Recommend to me by locals who know good food! Boil plates come with free drink. Instead of just basic Low Country Boil, they offer Shrimp Boil, and different types of Crab Boils. Shrimp Boil was delicious. HUGE portions for the money. They are generous with the butter but you can ask for it without if you prefer. Seasoning was mild spice, but good, exactly the taste you crave for Low Country boil. This is definitely the place to go for seafood. Generous portions, good value.

I was visiting Jekyll Island and decided to stop here on my way back home based on the yelp reviews. I'm glad I listened to the prior reviews! This is a cute, laid back establishment. I came around 3:00 on a Monday and it wasn't busy. However, I can see how parking would be a challenge when they are busy. The employees that I interacted with were nice. I ordered the Monday special of fried shrimp with 2 sides and a drink. It was about $15. The shrimp was amazing and tasted very fresh. One of my sides was a corn puff (I could be off with the name). It was a delicious fried ball of cream corn. If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely stop by!

Pulled in a little past 11 and the sign on the door said closed. I sat in the parking lot trying to find another place to try when a server came to my car with a menu. 15 minutes later I drove off with the best boil I've had. It was 1/2 pound of shrimp (mostly deveined and so easy to peel), sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg. I got the spicy version which wasn't hot, just delicious flavor. Unbelievable meal for less than $20. Included a drink, plastic ware, and napkins. Perfect lunch!!

Seriously the best seafood you can get in the area. The shrimp are super clean, the portions are generous, and garlic sauce is fantastic. If I could eat here every day, I would without hesitation.

I have been going to Brunswick and Jekyll Island for 43 years. Our normal spot was closed during lunch so I found Fat &Fine Crab Shack. Oh Man! It did not disappoint. The shrimp and garlic butter blue crabs were amazing. The staff was awesome. Real local experience. There is a corner store a block down where you can grab a cold one. I ordered a couple trays to go and will be eating it all week. I highly recommend this spot. Reggae music, beer and great seafood.

The girls were all super helpful with ordering, never been here before and wasn't quite sure how it worked. I had crab legs and shrimp AND OH MY GOOOOOSH. As soon as I could get my fingers cleaned I had to share with everyone! New favorite place for seafood!! Definitely going back!

    We SMASHED all of this!!

First time customer, and when I visit the area again, F&F will be on my "Places To Go" list. My sons and I ordered the Snow Crab & Fried Shrimp Plate along with an additional order of 1lb boiled shrimp. Told them to make it spicy. None of us like hard-boiled egg, so they substituted an additional corn. Their garlic butter sauce is very good. Fresh seafood cooked to order, it only took them 15-20mins to prepare. We smashed every doggone morsel at the outdoor tables and chairs. Big Ups to the cashier, Brittanie! She was very helpful with suggestions.

Cashier was extremely friendly and personable as we placed our order. Once the food was ready it was hot from opening the tin pan until the last piece of potato was gone!!

The service was good. The food was excellent. All I would say is that the butter is extremely salty! I had to rinse it off when I got home, we couldn't take it. The seafood is fresh and delicious & greatly priced. I'd come back!

This is the boiled shrimp and snow crab plate.

The restaurant was spotless, beautifully decorated, and the background music created a relaxed vibe. I also loved that kids can draw on the paper tablecloths, and there are TVs at the bar if you're catching a game. It's a fantastic place for lunch, but it would also make a great date night spot. We ordered the blue crabs, shrimp, crawfish, and snow crab, and every single item was cooked to perfection. The flavors were outstanding, and even the sweet tea was perfect--not overly sweet, just right. If you're anywhere near Brunswick, Mr. Shuck's is an absolute must-try. We'll definitely be back!

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.
