Bone that caused my husband to choke.

Just ordered Birria tacos and A burrito with an agua fresca paid 45$ just for me to get TWO salsa's when I ask for a third they want to charge me. Second they left a SHARP SMALL BONE in my birria taco. My husband almost died literally. Was choking for 5 min straight. Third their consomé tasted like water/ menudo juice. Idek man I had high hopes. Just for it to be ASS . Agua fresca was good . Regardless if the meat is being cooked with bone. QUALITY CONTROL IS A REAL THING all restaurants are supposed to abide by. Please do better, not just for me but the safety of your customers. NEVER have I had a quesabirria with an accidental bone. In the US or in MEXICO.

    Chilaquiles in red sauce

I came here for the chilaquiles, and they did not disappoint! The chips were perfectly crispy yet soaked just right in the sauce full of flavor without being soggy. The red sauce had that rich, homemade taste with the perfect level of spice. Topped with fresh crema, queso cotija, and 2 perfectly cooked eggs. This dish hit every note. Service was friendly and fast, and the whole place had a welcoming, authentic vibe. I'll absolutely be coming back whenever I'm craving real, satisfying comfort food. Highly recommend if you're a chilaquiles lover like me!

First time here. First of all very happy it's new owners! They were friendly and nice. I can't say the food was bad. The tacos had enough filling. The asada had no flavor. We didn'care for the salsa served with it. To spicy. Regular salsa would be nice. The AL Pastor was good but not outstanding. The shrimp taco had no flavor at all. I didn't care for the two sauces served with it at all. They charge you for chips and salsa. Unfortunately we probably will not be back. Restaurant was clean. Service was nice.

So it's a quiet place. At least when I visited. It's one of those spaces that is kinda hidden. Not downtown. The service was very friendly. I ordered at the counter and was served my meal. It was Caldo de pollo. I really enjoyed it and appreciated the way it was served. The homemade tortillas are really good. I will try again sometime.

    Breakfast tacos and potatoes

The food here is solid Mexican fare. I had the breakfast tacos. I loved that they made fresh corn tortillas and that they added the grilled Mexican cheese on top My husband had the menudo with hominy and it reminded him of his Grandmas The Agua de Jamaica is not from a bag,and I appreciate that it wasn't too sweet. Definitely going to be back to try the green chicken pozole and the enchiladas.

Small bowl of Menudo con Pata, no hominy

Visiting Paso and found this spot. Food was good, I ordered chorizo, came with beans and papas. My husband ordered chilequiles verde, came with chile verde. He liked it, but wished they had sauce on top. And the chilequiles were made of chips.. we also ordered a small bowl of menudo con Pata, it was just ok. Menudo didn't come with hominy and it lacked flavor. The best part was the homemade corn tortillas and fresh orange juice. Service was great, and everyone was friendly.

We visited as we were passing through Paso Robles and walked in and it was nice and clean. The wait was a little longer than expected but it was worth it. Ordered asada and pollo tacos with handmade flour tortillas, it was perfect and delicious! Will be back again!

Five stars solely for the amazing customer service experience!…read more CUSTOMER SERVICE: It was my birthday and I was in Paso for the weekend staying at a hotel. Everything seemed to be closed early on a Sunday night, except for Tacos Valle! We were so hungry. I called around 10:45 pm and please forgive me, because I forgot the name of the wonderful person who did this amazing thing... When I called, I asked if they do delivery, but it's a food truck, so they don't. Who I spoke to offered to drive us our food personally! That was the nicest thing someone could do, especially that night! I placed the order stressing EXTRA CHEESE on everything. I'd pay. I gave the person who dropped the order off a very generous tip of 70%. I appreciated the amazing act of kindness! FOOD: We ordered an ASADA QUESADILLA, NACHOS WITH CHICKEN, TACOS AL PASTOR, and QUESABIRRIA TACOS with CONSOME. I have to be honest, because that's what a review is about. The food had great flavor, but was extremely salty in my opinion. Sadly, there was no consome included, the nachos came with "nacho cheese sauce" and chicken with chips that did not taste homemade, the quesabirria had almost no cheese, as well as the quesadilla. The last thing that was a bit odd, was they didn't have any guacamole or sour cream to purchase. I feel awful for saying anything negative about the food, however, it just was not enjoyable to us personally, mostly due to the extreme salt content. Maybe it was an off night! OVERALL: I am still giving a 5 star review, because the customer service was stellar! Above and beyond! For that, I would 100% recommend trying the food for yourself!

The restaurant is right in the heart of downtown Paso Robles, making it an easy stop if you're exploring the area. We had reservations through OpenTable and arrived a little early. They seated us within a few minutes, and although outdoor seating was available, it was around 97°, so we were happy to wait for an indoor table. The inside has a really cool Spanish hacienda vibe with rustic wood beams, warm lighting, and plenty of unique décor to take in. It's a fun space with lots of character and is connected in the back to the tiki bar next door, making it easy to continue the evening with a drink. The atmosphere was lively without being overly loud, and we really enjoyed the classic '80s music playing softly in the background. The oysters were fresh and very good. My wife ordered the ceviche and enjoyed it. I had the hanger steak salad--it was decent, but I'd probably skip the beets next time and order something different. Overall, the food was good, but it didn't quite rise to the level of "great." Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Overall, Fish Gaucho is worth a visit for its downtown location, unique Spanish-inspired atmosphere, and solid food. While there are probably stronger culinary options in Paso Robles, we'd happily come back to enjoy the ambiance, check out the connected tiki bar, and sample a few different menu items.
