    Inside of an asada burrito

My husband wanted to try El Compita and so we came and it was be pretty good! Just a bit far for us. I got the five taco plate and he got a burrito. The burrito is not really big but has so much meat in it. It was pretty delicious. There were only two salsa options, the green and red. They put the red salsa as default on my tacos and it was really spicy. The pastor meat was nicely seasoned. Overall, would come back but it's kind of far.

My daughter stumbled upon this place while driving, and we decided to give it a try. Trust me, it was the best meal I've had in ages! I recently relocated here from California, and this place surpasses even the ones I had there. I highly recommend it and will definitely be returning.

We want to eat inside this spot the other day. We ordered 2 plates of 5 tacos and a mulita. One plate I ordered 2 asada, 2 pastor and 1 tripas. The other plate we had 2 pastor and 3 asada. The mulita was pastor also. Tacos are a bit on the small side, 3 biters. But the price reflects the size so it fits. Tripa taco may have been my favorite. It could have been better if it was a little more crispy for me, but it was very good and tasty. Second place is the asada tocos. The meat was average but they did give you a good serving. Overall a solid taco. Pastor for me was not how I like it. I think they add a little cinnamon for the sweetness and I'm not a fan of this on my meat. The tortillas were kind of bland. I was trying to figure it out. Was not sure if it wasn't cooked all the way but they were different. Also it was really greasy, which I don't mind but just letting you know in case it bothers you. Salsa bar is good they have pickled onions with habanero I love this. Also, pickled jalapeños and carrots, very good. Radishes, jalapeños, and red and green salsa. Serve yourself I like that. Red salad is hot but tasty. The tacos had me sweating. It's a good hot. The green is. It as hot but still has a good kick. Both were a bit too hot for my wife. Next time I will try a burrito. I hear their rice and beans are good. I don't order either this time. The staff is friendly and helpful. FYI - not many people have eaten as many tacos in their life as me. I will try them again I wasn't impressed the first time.

Service was friendly and helpful. They verified toppings for each entree, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was clean and had a sauce bar! Loved that feature. The food itself was okay.. little too greasy for me. The Birria seemed spicier than I've had in the past. Overall the experience was good, just not quite what I was looking for.

Second time here and I love it. I can tell you that I know for sure I'm eating here every 4-5 weeks. My goal is to try every single thing on the menu! Last time it was tacos, this time the burrito. Delicious

Stopped by for a quick birra taco fix and found thiss First thing I'll say is when u can sip on the consume you already know it'll be good. Came at night so the area was a lil sketch but that 3 quesobirra plate was delicious!! And the side of pickled onions added the perfect crunch and twang.

Best quesabirria tacos in all of Las Vegas. It's always decent crowded every time I go in, regardless of the time; so that speaks for itself. A little on the pricey end for the size of them. You'll need at least 3 to full satiated, I usually get 7-8 with a drink and my bill is around 40 dollars, so take from that what you will. Staff is very nice, place is pretty clean. It's a very nice vibe and I always take my friends here whenever they visit.

This place is authentic as it gets! It feels like when I was a kid growing up in L.A (Hawthorne) and went to get tacos. The beans and rice are 100% authentic, the beans taste home made de la hoya. The tacos are delicious the service is amazing. These are some of the kindest generous people I've come across. Tip! Tip! Tip! Tip! Even just a dollar! They appreciate it and it shows! We came on a Saturday evening. It wasn't busy, but there's constant traffic here. Highly recommend!

    Compita Nachos with Birria

Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Platos de 5 tacos (#2) and Compita Nachos with Birria. The tacos were delicious overall! The cabeza was tender and flavorful but the tripas were boiled and a bit queasy as they weren't cleaned well. The nachos were generous in serving size but the shredded beef was inconsistent as some pieces were quite dry. Service: 2/5 - not sure if language issue or the cashier just didn't care. After we ordered but before we paid, I realized that the cost was higher than expected and was trying to figure out why it's almost a $2.50 difference. We finally figured out that we ordered a Birria Nachos (#10) but he rung it up as a Compita Nacho (#18) with Birria (shredded beef). We tried to explain that we wanted number 10 and showed him a picture of the menu. He walked around the cash register and looked at the menu as well. When he went back to the cash register, he took the next guest. When he was done with the guest, he just asked if we wanted to order or not. If there's no difference between the two items, they should remove the cheaper one to prevent communication issues again. Ambiance: 4/5 - looks like the store was recently repainted and updated but some older signs are still hanging up. The tables and salsa bar could use some wiping though. Value for price: 3/5 - decent food at a slightly higher price point compared to other shops we recently visited. Unfortunately, the price difference for the nachos soured our visit immediately. Do note they only called order numbers in Spanish so brush up on your language skills...

Carnitas, al pastor, and carne asada tacos.

I love the original location on Charleston so had to try spot 2. Their food is consistent and delicious. I got the 5 taco plate with carne asada, al pastor, and carnitas. All three were very tasty. I don't think there is any place in Vegas that you can get five tacos at such an affordable price. Service was quick and easy. Tacos came out fast. The place is clean and nice with plenty of seating. Good vibes and people.

Is there any entree that is gluten free here? Does this restaurant use a shared fryer for things like flour taquitos that would cross contaminate gluten free corn tortilla chips? I have Celiac disease and have to eat gluten free.

Unfortunately ww aren’t certain yet, if the tortillas are gluten free. We would have to confirm with our tortilla vendor. And we do use our fryer for multiple menu items.…

If I had to choose a last meal on earth, it would be their carnitas a la Coca Cola. The pork comes out with deeply caramelized edges and it just disintegrates in your mouth. The cola reduction creates a sauce that's almost molasses/rich. I had to just wipe my mouth as I remembered eating this. My man also enjoyed his tacos, and I appreciate that they let you mix proteins giving us a chance to try a few different ones. Ordered the chicharrón and they came out great alongside a couple of really good salsas. The red sangria was also very well made, and the tortillas were made fresh. For the main dish, I got the chilaquiles. They were served warm rather than hot, and the flavor of the red sauce was a bit off, which is the only reason this isn't a full 5/5 review. The portion sizes are generous. One entrée is plenty to share between two people! Service was great. We specifically chose this location because of the higher ratings, and it definitely delivers. I'd happily return to try a different main dish and would easily update this to a 5/5.

They have a Loteria drinking game, with each card matching a drink on the menu. Fun idea, but when explained seemed confusing. The drink was ok, too sweet for me and a little small for the price. Menu highlights for me was The dirty corn, salsa flight, and my (2) taco plate. The dirty corn was a standout with elote-style corn in a bowl, topped with chicharron, chorizo, and spicy mayo. It delivers that street corn flavor, but with a good mix of textures and spice. My tacos were delicious. I tried one grilled shrimp taco and one carnitas taco, served with rice and beans. The blue corn tortillas were a nice touch and pillowy soft! The carnitas were amazing, great flavor and super tender. I shrimp tacos were just as good and when topped with their habanero, verde, and roja salsa, that heat and flavor depth gets elevated!
