Yoooooo, call me a guero all you want, but when it comes to comida corrida y tacos - Don Cuco is my PLACE! They have all the tacos you'd expect, on the smaller sized taco truck style corn tortillas. They have a condiments bar with all the gross veggies I'll never eat, and sauces that make this poor guero cry. Tacos al pastor (with pineapple), and horchata is my go-to. And if it's a Taco day, Don Cuco is my hole in he wall go to that I can't live without. Only recommendation I would make: they need to get into the Birria game. Cuz that Birria biz is taking over the world lol read more

The tacos al pastor (con piña, of course) are bomb. It's 4 tacos/ plate and I usually end up getting two orders, they're so good! The staff is great, they always seem to be busy but are never rude. This isn't the type of place for a romantic date, it's very minimal, but I usually just get takeout anyway. read more

I'm never disappointed when we order from here. We've ordered both from doordash and from dining in. I brought my mom and family here while they were visiting for my graduation. We had to translate the menu for them, but they had a great time and loved the food. The employees were friendly and polite, and they had this adorable robot that went around to deliver food and play music, even it was polite! Very comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely eat here again. read more

I placed a mobile order and was honestly disappointed. I don't live near but was in the area so I figured I'd try it. They only gave me half my order. By the time I realized I was already home, over state lines. I called and they asked if I wanted to go pick up my food, like obviously? I already paid for it!!!!! They took a long time on the phone to locate the other half of my order and obviously now half my food at home is cold. This was a really bad experience and I have no intentions of ever eating food from there again. It was a pick up so I can't really speak for the environment but it's so obvious they do a poor job with online orders. read more

We love Don Cuco but this is just so disappointing. We ordered 2 batches of barbacoa & pastor & 1 batch of bushe. Well at least that's what we thought we ordered. We go to pick up the food and get this. We're having a small family party definitely not enough to feed at least 20 people. Didn't even fill up a batch what so ever then we go to get more sauce and one of the workers tell us not to get any more?? Like we spent close to 200 for that amount of food we got. Never again and I recommend no one to get "batches of food" for a family party or any event. SO DISAPPOINTING. read more

Tacos al Pastor were amazing! They come with pineapple pieces on them but you can ask for them to hold on that. Personally wasn't a fan so I just picked off the pieces. They are street style tacos... so yes they are smaller than your normal tacos you would get at another Mexican restaurant. You can choose from an agua fresca, canned soda, alcoholic beverage, or a Mexican soda. The salad bar has tons of toppings: onions, several salsas, limes, jalapeños, etc. The location is easy to find and it's got a super cool vibe. There is definitely a common denominator for their menu items but its as if each location has its own lil twist. We found that we still enjoy the westside location more. This new spot however is much, much closer for us. And they have a bigger, better beverage selection PLUS tres leches cake and flan!! Pretty exciting if you ask me lol. Service is just as friendly and wait time is about the same. My fish tacos always come out well after my husband's carne asada burrito. I guess pescado is not quite the norm for orders. Their corn tortillas seem different too, almost more dry and yellow. Their salsa bar is just about the same too. We are still very happy, taco folks with this spot closer. Especially if we feel like having a late night taco sesh, its open until 12am on fridays and Saturdays still. Let the late tacos roll! read more

This was the first restaurant we tried when we moved to El Paso. We used DoorDash, so my rating only reflects our takeout experience. We ordered carnitas, barbacoa, and al pastor tacos. The barbacoa and al pastor tacos were delicious and flavorful. I wasn't as big of a fan of the carnitas tacos. Nothing wrong with them, but the other two were better. They included the standard toppings you'd expect, such as limes, cilantro, diced onions, and a couple types of salsa. We also ordered Jamaica and limonada agua frescas. They were huge and really tasty. I'm sure we'll order from here again and hopefully in person this time so the food tastes even better. read more

Every single time I visit El Paso it is a MUST that I go to Tacos Don Cuco!! I love these tacos they're my favorite tacos in the west side of the country. The meat is cooked so well and with pineapples!!!!! It is so hard to find good Mexican food in Seattle so this place FILLS MY NEEDS. It's so cheap! You can pay $13~ for a pound of meat and lots of tortillas!! And wow the taste of the meat is so good because it's so perfectly seasoned and I cannot get enough of it!!! The service is probably one of the best I've seen in the entirety of El Paso... the staff is so sweet and so nice and they bring your food to you! When you walk up to the place, the building itself is pretty nondescript. They have a nice selection of outside seating, and your window to order is outside. Very nice lady at the counter gave me helpful suggestions and so I ordered three tacos and an amazing lime and cucumber fresca. Went in and sat down inside and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. It definitely had more of an upscale bar vibe to it than a Taco shop. The waiter that brought out my tacos told me that it turns into more of a nightclub after hours. I may have to go check that out. The tacos themselves were absolutely off the chain! The tortillas were blue corn and everything on it tasted so fresh and so wonderful. The carnitas was fantastic, the brisket Taco was to die for and the blackened shrimp Taco was one of the best I've ever had. Had. The flavors were so balanced and on point, it was one of the most satisfying taco experiences I have had!! I will probably hit this place up a couple more times before I leave El Paso. If you are in El Paso, you probably already know about this place. But I'm telling you what you cannot go wrong for tacos and that lime/ cucumber fresca! Bottom line? It's about 10 hours drive from Las Vegas to El Paso. And this Taco shop will give me a great reason to do a road trip anytime. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out!

The blue corn tortillas were amazing - I noticed they were 1/2 blue, 1/2 white but still delicious. Eating at the bar worked out well - the bartender helped us order and the tacos came out fast.

The parking lot was packed and there was a line to get in (that made me worried a little about the quality). Being alone they sat me right away. Asked the waiter what his favorite dish was and he said the smothered green chile cheese baked potato with pork chunks. The plate arrived quickly and didn't look very appealing. I dug in and took my first bite and, WOW, so darn good! Absolutely amazing. The cheese was creamy, chili not too spicy and the pork chunks were the cherry on top. Excellent.
