Even though the beer prices have definitely crept up over the years, the entertainment is always solid and the vibes are unmatched. Now that the classic car is finally fixed, we can't wait to bring it to the drive-in! My toddler and I busted some moves on the dance floor and a zoot suiter complimented us on our moves. The Food: You have to visit Caesar. He's been here for years and his BBQ sticks are 5-star perfection. I always get one of each with the rice--pro tip: load it up with the vinegar and hot sauce. The Finds: Shoutout to the two guys in the second-to-last row. Browsing their collection felt like being back in a Blockbuster! We finally scored The Lone Ranger and a classic Bruce Lee vs. Chuck Norris flick. Also, don't miss my buddy in Row A for records; he always has the heat. Family Friendly: My toddler had a blast on the train ride (super convenient that they take Zelle now). I was bummed I couldn't find my usual poster-framing vendor, but the trip was still worth it.

They even had a band playing and it was still a very, very small crowd. Not like the good old days when this place used to be jumping on a Saturday. Don't know if this was due to being open late on a Friday and having a band playing later on that Saturday night, but like I said very surprised on how small the crowd was. Unsure if I will be back, but brought back a lot of good memories of a lot of good times here.

I hired David from Passion for The Pie for my children's birthday party, and I honestly could not…read morerecommend him more! From the very beginning, David was so easy to work with. Communication was excellent, and a few days before the party he reached out directly to coordinate with the venue. That made everything so much easier and gave me one less thing to worry about on the day of the event. Our party was from 9 AM-12 PM, and David arrived before I even got there and was completely set up and ready to go. He brought his own full setup, including tables, plates, a pop-up tent for shade, and a great team to help everything run smoothly. We had around 120 guests, and everyone LOVED the pizza. Our package included two regular pizzas (cheese and pepperoni) and two specialty pizzas, and we chose BBQ chicken and Hawaiian. Everything was fresh and delicious. At one point, David even walked around with a freshly made pepperoni and jalapeño pizza that he made on the spot without us even asking. Our guests loved it! One thing that really stood out to me was how accommodating David was. I mentioned that we had a guest with a dairy allergy, and without hesitation, he made a fresh cheeseless pizza specifically for them. That level of attentiveness really impressed me and meant a lot as the host. He also offers different pricing options for adults and children, along with gluten-free dough, which is really helpful when you're feeding a large group with different dietary needs. Beyond the food, David is just genuinely great to work with. He is responsive, professional, organized, flexible, and clearly takes pride in what he does. He really goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. Our guests were still talking about how good the pizza was after the party! If you're planning a birthday party, family gathering, or any event and want fresh, delicious pizza from someone who is reliable and easy to work with, I highly recommend Passion for The Pie and David. I will absolutely be booking him again for future events! 5 stars all the way!

I really appreciated the per person cost which made it easy to calculate. There plenty of slices for everyone and a few extras. Extra touches included adding in an extra pizza selection and preparing a pizza especially for a guest who couldn't eat cheese. The set up is very cute and the owners were very friendly. Probably most importantly - the pizzas were delicious! Every guest raved about the flavor and crust and came back for more. Guests were very, very happy!

But the offerings they have here are just okay. The proteins are cooked well, but not really as flavorful as I would like. The kicker is that they charge you extra for "handmade" tortillas...these tortillas are not handmade. I saw them grab them out of a package and rewarm them. That's not handmade...also, there's are too perfect to look handmade...there are no craggy edges that are prevalent in handmade tortillas. The tacos are way smaller here than the competition, but are not cheaper than the competitors. In this neighborhood, you can't stay alive if you can't keep up. There are at least 3 other taco trucks within a 2 mile radius, and all 3 are better than this one.

I got an asada burrito. Mr. P got a carnitas burrito. We got a chicken burrito for GMIT. The truck is bright yellow and well-lit. Out front is a table with condiments (read - salsa, and SALSA - like DID YOU REALLY THINK YOU WERE GOING TO KEEP YOUR TONGUE?!?!?!? salsa). Also onions and tomato and cilantro. The burritos were pretty good and well-priced at $4 each. I enjoyed my asada, which was nicely chewy, and gently flavored, with fresh beans and onions in the mix. Mr. P's carnitas was also tasty. GMIT refused to let anyone taste her chicken, but at the rate she was snarfing it down, I would guess it was pretty good. We'll definitely eat there again. I really want to try the pastor.
