My kid crushed the asada quesadilla loaded with meat and cheese. The vampiro was flavorful (pork and asada) and the tacos were next level, especially the pork cooked on a spit. Located next to Raytheon and few other worthy restaurants. You'll see the continuous flow of customers flow through the front door. The options are simple from your protein or veggie choices, but what caught my eye is the tortilla machine behind the glass at the front counter. They freaking make fresh tortillas. That's a win in my books . I ordered the two taco combo with the Asada and Pork meats which also came with rice, beans and a drink. The aqua Fresca station was my favorite. I experimented with drink combinations and loved all the flavors. Back to the tacos, the pork meats which was exceptional. I liked the Smokey flavors topped with their house salsa . Overall, you can taste all the ingredients and unique flavors on freshly made tortillas. Yes please give me another reason to revisit this restaurant. There's a good amount of seating, but on busy lunch hours it might fill up really quick so just come a little before noon if you would prefer to dine in. read more

I'm not familiar with the El Segundo food scene but I heard the word that Tacomasa opened up a location just south of LAX. I'm in the area quite a bit and figured to give them a try. If you like TJ style tacos, Tacomasa is worth a try. Tacos are made with or without grilled queso. I suggest to try the quesotaco for a bit more of the experience. The asada here is grilled and has a great char and smacked with a dabble of guac. Grilled chicken option is similar. Adobada is sliced thin and topped with that refreshing crema sauce. If you've never had tripa, it's worth a try here. Served crispy with a smokey salsa, you wouldn't even be able to tell it's tripe. Seating here is bench bar type seating indoors but outdoors has more seating. Located in a plaza located next door to Raytheon, surface parking is ample. Why the 5 stars? This place is very clean and the staff here is nice and friendly. read more

Walked in for dinner on a Wednesday night and it wasn't too busy. The guy that took our orders was super nice and patient with our big order. There was some seating inside and some counters for standing as well as seating in the outside patio area. The tacos were loaded and the tortilla was so soft and perfectly made. The burrito was a little smaller than I anticipated, it felt like it had more tortilla then insides. Also not picturedare the nachos, those could use a little work. The cheese and meat were very scarce and the cheese wasnt very melty. Overall the food had good flavor and pretty close to a Tijuana style taco. read more

I've been wanting to try this spot for quite some time now and finally the opportunity presented itself. Efrain was the guy holding it down at the cash register! He helped us with our order and bagged our treats for our doggo. Thank you for that. My partner and I both ordered the Asada fries and the lengua burrito, both reasonably priced. Ambiance was cool, they had a great white and blue set up with everyone in uniforms and gloves. Staff was friendly and attentive as they would say hello to every guest every few minutes. Food. We decided to take out food. The tortilla they used for the burrito was thicker than the food itself. I would say it was more tortilla than meat and rice combined. The meat was not evenly distributed for the amount we paid/ expected. Honestly he said it tasted like a basic burrito. As for my asada fries, they were just average. Again meat portions were limited to none, nice amount of guacamole and cheese, but the fries were soggy and not crunchy. To top the experience I found a hair in the food. I get it happens, but this looked like it was someone's facial hair or pubic hair. And the fact that everyone was wearing a hair cap, come on now. Perhaps down the line I'll give this food place a try out again, but for me, I'd rather go to a whole in the wall spot or even Baja Ensenada. read more

Legit tacos, love the Elote. No sitting room inside but the patio is fine all year round. The Taco Trio is the best way to try multiple tacos. Highly recommend the smoky asada, and tender cubes of tongue. I loved the savory tripa in combination with the slightly spicy salsa, but the texture is not for the squeamish. DEEELISH mexican food in LA! Was in the area for a show at SoFi Stadium/YouTube Theatre and wanted to grab some burritos to eat beforehand. We found Tacomasa which is about ~15 min from the stadium in a small area called Chargers Commons, after one of the LA football teams! The spot is super duper clean. Plus the food tasted really yummy. Their menu was more limited so was definitely a good sign that they specialize in a few meat selections. Their adobada looked really yummy on the spit. I ended up choosing a carne asada burrito. The meat had a great flavor and char. The guacamole was also very good, and actually had a nice spicy kick to it. It also had rice and beans but was a good balance of ingredients altogether. Their drinks were all homemade too. Had an awesome meal, it is definitely a level up from other typical taco shops.
