I met with Deven first and he was so informative, and literally thought of all things so ask me that i wouldn't haven't even thought to ask him. On the day of our party they arrived right on time and started setting up and cooking. We had an emergency where we have to leave our party for an 1hr before the party set up and they were so cool about keeping an eye on our things. When our guest got there they were cranking out the tacos left and right! I GOT NOTHING BUT AMAZING REVIEWS FROM OUR GUEST about how delicious the carne asada, adobada and fish tacos were. The rice and beans were so amazing you knew it was home made! The beans where seasoned really good the rice WASNT MOOSHY! Which I was concerned about upon booking them because not every place makes good Mexican rice! But it was just AMAZING!!! And DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE SAUCES!!!!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company. They return calls and texts within minutes, clearly communicate, and are very reasonably priced, exactly on time and well prepared. But honestly, the best thing of all is the people. The three I met--Ruth and Oscar, who catered our wedding, and Devan, the owner--were all outstandingly friendly, helpful, and good at what they do. It poured rain the entire day of our outdoor wedding (they brought extra popups!), and even though it was wet and cold, Oscar and Ruth remained super cheerful the entire time they were there. And the food was simply off-the-hook delicious! Our guests raved about the food all evening, and kept commenting about how wonderful Ruth and Oscar were, too. The tortillas were the best I've ever had, hands down. Devan suggested having quesadillas during our cocktail hour since it was cold (he didn't charge extra for it), and they were a big hit. The chips and aguas frescas were delicious and really inexpensive; they even let us keep the dispensers for the rest of the evening and we returned them later. I had them cater our party of 30 people for my engagement party last weekend and everyone was loving it!!!! They came and set up 2-3 hours early and clean up nicely after they were done. We had it all carne asada, pollo, adobada, rice, beans, and TJ hot dogs. I know he does burgers too but I didn't order (so maybe next time) - Everyone kept going back in line for more. I think one of my brother in law had 9 tacos!!!!!! Oh let's talk about his sauces - all of them so good. My 2 favorite would have to be the guac and the red sauce (let me warn you, i have a lot of spicy eater in the family and all of them said it was spicy but in a good way because they keep wanting more!) Not only Devan serves quality food but he also delivers in the customer service area. There were leftover and we get to keep them all. Devan and his brother was so nice and everyone loved them. I had my friends asking me about their contact information so I also thought I am going to come on here and give them the review they deserve as well. I hired this business because after talking to Devin on the phone I knew he was trustworthy and would be able to handle the company fundraiser event I was planning. He had all the proper permits and licenses and insurance. He even had his insurance person call me to make sure that all the names the property manager wanted on the document were on it. He worked closely with me to make sure that we had the party details all set. He was very easy to get ahold of and was available by text as well. On the day of the event, his people showed up on time and were so easy to work with, kind, patient and hardworking. His set up was great because they brought their own generator and just needed a little bit of water for the steamers. They were ready To go at our agreed time and the food was delicious. Many people complimented the quality and taste of the food. Their guacamole sauce was so good and so were their red and green salsas. I saw people get right back in line for more tacos and so I'm taking that as testimony of the yumminess of the tacos. The freshly prepared tortillas were really what set this business apart from all the others that I have had. This business is a little more expensive than other taco caterers, but for all the time Devin spent in the party and for the fresh tortillas, it was well worth it. Their ingredients were fresh and they did not disappoint but rather exceeded my expectations. He even came out with his wife to the party because I requested to meet him and he made the special trip out just to meet me. I used Venmo to pay him so that was super easy too. We used Tacos El Gabacho again for our Super Bowl party. As always the food was great, fresh corn tortillas and plenty of leftovers. I highly recommend adding the fish tacos. I tried a number of different taco caterers for the first couple of years. They were all good. But once we switched to Tacos El Gabacho, we stopped checking around. He was so friendly from the start and once we spoke on the phone it all seemed to just click together perfectly!! We had beef, chicken and adobada for the meats. The adobada was easily my favorite just as promised by Devan!
