Horrible, owner and i set up a meeting after talking over details, date and time he says ok he won't book anything else that day. Met up on Tuesday, party is on Saturday, going over everything and where he will set up. After going over day and time he realizes he double booked. Tries to set me up for his son to do my party but his son works his primary job that day and won't be off until well after my party is over. After multiple texts and phone calls Devin never gets back to me, no phone calls or text. Just blocked my calls. Horrible customer service!!! Lucky I found someone to do it last min. read more

We were having an office party and one of the employees had attended a family birthday party that used Maria to cater their event. She said everyone raved about how good the food was so I decided to use them. They were very easy to deal with and they showed up early and cooked the food and were exactly on time to feed everyone. The service was professional and the food was delicious. Everyone enjoyed the food, even our vegetarian. They made their tortillas from scratch and the guacamole sauce was so good. I booked Tacos El Gabacho for my sons high school graduation party. They were great!! We had beef, pork and chicken along with rice and beans and all the trimmings. The food was out of this world! Everyone at the party was commenting on how much they loved it. Devon and Maria were so wonderful to work with! I had a few reservations when I called them. I didn't call them based on a friends recommendation (which I almost always do) but rather all the rave reviews that I read on Yelp. They didn't let me down!! Devon was very thorough helping me to order just the right amount without a lot left over. My headcount changed a few times with him and he was very accommodating about it. We had some elderly people who don't really eat a lot and I thought we were going to have a ton left over. I wanted him to change the order amount towards the end but he just said to trust him and it was perfect! Just enough left over but not too much. We have a small yard/patio area that we needed to have the taco stand setup and seating for our guests. I was very worried that it wouldn't all fit. Devon made a special trip to my house before I even committed to him ,to look over the area and show me exactly where and how it would be set up. He also made a call the morning of the party just to confirm everything and when he would be here. I was planning on calling him but he beat me to it! I would definitely use them again. We had them cater for a graduation party. They showed up right on time and prepared all of the food fresh here. The tacos are authentic street tacos and they make them for you right when you go up to order. You could order just about as many as you can eat! They had a separate table with condiments, rice, and beans. The tortillas were also homemade and cooked right in front of you too. The grill is on a trailer that was set up right in our driveway. We heard nothing but good comments from our guests all night. All of our party guests and I would HIGHLY recommend them. Wonderful authentic tacos and wonderful service. It made the party that much easier for me to not have to worry about feeding around 30 people. There was plenty of food and they gave us the leftovers. So happy with our choice to have the party catered by them. I would 100% have given them 5 stars, besides the fact that they ran out of butane and had to use some of ours. read more

Where do I begin!!? I had the opportunity to enjoy Tacos El Gabacho multiple times at family events and when we sat down to plan the dinner for our wedding, we knew we didn't want to mess around. We wanted tacos and wanted good tacos. We approached them with a proposition ​if we hired a team to help serve, would they be willing to put out dinner and a cocktail hour for our 120 guests. Not only were they​ willing to work with us, completely flexible in dealing with a bride and her planners (not always the easiest task) but they made me feel completely at home and comfortable throughout the entire process. I never felt like I was putting them out (even though I'm sure I was) and they handled all of my ridiculous requests. On top of it all, their food was incredible and our guests were not only well fed in an efficient amount of time but very quickly understood our insistence of having them cater such a special day. I have to admit, we were all a bit hesitant about how food would be produced and delivered in a timely manner, but they did a wonderful job. I can't wait to work with them again, although, to be fair I'd be just as happy to simply be a guest and get to enjoy their amazing food! Can't say enough good things about Tacos El Gabacho! Had them come for my daughters Engagement Party to serve 60 people. We had several vendors, bar, DJ, and food, and the girls (sorry I only remember Alex ) that came with the cart were amazing! Other than showing them where I wanted them to set up I didn't have to do a single other thing to help. The food was so good and the salsa, Wow!, spicy but so delicious. At the end of the evening the girls even packaged up all the leftovers that we used for breakfast burritos the next morning. Would highly recommended! read more

We hired them for a 50th bday party and ordered everything with Vegan options available as well. The food was delicious, the staff prepared and on time and they have the cutest taco stand set up with little outdoor lights to add ambience, it was a hit! I am out of town & asked my daughter's friend for recommendations & he highly suggested this catering service. From the very start they were so accommodating & personable to deal with. Taco El Gabacho catered our wedding on Oct 20th at Marina Village. Leading up to the wedding they were super easy to work with and they gave us that great feeling that they really wanted to deliver whatever we were dreaming up. The food turned out delicious with many of our guest commenting on how yummy everything was. They executed perfectly setting up on time and being ready for when dinner started. Overall, an okay experience. I planned an event a month in advance with Devon, told him we would have 15 people and needed delivery only. Although he was a super friendly guy over the phone, he was IMPOSSIBLE to reach. I tried to contact him, his wife and his daughter several times (voicemails and texts) for general questions and Devon contacted me back a week later each time. I needed to update our headcount to 35 people and change the time to an hour earlier, so I called him one week before our event. He FINALLY called me back the day before our event. His nephew dropped off the food on time, but included cold bagged tortillas. Unfortunately, ALL the food was completely bland with absolutely No seasoning or flavor on any of the meat and the beans looked like they were straight from a can. The chicken was also dried out and over cooked. This was very disappointing, considering he charged $13/plate. Devan and his team were very professional with the booking process and visiting the venue beforehand to tie down the event details, serving location, etc. On the event date they arrived early for setup and preparation. These street tacos are amazing, and along with the homemade tortillas, right in front of you, simply fabulous. All 3 meats were deliciously cooked, the sauces, from hot, medium and guac, were just the right touch. Fresh onions, cilantro, grilled peppers, fresh hot carrots, homemade rice and beans.
