Chicken, pastor, lengua, asada Great place! Street tacos that are tasty! Not huge overfilled , which is nice. I like a variety.

6$ I was shocked most places charged double so good

6$ nacho fries amazing I will recommend to anyone and everyone that I know it was quick it didn't cost a lot

Carnitas sope well it was mostly fat pieces and not so much meat. Plus they didn't give me the lettuce and tomatoes I was disappointed

Food was good but service was horrible! I asked for two orders of asada fries and she gave me one and one taco. When I told her the order was incorrect she got very upset and she said I must have made a mistake because she was certain she couldn't have made the error. She was more worried about being right then to just charge me and move on. She gave me a dirty look and asked me what my name was and I asked her why and she just gave me an ugly look the cook and the guys that usually are there always make it a pleasant visit but this time around I seriously wanted my money back and wanted to take my business elsewhere her name was Carla by the way.

Carnitas, lingua, and tripas. $1 each.

My husband and son went here on Sunday and brought me back some tacos for $1.00 each. These were really good. You can't find tacos anywhere for $1 each. My compliments to the chef.

I'm a little disappointed with my order today. I got a asada quesadilla to go. When I opened my container my quesadilla was swimming in grease. I have never seen this before anywhere I've ordered. Posted a photo as well, the tortilla is complete soggy from the grease. I ordered a chicken quesadilla for my daughter & hers is not like this. We also got an order of asada fries & even those are greasy

Brand new taco joint in an area that desperately needs some dining options! It was opening day and super busy so I tried the asada tacos to keep it simple. They were not the best or the worst I've had, but I'd go back again to give something else a try. After all, it was their first day and they were slammed. My coworker tried a super burrito and his opinion was the same-not the best or worst but it definitely did the trick in filling him up! They offer your standard fare-tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas and sopes AND they carry Coca Cola products...big plus for me! Service was fast and friendly so I think they're a good option if you need a quick lunch. P.S. They take cards!

Food is really good, but the lady at the cashier always gives me attitude when I ask for extra salsa for my burrito. They give like two jalapeño slices for a whole burrito and I like chile. So I always get 3 little cups which are only ever half full. Today she decided to charge me $1 extra for the salsa which had never been the policy, I understand food prices have gone up but why the attitude, I'm literally giving you business.

Asada $1 tacos

These are their $1 tacos. Meat tastes good but cmon. This spot is convenient for me and they typically stay open late. But it's not the first time that I get tacos with less than a spoonful of meat.

Love their tacos! Only $2 per taco and you can choose the meat. Delicious and fast. Perfect when I'm on my lunch break.

Our table was right next to a metal utility rack they were using to store menus and cleaning products. That's fine, but my head was close to a spray bottle and a bottle of Lysol, which wasn't ideal. They were very busy, so we had high hopes for great food. Unfortunately, many of the items were bland. The beans and rice were especially underwhelming, with very little flavor--you can tell from the picture that the rice is basically plain white rice. My flautas were crunchy with fresh toppings, but the meat lacked flavor. My meal came with a bowl of fideo, but it wasn't delivered before my meal like it was for other tables. In fact, I had to ask for it after our food arrived, which makes me think I wouldn't have received it otherwise. After we finished eating, it took about 15 minutes to get our check. The servers were clearly very busy, but it would have been nice to leave sooner. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back. The noise level was overwhelming, and the food was just okay. If I did return, I wouldn't order anything that comes with beans and rice.

Stopped by Fondita after a recommendation from my cousin and he delivered! Let's get into it…read more.. Ambiance - Fondita is a smallish restaurant, but can still cater to groups big or small. The maximum occupancy is 49 people, but it felt roomier inside than that. The decor is okay and the place seemed clean overall. Service - Service was pretty good. Our server was very friendly, and service wasn't bad. The only blemish was she did not check in on refills very frequently. I managed to get one, but my wife did not. By the time she asked again, we had finished our meal and were ready to go. A pretty small blemish, and not a dealbreaker for us. Food - The food was outstanding. My wife got the fajitas and they looked great! She loved them. I got the alambres and they were fantastic. Add in the homemade tortillas (both flour and corn) and it's an easy five stars! Their rice, beans, and salsa were all good too. No complaints at all with the food. Overall, I'd definitely come back again. The food was great, the people were super friendly and welcoming, and we were able to get a table right away. It's very close to the freeway, so when coming from out of town it's an easy on/off too. Great spot!

The restaurant is small and not in the greatest location, but the food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent. I can't wait to go back! The tortilla chips are a mix of corn and flour, which was a nice surprise. Literally everything we ordered was so good! I went with the build-your-own combo plate and chose a cheese enchilada, beef taco, and beef flautas. My entire plate was delicious, including the rice and beans. The homemade tortillas were so fresh and tasty. Everyone in our party of four enjoyed their food. We split the three-piece quesabirria tacos, and they were excellent. I chose the gravy cheese enchilada for my combo plate, but I also tried my partner's green chili chicken enchilada--both were great. You can choose between red, green, or gravy sauce for the enchiladas, and I definitely want to try the red next time. Don't be turned off by the unassuming storefront and corner location. This place is serving up some seriously delicious food, and it's absolutely worth the visit!

I chose La Mesa because the first time we went I was very impressed with the delicious drinks and the short rib enchiladas. The atmosphere is so special and intimate whether you're on a date or with family. Both times we went, our servers were friendly and checked on us appropriately. Our server yesterday was handling making drinks at the bar and serving other tables that were there for Valentine's Day, but she still provided us with really good customer service (not sure of her name but she was wearing a pink shirt). We ordered a few drinks that included a strawberry horchata with rum, and a special one for Valentine's Day called the cupids kiss. They really stood out to me with how cute and yummy they were. For an appetizer, we ordered birria French fries. I was surprised that it had the consommé because I assumed it would make the fries soggy.... But it did not! They were AMAZING. The birria was tender and delicious, the flavor had a lot of depth in the consommé. For our entrees, we both cannot get enough of the short rib enchiladas with the mole sauce. They are our favorite. I really am just grateful that there is a restaurant like this that cares about the food they share with their customers. In the past, we ate at restaurants for my birthday where they didn't take as much pride or care about what they served. My birthday dinner at La Mesa felt very special to me and my boyfriend. Thanks a bunch we look forward to our return visit!
