Recommend to me by locals who know good food! Boil plates come with free drink. Instead of just basic Low Country Boil, they offer Shrimp Boil, and different types of Crab Boils. Shrimp Boil was delicious. HUGE portions for the money. They are generous with the butter but you can ask for it without if you prefer. Seasoning was mild spice, but good, exactly the taste you crave for Low Country boil. This is definitely the place to go for seafood. Generous portions, good value. read more

I was visiting Jekyll Island and decided to stop here on my way back home based on the yelp reviews. I'm glad I listened to the prior reviews! This is a cute, laid back establishment. I came around 3:00 on a Monday and it wasn't busy. However, I can see how parking would be a challenge when they are busy. The employees that I interacted with were nice. I ordered the Monday special of fried shrimp with 2 sides and a drink. It was about $15. The shrimp was amazing and tasted very fresh. One of my sides was a corn puff (I could be off with the name). It was a delicious fried ball of cream corn. If I'm ever back in the area I would definitely stop by! read more

I sat in the parking lot trying to find another place to try when a server came to my car with a menu. 15 minutes later I drove off with the best boil I've had. It was 1/2 pound of shrimp (mostly deveined and so easy to peel), sausage, potatoes, corn on the cob, and a hard boiled egg. I got the spicy version which wasn't hot, just delicious flavor. Unbelievable meal for less than $20. Included a drink, plastic ware, and napkins. Perfect lunch!! read more

I have been going to Brunswick and Jekyll Island for 43 years. Our normal spot was closed during lunch so I found Fat &Fine Crab Shack. Oh Man! It did not disappoint. The shrimp and garlic butter blue crabs were amazing. The staff was awesome. Real local experience. There is a corner store a block down where you can grab a cold one. I ordered a couple trays to go and will be eating it all week. I highly recommend this spot. Reggae music, beer and great seafood. read more

My sons and I ordered the Snow Crab & Fried Shrimp Plate along with an additional order of 1lb boiled shrimp. Told them to make it spicy. None of us like hard-boiled egg, so they substituted an additional corn. Their garlic butter sauce is very good. Fresh seafood cooked to order, it only took them 15-20mins to prepare. Just a tad off highway back in a real neighborhood, f and f is the real deal. Priced right - two shrimp meals... I/4 lb boiled; 1/2 lb fried. Sides generous. Clean but all outside picnic setting. Only drawback is no public restroom. So... get your business done at the highway and head in 2.6 miles to a great crab, shrimp dinner! read more

Today, January 17th, 2023, I got the Snow Crab and Shrimp special and I have never felt so ripped off. The crab clusters were hollow, with almost no meat. Leg after leg I popped open only to find a tiny morsel of meat. For the price I paid, this was a major ripoff!!!!! They should check their seafood before serving it. It'll be a long, long while before I eat there again. read more

We are in the area vacationing and happened upon Fat &Fine Crab Shack, and boy are we glad we did!!! Everything was incredibly fresh! My shrimp was lightly battered and cooked to perfection! My two sides I chose were coleslaw (homemade and very good!) and French fries (battered and freshly made). My husband had the boiled shrimp platter and added a cluster of crab legs. He couldn't stop raving about his!! This isn't a place to miss!! We're going to stop again before we leave! read more

I had the snow crab and shrimp with all the fixings. They have a few different ways of spices to have theirs cooked. I think I went with what I would say is regular. I was very impressed.
