I had two tacos, El Pastor.

Food was excellent. This is our second time there handmade tortillas. The staff is very friendly. They also told me they use Mesquite firewood for that distinctive flavor. Very clean and friendly people definitely will be going back.

OK look I grew up with Mexican food. My whole family cooks it homemade fresh tortillas so I get it. I may be picky even though I probably look like the lightest skin color Mexican around. I was so excited to try this place. It's right by my work where I get gas so I walked in today. It was cold. I figured I'll try a couple of El Pastore tacos and hope that I found a good Mexican place just down the street so I don't have to drive that far. The service the girl was really nice very friendly took my order asked if I wanted everything on it. Yeah sure because in my world overly usually means salsa, onion, cilantro, guacamole, and cool so I'm waiting excited cause they're supposed to be handmade tortillas. You can tell their handmade I'll give them that presentation wise. My guacamole looks a little bit older. It's not that vibrant green, but I was excited for the meat cause I can always take off the guacamole so I take a bite. There's no flavor like did someone not get the memo to flavor the meat they have that nice juicy pineapple taste to taste that chili that just hits your mouth where that sweet but that spicy where you want to go in for that next bite. I'm looking at these right now thinking how am I gonna finish these and how am I so disappointed in a taco that you would hope would have that feel especially with a nice handmade tortilla but even the tortillas not good I won't be back. This is not good food don't waste your time or your money.

    Their logo, cute.

The service was fast and the food was filling. There was so much we couldn't eat it all.

This tacos are GOOD. Fresh handmade tortillas as you order. They don't have green salsa but they use fresh guacamole that tastes delicious 100/10. Customer service is always great. Definitely more on the price side but you get what you pay for. I haven't gone to a food truck and not paid at least $3 for a nasty taco

Came here because there tacos look fire but don't let the looks fool you I never leave reviews but I had too after trying these tacos the nastiest taco I ever had salsa has no flavor looks good but the taste is not it had no flavor what so ever I bought 4 tacos could only eat one had to force it didn't even finish the rest threw them away and to top it off I paid $4 a taco crazy for some nasty tacos save ur money and go Somewhere else these tacos are not even worth a $1 was so disappointed

    Tacos de asada,

I was kinda let down by these tacos. I had heard great things, but they didn't live up to the hype. The fresh tortillas and smoky meat were nice, but the salsa had no flavor or spice at all. Plus, the tortillas kept falling apart, so it ended up more like a taco bowl. Would've been better with a variety of salsas, thicker or double tortillas, and maybe salsa on the side. Not terrible, but not my favorite.

this comes out cannot make this up enough this isn't even hair hair it's feminine hair .

Great asada tacos . The mesquite smokiness and guac make the difference! Quality of meat and tortillas is up there with any other taquerias

We also got the Mexican pizza (didn't get a picture) which was also really good, the grilled jalapeños and onions were the perfect addition to the pizza and the tortilla itself was soft but not soggy with all the toppings. Dessert options were a little sad, they don't have much, but the chocoflan did not disappoint. It was very decadent without tasting overly sweet. Now for service. We had reservations at 5:30pm on a Saturday so wasn't too busy yet. Got seated fast. Our server was a gem, don't remember his name, but he went above and beyond with accommodating dietary restrictions. Service was a bit slow on drinks but our server apologized for that. I didn't mind, I rather my food comes out first anyway. All in all, great experience, great food. Will be back to try more!

My cocktail was good. The menudo was not good, tasted like they didn't clean the meat well or something, it was just off. I asked for lime for my menudo and was charged $2 for lime. The restaurant was not very clean either.

My only concern pertains to the method of applying card fees, which are charged per menu item rather than as a single transaction at the conclusion of the meal. This practice incrementally increases the overall cost, and I am unclear as to why a consolidated fee at the point of sale is not feasible.

I was seated quickly, and my waitress was friendly and attentive right from the start. She handed me a menu and asked what I'd like to drink. Shortly after, she returned with chips and two types of salsa: a red and a green. Both had good flavor--the red had a bit more kick but wasn't overly spicy. The menu layout is a bit odd. There are no prices listed next to the items--you have to flip to the back pages to find them. My guess is this setup makes it easier for the restaurant to update prices without reprinting the whole menu. The dining area had plenty of seating, and Mexican music was playing at a volume slightly above background level, but nothing overwhelming. I had no issue with it--it added to the atmosphere. Throughout the meal, my waitress checked in on me several times, which I appreciated. I ordered the carnitas with a salad instead of rice, and opted for flour tortillas. The homemade tortillas were piping hot and delicious. The carnitas were cooked perfectly--tender and full of flavor. The refried beans were also tasty. The salad came with lettuce, bell peppers, tomato slices, and avocado slices. I expected to be charged extra for the avocado, but surprisingly, I wasn't. They did charge a $1 credit card fee, which didn't bother me--it's fair for them to recoup processing costs. All in all, I'd definitely return the next time I'm in town.
