Tacos Baja is awesome. The shrimp cocktail is the best I've ever had, anywhere! The shrimp tacos are terrific and my son loves the burrito.

Best fish tacos ever! $1 Wednesdays it definitely gets packed and there's usually no where to sit but it doesn't bother me the fish tacos make up for everything else. I haven't tried anything else here so I can't really speak for the rest of the items but all the food looks delicious. read more

Rlly popular. The fish tacos were awesome. The shrimp tacos were awesome. Out of all seafood tacos I've ever eaten, those are almost my favorite. Warning about the tostadas: it's a lot of food for a good price, but it's so...crappy. the crab tostada is imitation crab. The shrimp tostada had old shrimp all mushy that smelled like old fish. The fish tostada was normal...but not as good as the tacos. Not even close. I wouldnt recommend the tostadas if they always make it like that. The tacos would have 5 stars but my entire food experience was 4. Also the service was so fast. Those guys must be used to being busy. Not my favorite Mexican food place, but it was alright. Got the Al Pastor Nachos and Carne Asada Street Tacos. The Street Tacos were the better of the two in my opinion. I really enjoyed both, but I thought that there was too much sour cream and sauce on the nachos. Also try to Mango Habanero Salsa it is soooo good. It's all been mentioned before but I thought I'd chime in. The Baja tacos are sooooo yummy. The batter they use for the fish and shrimp have a great flavor. I would of thanked the owner myself if I had known who he was or seen him lol but i didn't get the pleasure. I have to say I loved the service! by far thee best I've had in a while ... and it's been a while. When we first walked up, the line was all the way outside but moved quickly ... from the min I ordered my food to sitting down was great customer service. I had a big group join me we paid and sat down, within a few mins all of orders came out back to back. The hospitality was amazing every server that walked up was helpful.. didn't have any attitude or looked like they were having a bad day... I had been here when I was a kid but when they had the smaller stand in front of the car wash just experiencing it in a different atmosphere, from the food to the amazing service I would give this place more than a 5 star rating. With no exaggeration I just really enjoyed the place as an overall. And I hope it stays that way. read more

I had a shrimp and fish taco with rice/beans and everything was great. I will definitely go back! The seafood coctels looked really good too, as I watched others get their orders. I like this place. The fish and shrimp tacos are really great; I just don't like that they're fried but I know that's the Baja taco style, so it's my cheat day meal of choice. :) The whole shrimp tostadas are so yummy. They put a bunch of whole lil shrimps on a bed of this cucumber salad mixture in a Styrofoam container (the little one item size container). Then they give you a side of I believe three tostada shells in a bag. It's kinda like make you're own tostada because it's totally not going to stay together if they make it. lol. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the shrimp cocktail. They put a good amount of shrimp in it but they put way too much of something that gives it a strong like lime taste. It was the worst I couldn't eat the cocktail after two bites I had to throw it away. Maybe the person who made it was new... idk. I don't think I will give it another shot though with their prices it's not worth throwing food away. read more

This place is good. I like their shrimp ceviche and their fish and shrimp tacos. We always order our tacos with all condiments on the side, otherwise they are a soggy mess by the time we get them home. Their beans are yummy! They are different than your typical Mexican beans. One thing though, if you call your order in, don't be surprised if you still have to wait when you get there AND check your order; ours is usually wrong or missing something. read more

This place is as good as it gets. I never had fried yellow chile before. I never had these types of beans, they were light in color and so delicious. If it's your first time trying fish or looking for a good place to eat or try sea food over in the whittier side this is best place! My family has a home in Ensenada, Mexico where we go as often as possible in the summer. The seafood and fish tacos there are worth the looooong wait to cross the boarder. Tacos Baja is the closest you will ever get to enjoying an authentic, Baja-style fish taco without having to venture all the way to Mexico! Not only are the fish tacos divine -- crisp on the outside and moist on the inside, nestled in a corn tortilla with cabbage, crema, tomato and onion -- but their ceviche, shrimp tacos, burritos and shrimp/seafood cocktails are all VERY FRESH and VERY TASTY. I love the salsa bar with the roasted chiles -- a nice compliment to the food. The portions are generous and the price is right. The only downsides are : The place is a small, fast-food type place (you place the order at the cashier and then they call you to come pick up), and is nothing fancy. It seems like it's always busy -- and that's why, I think, it doesn't always seem super clean. Parking can be tough because so many people come here. Only complaint with the food is that sometimes they squeeze lemon into the shrimp cocktail, and the seeds end up in your cup and can add a bitter taste. I take many, many, different types of people here to try the tacos, and not a one has ever been disappointed. read more
