It's been our favorite hole in the wall taco shop, I think up until today haha! Tonight we took my mother in law out for dinner and she insisted on paying the bill. My husband and I always just insert our card on their little portable POS system the servers carry so we never look at the receipt. My mother in law on the other hand likes to see what she is paying before paying - she is a lot smarter than my husband and I lol Well we ended up learning that each of their LARGE fountain drinks is $7.50. 3 drinks = $22 before tax. The sweet server said they only carry the large drinks or the cute plastic kids cups. The large cup is probably 32oz. Yes they give you refills but like who needs a refill on a 32oz drink unless it's mainly ice lol. The mark up on their soda is insane regardless of inflation going on - this is from someone that orders both syrups and liquor for a bar. They're taking advantage regardless of the cup being larger than the standard size. I'm sure tons of people just swipe their card and leave like we do because of convenience. So instead of ordering a $7.50 fountain drink BEFORE tax. Buy a beer here lol Again, food is great & staff is friendly. Soda thing just threw me off. But good for this place. I was so happy i was able to try something new (sumo dog is too) Had 1 cheese taco, one no cheese and one of the special quesadillas (sharing with my daughter) DO NOT FORGET THE DIPPING SAUCE! it was so good we went back Monday. I asked the server if the flauntas or quesadilla was better she said personally she liked the flauntas better so i went with those. I PERSONALLY like the quesadilla better but that's just me. My kids loved the flauntas i took home, but LOVED the pizza (which is just a huge quesadilla. We have 4 kids at home so we went with the pizza not quesadilla). I love more chewy gooey so the quesadillas or pizza (depending on how hungry or how many you're feeding). But obviously it's preference. My hub got the same Week tacos. Which kinda tasted like teriyaki. He didn't love them. I'd stick with what they are known for. Service is really good, I'm also embarrassed because I'm an Asian mix, so i look Mexican and feel bad looking stupid not knowing Spanish, and never responding when they talk to me, i just smile (this is an in going thing not just here haha).
