Went in for breakfast tacos--left underwhelmed. I had a bean & cheese and a specialty potato taco. The beans were overly salty, the cheese was low-grade shredded cheddar, and the potato mix was oddly sparse on actual potato, peppers, and onions. Tortillas tasted either old or just cheap--not warm or soft. Salsas came in reused plastic bottles (a plus for sustainability!), but the roja had a metallic aftertaste. Service was the highlight. Staff were kind and helpful without being fake or pushy. I appreciate the effort to cut down on single-use waste--just hope they're rotating the salsa properly. Atmosphere had chill cafeteria vibes, which I'm into. One of my friends brought his puppy inside, which didn't thrill me--but if you're a "my dog goes everywhere" person, this place might be a win for you. Bottom line: I won't be back, but I'm not here to tank their rating. Just sharing an honest experience in case anyone's listening. read more

The ladies in front are very nice and friendly. I'd suggest advertising that they close at 2pm just because the quality of the food at that time today was poor. It was my first time here and the impression was... Dry rice, soggy meat that sits in liquid, no covers over anything... I won't be back, but I will never give anything less than 3 stars because I understand it's hard out there being in the food industry. To each their own. read more

This place opened a short while ago! For visitors and locals this is a find! We tried 4 different products and all were excellent! They have a few eat in tables but mostly take out. Reasonable prices and quick service. Homemade tortillas! Several places at the lake for Tex Mex and this is one of the better ones on the south side. New place so support the locals. Very good local taco spot. We had breakfast tacos, mini street tacos and the Parilladalicous plate. Breakfast tacos were not very generous. Any we had mixed with egg and meat had very minimal meat, just dotted the eggs. Barbacoa tacos were very good. Parilladalicious was a pretty generous size. Shrimp and chicken were good. Some of the beef was chewy. The tortillas that came with the plate were really good soft and homemade but some of the tortillas on the breakfast tacos would chip a tooth. Mini tacos were spot on!
