I ordered the seared tofu and crispy egg plant taco with black bean side. My wife ordered Hawaiian shrimp and Mexican creamed corn. She had no complaints but why did my tofu taste like chicken! Because it was!!! #gotteem OMG... the manager tried to make it right by refunded my order and bring what I actually ordered. Lesson learned. The menu here is pretty diverse as far as tacos go, you should be able to find something that you like. The queso is pretty good, but it's a bit too runny for my personal taste. The food is pretty good overall, but I feel like it's a bit over priced for what you get. The service is very good and the place is clean. I'd definitely go back, but probably won't visit too often. Not only is the food delicious, they are also super accommodating! I love their tacos, but they also have fish/shellfish tacos and I'm extremely allergic to Shellfish. While ordering my food, I informed them of my allergy and they took it very seriously and I heard them shouting something in the kitchen about it to make the entire kitchen staff aware. As I sat at my table and waited for my food, a gentleman kept coming up and informing me my food is being prepared and they are working to make sure it is safely made. Believe it or not, not a lot of places do this, so I truly appreciate the attention to such a serious matter and them taking this matter seriously! The best tacos hands down. I take everyone who has never ate there to eat there and they love it!! They have a wide variety of tacos and their sides are just as great. They have vegan options as well but my personal favorite is the Korean BBQ taco and the chipotle streak taco. The Mexican cream corn is my fav as well. The perfect place to go when you're craving tacos! I ordered the grilled chicken and tofu. I wasn't a huge fan of the tofu, the tofu itself wasn't seasoned well but the other things that came on the taco were good. Absolutely loved the chicken! My sister got the steak and shrimp tacos, she loved the steak but not the shrimp. It was too sweet for her and there were very few shrimp in the taco. We both enjoyed the cilantro rice and beans. If I were you... Ditch taco bell and get a real meal at Tacos 4 Life. I was pleasantly surprised by Tacos 4 Life. Partner and I had a rare moment where we agreed on eating something other than sushi or Indian food. We had a hankering given our current diet (FYI, it's hard getting Yelp elite on a diet and trying to restrict eating out). Yelp said it was good so I was in, partner said he wanted the nachos so he was in. It's an order and sit type of restaurant with outdoor seating. There was plenty of seating indoors but outside was popular. The tables and seats were slightly sticky but mostly clean. Food arrived within 10 minutes by a really nice server who easily restated the order and it was perfect. I really enjoyed the tacos. They were a good size with really good textures (crispy Mahi Mahi, crunchy red cabbage, soft tortilla)(crispy taco shell but different from a hard shell, tender steak, raw red onions). They were slightly too saucy for me but it was so much more delicious than expected. The sides were pretty good too. I will absolutely be back to try some of the other tacos and burritos. I'd heard good things about Tacos for Life and since we were nearby it seemed a fine opportunity. My Lovely Bride and I were heading out for the evening and popped in for a quick bite in lieu of lunch. Took a peek at the menu and went with grilled chicken, basic beef and the Korean BBQ steak on soft corn tortillas just because. Got a soda and a water and found a table in the sunny part of the store - kinda excellent sitting inside next to the giant glass windows on a chilly winter afternoon. Matt (the manager as we later found out) was kind enough to to bring out our food and welcome us to Tacos for Life: three happy tacos on a tin platter. I had one little taste of the chicken before MLB claimed it as her own (she went and got another as a lettuce wrap which she enjoyed thoroughly.) The Korean BBQ was appropriately sweet and zippy with wonton crunchies and cabbage, hard to complain with a sauce named yum-yum. After those inspired flavorings the simplicity of seasoned ground beefs, lettuce, pico, and cheeses seems out of place. but finishing with a hot, savory beef taco is a good problem to have :-) read more

A friend took us here & I'm not sure I would've tried it otherwise (looks a little trendy from the outside & is right next to a Quicktrip).....the food is FABULOUS! Mahi tacos my favorite, but everything is extremely good here - customize your own or try one of theirs, either way it's a great option. Sometimes the line at lunch can be ridiculous, so go early or late to avoid the rush! They do have a take-out special entrance, so that's a great option too! Not a surprise but definitely worth the wait. While standing in line I had time to study the menu and decide what I wanted. I ordered mango habanero, carnitas and firecracker shrimp. I am not a fan of the puffy shells. No big deal, just my personal preference. The tacos were okay. My favorite was the mango habanero. It's spicy and packs a lot of flavor. The other two were just okay. So why the 4 stars? Well there are plenty of options for me to try and find my favorites. They have different special tacos each month and the five back to a good cause. She was convincing and confident- we knew that she had actually tried the food that she was recommending. She was a great person to have at the register welcoming patrons. We ordered a pork taco, a mahi mahi taco, and an individual guacamole and chips. The guacamole was fresh and flavorful. It wasn't bland or overpowering. The chips were warm and good. The pork taco had a puffed hard flour shell filled with super fresh ingredients. The mahi taco came in a soft corn tortilla and filled with fresh ingredients and a fresh lime wedge to juice the fish if you wished to. Everything was good. The dining area was clean and an employee was cleaning behind customers as they left. They have a free loyalty program that you can sign up for and receive free food based on the frequency of your visits. I recommend this place. read more

I asked the employee who took out order, if I could have a larger cup for water but she thought I wanted a soft drink, so she added $2.98 to our order for a soft drink. My husband tried to explain to her that I just wanted a larger water cup, not a soft drink but she didn't seem to understand the three times he tried to explain that to her!! She finally chose to roll her eyes at him and then refunded the $2.98. Great first time experience. The cashier at the front (Tonika) was very helpful in explaining the menu, how the customize our tacos and was welcoming. She gave her personal insight and favorites. Make sure you put the number up in the stand that is located on your table so it is visible for the employees. The food comes out very quickly. I ordered the Korean bbq tacos with a side of Mexican cream corn. The steak was flavorful, the crispy wontons added some crunch and the sauce had a kick to it. A great taco! The sweet corn topped with cotija cheese is a must. Two tacos for almost $12 is a bit pricey, but the flavors and quality are there. I had heard good things about Tacos 4 Life and finally was able to make a trip. Good place and great food. I had the Southwest Rice Bowl with chicken. I took off the ranch sauce and the bowl was perfect. Portions were pretty tremendous and I did not go away hungry. Service was prompt as they brought out the food quickly.
