Also, don't be put off by the line that is out the door. If you are getting just the fish tacos on Wednesday, the wait is really not that long. Their kitchen has got it on lock down. not sure if there is a change of ownership recently. We went a few times in dec/ jan and it was closed. I went on Jan 19 on taco $1 Wednesday and noticed there was no line. Ordered $44 worth of food. Came home and noticed the batter on the fish was oily and not crispy and light like before. I could squeeze drops of oil out of the fish. Came here for lunch actually went to the wrong location at first there are two of these located on Whittier Blvd this one is the larger one of the two they have seafood and meat tacos and tostadas and other stuff few tables and private parking lot. Yum yum yum yum yum yum! I love their fish and shrimp tacos. We waltzed in here on one of my day off and his not-so-day off Friday. We walked in around 1:30 pm, and was out by 2pm. The service was quick and although there was a pretty full house, we were able to find seating (there's indoor and outdoor seating, if it's not too hot outside). I came here on a Wednesday with a good friend of mine. I did not know that on Wednesdays, fish tacos were 99 cents. That was a wonderful surprise. The fish is fried to perfection while still being firm and flaky. The cabbage provides a nice, cool contrast texture to the fish. The salsa and cream the put on the taco further highlights the taste! I ended up here in search for a good taco place on a Tuesday. No they don't have a deal on Tuesdays! Which is good coz I didn't have to line up for my food. Ordered baja tacos, fish tacos and baja burrito Baja = combination of fish and shrimp I enjoyed every bite of my tacos and burrito. You can see and taste the quality of their food here. The one and only downside is that they make their burrito soggy which I'm not a fan of... Nonetheless it was good! They have a tiny bar for your roasted pepper and fork needs. Water infused cucumber is available next to the counter. Sauces and napkins are found on each table there is. I understand now why people would line up to get their fish tacos on a Wednesday. Bad customer service! I went they for the first time last week. I saw the long line and thought "this place must be good!" As I got to order, the lady got irritated when I started asking her questions about the menu. It almost seemed like I was bothering her... she gave me a dirty look and wanted me to hurry due to the long line. I felt very unappreciated! I ordered and was pushed aside.... Bomb ass fish and shrimp tacos! Came here based off the great reviews and both my stepdad and I enjoyed our food! We ordered the Baja taco and burrito which comes with cabbage, salsa, cilantro and some amazing cream sauce. We thought the fish was going to be a little crispier but it was still delicious! Really good food and good prices! I've gotten both shrimp and fish tacos & enjoyed both of them!

This place is really a hit and miss. Prior to the pandemic I would have left 5 stars but since business has gone back to normal it seems like they have just douche bags working here. On Wednesdays there is a younger male working the counter that is extremely polite and knows business but other days there is a tall mullet wearing asshole that talks to people like he is so much better. After spending almost $100 he rolled his eyes bc I asked him for 2 bags of lemons. He talks over people as they are talking and ignores people when they are standing at the counter. The inside is also very dirty. The cooler that the fish sits in is falling apart and just disgusting on the outside. You would think that knowing they are selling fish that they would take pride in the way the cleanliness appears. After today I think I'm going to have to find a new spot for ceviche and tacos.
