We were in the mood for real Mexican "street tacos" and this popped up on my Yelp! It's a food truck parked on the street so no place to sit unless you have a pick up truck to tailgate. We had the carne asada, Al Pastor tacos (amazing) I had a muleta with asada (yummy and in comparison to a crunch wrap from TB but better minus the sour cream) and they let us try an asada sope! In addition we had a real Coca-Cola with real sugar in those cool bottles from Mexico! Everything was very tasty. Only complaint, there is no bathroom, no place to sit or wash hands, so bring wipes and hand sanitizer! We will return. They also cater. Cash only and I found it more pricier than the average taco shop but worth it!

So Yummo! ONLY CASH! Tacos are full of juice and flavor with a generous serving of meat. I look forward in trying out their other dishes. As I arrived pretty late just before they left.

Uno Birria y tres carnitas tacos :-)

Been going to this taco truck for the past few years-- and its hands down THE BEST TACO TRUCK in OC! The menu is so diverse, and they are most sweetest people-- family owned! Definitely recommend to anyone & everyone looking for an authentic taco truck with the best service & prices! The food is always delicious & fresh-- they never dissapoint! I never go anywhere else for that authentic mexican street food :,) 10/10

One of the best taco trucks in OC! Life changing tacos. My friend was vegan until he came here.

Solid taco truck parked in an alleyway next to some apartments. I had some tacos de asada, al pastor, and campenchana (asada mixed w chorizo). $1.50 ea for the basic meats, $2 ea for the specialty meats. All three that I tried had good flavor. They have three types of salsas, radishes, and pickled onions out for self-serve as well. Food was good but service was even better. The nice lady accommodated me with grilled onions upon request, and packed my order nicely to-go in a bag. She even gave me a free tostada to sample while I waited. Great no-frills spot to get your taco fix.

Was feeling extra hungry tonight and didn't feel for American food so we yelped and found this amazing food truck on baker and Fairview. Nestled right behind the Jack in the box on McClintock way. This Lunchtruck is a gem, and I recognize the chef from Santa Ana 13-14 years ago , and let me tell you his taco flavors has not changed . I had the asada , chicken , some Lengua and tripas. Everything was amazing. They even make Tostilocos to order! If you feel a hampering for some authentic Mexican tacos this is the place. They also have tortas , sopes huge burritos. Wanted to try their sopes but they ran out! I'll get u next time Mr. Sopes!

Find this truck at the corner of Baker + McClintock. This is a family-run, cash-only taco truck that makes amazing tacos. The couple that run this truck are super nice. Also, it's the best al pastor I've ever had. $1.50 per taco (*cash only*). The fancier tacos are a little more. They're parked on McClintock most days, from about 11am til 10pm! Hardworking folks that make incredible food. The al pastor tacos are my favorite, but I often get the pollo, asada, carnitas, and chorizo tacos, too. Everything is so good!

Dos tacos de asada y dos tacos de pastor.

Best street tacos I've had in Costa Meezy. Haven't had many but these hit the spot on this fine Taco Tuesday. I got 2 of each: asada and Al pastor. Comes with onion and cilantro if you want. They also give you limes and radish. There were 4 salsa options but beware, one of them bit me back making my left eyeball randomly shed a year and my leaving mouth on fiyah . Thanks for the rec #rileduprichy. Hope you find tacos as good as these in Oakland.

Tacos de birria and carne asada quesadilla

Great food and welcoming service. I got the quesadilla de asada hecha a mano, my bf got the tacos de birria as well as 2 gorditas. Everything was delicious, the only thing with my gordita was that I ordered carnitas which had some pieces of cuero or snout that could've just came from my bf's but to me tasted a little strong. Otherwise food was great and will definitely come back.

a taco truck parked in a parking lot

Absolutely incredible tacos. Thankfully we got there as soon as they opened so there was no line. Ordered tacos, burritos & quesadillas. All generous portions & full of flavor. The owners were very sweet & the food came out super fast. Definitely recommend if you're in the area

Carne Asada Mulita is the bomb! It takes a little longer since it's all made fresh but worth the wait!

Coupled with warm, friendly…read moreservice and the convenience of having delicious food just steps from your home (because it's a food truck), this is a high recommendation for trying them out. THE FOOD ELABORATION. - Birria Quesadilla | Incredibly juicy and flavorful birria meat with cheese, diced onions, and cilantro, all stuffed into a warm flour tortilla. It comes with a side salad, a few wedges of lemon for zesty vibes, and birria consomé (sauce) which is so good, it's drinkable on its own. Order this with no regrets. - Birria Nachos | Similar to the Birria Quesadilla, but with warm tortilla chips, crema, and jalapeños added. Great meal on its own. - Chicken Enchiladas Plate | Shredded chicken with cheese and green sauce; crema is drizzled on top. It comes with a side salad, spanish rice, and refried beans (a few tortilla chips are planted in for kicks). I really enjoyed this meal; everything was made to my liking. - Fried Banana | Sweet, warm banana slices that fall apart in your mouth. A side of sweet cream and fruit jelly further enhance this sugary treat. THE DRINKS DRUNK. - Horchata | One of the best I've had. The horchata was a perfect blend of rice milk and cinnamon. Consistency was slightly thicker than water and honestly, this is a rarity because I usually encounter watered-down horchata from other places before. THE VIBE EVOCATION. - Homey vibes. Their bright green food truck is quite eye-catching and I love the picture menu splashed across the side. THE RETURN QUANDARY. - Come back!!! I've been low-key waiting for this food truck to return for a minute.

The quesadillas were overly greasy, and the carne asada was almost entirely fat with barely any actual meat. We ended up throwing away the entire order, which was around $70. What's disappointing is that this was the first bad experience we had after many good orders. I stopped ordering for weeks, but decided to give the place another chance today. I politely mentioned what happened previously, not to ask for a refund or discount, but simply as constructive feedback so the business could improve. Instead of hearing me out or apologizing, they became offended and told me to order elsewhere. That response says a lot about the difference between simply selling food and actually knowing how to run a successful business. Customer feedback even negative feedback is valuable when handled professionally. Accountability and customer service matter just as much as the food itself, and unfortunately this place falls short in both areas.

I ordered the brisket tacos (tacos de brisket / pecho de res) with a crispy tortilla (tortilla crujiente) and carne asada--so good. They also offer salsas for an extra $0.50. The owner is incredibly kind (muy amable), and his wife does all the cooking (ella cocina todo)--she's really talented (cocina riquísimo).
