand whose name could invoke happy anticipation; but which is now interchangeably used as an adjective or verb meant to convey disparagement.

I had never heard of Taco Rock. I like the concept as it was presented in Oakmont. A wall of 4 large screens playing music videos from my childhood. But you didn't come to learn about my childhood:) we ordered lunch through the computer station at the door, and sat down. Our horchata was brought over pretty quickly as was each dish. We ordered a chicken burrito, chicken elotas, nachos, and chips and salsa. I tried out the salsa bar. The puffed blue chips and salsa weren't worth $8, the rest of the food was good but not memorably good or bad. The staff were nice and there was no when we came

This was a pretty disappointing take out dinner. My husband and I ordered 10 tacos for takeout. The menu is diverse and has a lot of appealing options. I also appreciate how easy customizations are in online ordering (including subbing lettuce wraps and flour tortillas). I'd like to give Taco Rock a try when dining in. This is definitely NOT a good takeout option. Our tacos were cold (and nowhere near even luke warm). My land and sea taco had 1 shrimp and the steak didn't have a good flavor or texture. The tuna also had a weird texture - it seemed slightly overcooked. I threw away my entire meal.

Example of the goodness.

The tacos selection is awesome and the food was really good. What turned me off was the way you ordered. I like to think I am technically savvy but I felt like my dad trying to setup a wireless network. It is totally self service unless you go to the bar. Self order, pickup at counter and clean up after yourself.

Food: Tried the shrimp cocktail (shrimp, avocado, tomato,…read morechili, and onion), birria sope, beef gordita, and birria tacos. Everything was flavorful and fresh. My favorites were definitely the birria tacos and the sope. Price: 3 birria tacos for $12 -- pretty fair pricing for the portion and quality. Atmosphere: Very packed, which is usually a good sign, but still nice and organized. Plenty of seating and the restaurant was decorated really well. Family-friendly atmosphere too. We drove out of our way to try this place and honestly it was a bit confusing to figure out where to order. There are two lines and it's not very clear which one we are supposed to get in for what. Especially because some of the items are duplicate on both menus. I noticed there was barely anyone in the "restaurant" line. Anyway, we sort of got a little bit of everything and wasn't completely brown away. I liked that they let you add your own toppings, and all of the sauces that have available were great. But the taco meats all sort of lacked a bit of flavor. Carnitas are my favorite but these were a bit inconsistent. Some pieces were very nice and juicy where others were hard to chew. I will say the place is very clean and spacious. They're pretty quick with your order as well. The food was lacking flavor for me personally. Overall, I don't think I would go back.

I came here during a visit to Fairfax and decided to see what was happening in here while visiting nearby Barnes & Noble. Nice clean spot with a bar and monitors. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the spicy mushroom, taco Bamba (skirt steak), and chicken (Peruvian). My biggest mistake was eating the spicy mushroom first. It was so hot, I could barely eat the other two. For my taste, I didn't enjoy any of the three. They just don't taste like Mexican tacos, and I guess that's the whole point. I guess I should be impressed by the variety of ingredients, but a good taco is a good taco. Sometimes a simple hamburger just beats a steak. Other diners looked happy and content, so I'm sure this place has their following. This is a strip mall with solid parking, retail stores, and other places to eat. I wouldn't call this a destination spot, with exception for the book store, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy, and Capital Grille. The main section of the parking lot was quite full and all the stores along the mall appear to track solid business. I was hoping to sit down and eat at the bar, but it was empty with no good games on TV when I visited, so I ordered takeout, which took about 12 minutes to prepare. I wish this place the best.

They have indoor and some outdoor seating. Service was friendly and fast- probably the best part of the visit. I ordered a tortilla soup and the small steak quesadilla. I did like you could order some "smaller" options. I originally wanted blackened fish tacos but got notice on their website that they were only doing blackened salmon which wasn't what I was craving. You get a number and your food is run out to you. The food came out pretty quickly while I was sitting outside. The small quesadilla came out first- it was a nice size, especially if you were getting other items. The steak had initially decent flavor - it almost reminded me more of barbacoa then steak. However as I had a few more bites, the steak was very greasy and the 2 cheese blend they used was a bit overwelming and fatty. I could only eat 2/4 without feeling a bit sick from the fat content. Also, I was surprised the quesadilla was served with no dips- no pico, no sour cream, no salsa for 9.75$ - feels a bit of a rip off. Now the real star of the unfortunate show- the tortilla soup. It was probably the worst tortilla soup I had. It was very brothy but without flavors- veggies were raw or undercooked and there were barely any tortilla pieces. They added a lot of chicken but the chicken was bizarre- most chicken tortilla soups have finely cut chicken or shredded chicken. It looked like they put in a whole scoop of taco chicken meat- the pieces were chunky, fatty, and barely fit on the spoon. Overall it was off putting, nothing melded together and with almost no flavor, I was left really disappointed. Did I get all the wrong things? Maybe. I may try it again one day but it was truly a huge let down.
