My friends took us here when we were in the area. Personally I refuse to pay more than $2 a taco on principal alone. Unless you have lobster in the taco, there's no way a taco should be more than $2. Tacos El Bronco has taco's for $1.50 and probably one of the best tacos ever for $1.75 (roast pork and chorizo taco). My gf and I had a total of 8 tacos. 3 stars because of the awesome sauces and incredible beef soup. Great service. I ordered a steak and beef soup. To be honest, the steak looked and tasted closer to ground beef so in that regard, it was a disappointment. But once you drench the taco with their spicy green or red sauce, it brings it up to par. At its $1.50 to $1.75 price range, I didn't expect much. The beef soup however, is an entirely different story. It comes out piping hot so be sure to let it cool first. It a stew with fresh onions, cilantro, good amount of beef chunks and a kick of spiciness. The beef soup is a must get. You'll notice practically everyone orders one with their meal. Arrived at 12am which had a small crowd. Service was simply quick and efficient, one guy takes your order and passes it along to the truck to be assembled asap. With 5 people in the truck, 1 person taking orders and 2 delivery guys, clearly this was a full scale operation that has grown because of a good amount of success. read more

Am I the only person that has bad experience when eating out? So I came here for cinco de mayo being that I called there restaurant location and was told there was a 2 hour wait to be seated. Which is very understandable being that it was cinco de mayo so I didn't stress it to much and decided to go to there food truck instead. I'm the kind of person that eats out and wants to have a freaking amazing experience even if it's a food truck, with that being said this food truck needs to change the way orders are being placed. Taco Perfection! The truck we go to is actually located on 37th St & 5th Ave (by Melody Lanes) but I think they have 2 more and a restaurant. The food here is Awesome, cheap and sooo fresh. We usually get a combination of bistec & suadero & pastor, with all the extras (onions, cilantro, lime, radish & cucumbers). The green hot sauce is delish! Passed by this truck a few times late night and always saw cars double parked, couldnt figure out what to eat so we decided to try the truck. Im not saying you have to make a special trip to this truck, but if your in the neighborhood and want to avoid mcdonalds dollar menu ir any other garbage, then its good food. This is a taco food truck that typically opens around lunchtime. Typically go here on a Thursday or Sunday night. Tacos are among the best you will ever have in NYC and for being "truck food" I have no issue putting it up against any restaurant establishment. Authentic as you can get with the best value for your dollar. Service is friendly with guys always ready to take your order and waiting time at a minimum. Whether I go during my lunch break or pass by at 4am at this truck after a night of going out, the tacos have never failed me. They're quick. They have someone usually taking order outside the truck, they take your name and call out your name when ready. In the winter, they have this small plastic cover with the heater. These guys are dedicated at what they do. Not only are the tacos cheap, they are delicious! There's a lot of meat and topping in each little taco. Best Tacos in NYC forever! We usually get it delivered to our place, but they are still so good! They tastes like the fresh ones from their truck, not soggy but tasty. Their tacos come with sliced lime and radish in aluminum foil, along with two different kinds of sauce (green and red). I always order beef but my husband's favorite is chorizo. Stopped by this food truck after a visit to the Rockaway beach and it was the perfect ending to an awesome day! The tacos were delicious! We had the tacos de lengua, al pastor, carne asada, and one the guy recommended. Since there is always people ordering the tacos were ready in about 10 minutes. I thought it was great that they have two gentlemen taking the orders and then giving it to the person in the truck who is relaying what is ordered to the cooks.
