Migas & Egg with guacamole!! The best
    Meg F.

There is a reason this is an award winning taco place. The food is always incredible, the staff is so incredibly kind and hard working, and the interior is always clean and well cared for. The Migas tacos are my go-to. I like to add guacamole and a little red and green salsa to take up the heat a notch! The tortillas are fresh, the eggs are perfectly scrambled, and they never skimp on ingredients. The bean & cheese tacos are perfect, too. Simple and delicious!

Tacos n Salsa is a must-have if you're in San Antonio and in need of breakfast tacos. The corn tortillas are handmade at this location and the food always comes out hot and fresh. We haven't explored the lunch menu yet because the tacos are so satisfying. My husband gets the egg and bacon and I usually mix it up between the potato and egg, bacon and egg, bean and bacon, and the carne guisada. I really appreciate how full the tacos are - you could basically make two tacos from the filling of each one. The salsa bar is also plentiful and has a great variety from mild to spicy. Don't miss out! (I wish they were open on Sundays )

The breakfast tacos were great, between myself and my wife we had potato egg and bacon, bean and cheese and carne guisada. tortillas are so fresh but not overly thick. the guisada was flavorful and tender! definitely will come back. especially love their salsa bar!

Randomly came across this place and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I knew I struck gold seeing how crowded it was BUT customer service didn't lack and the line moved very quickly. I had a breakfast burrito and it was delicious!! Big and full just like we all like it, right? Lol. I will be coming back to indulge in some of their other menu items as well. Please swing by and try these guys!!

BEST BREAKFAST TACOS!!! Homemade tortillas. Homemade salsa. Eggs made the way you like. The employees were so kind, helpful. Service was amazing & quick even though they were busy. The price is right.. & so was the vibe. I know where to come now!

There is nothing better for a taco than a homemade tortilla and TNS is bringing them. So fluffy and soft, just like grandma, or in my case grandpa, made them. I had the chorizo and papas and it was filled to the brim! My friends had a chicharon and a huevos a la mexicana. This place is off the highway with construction but that is not stopping anyone. The place should have had a turnstile counter because they were coming in and out on repeat! That should tell you something. I would recommend.

Came in for some tacos and it was so good. Service was A plus. Tacos came out in a flash and the restaurant was so clean and new looking.

Tacos N Salsa is one of my favorite tacos spots in SA. They're good is always made relatively quick and absolutely delicious! My favorite taco is the carne guisada deluxe which is basically a carne guisada taco with a fried egg. My favorite salsa is only available on the weekends which is the avocado. The employees are friendly and efficient as well.

My 5 year old & I came in around 8am, right before a big rush. We were greeted by multiple employees and the man who took our order was kind enough to greet my son. Most people are too busy and just greet the group, which is fine too. The food was fresh & the portions were large. The restaurant was clean and sparkly. Would come here again :)

And anyone who know me, knows that I test a Mexican restaurant by how well they make a basic rice and beans side dish. This place passed with flying colors. To anyone who wants to try this location, I will recommend to order the Calle de olla for coffee. If you normally drink your coffee black then I do not recommend it because it is a bit on the sweet side. But they do offer regular pot coffee as an option. (The sweetness caught my mom off guard). Taste it before you add anything to it. I also recommend trying the small conchas-they came out warm and ready to eat! This was only my second time going to this restaurant but both times I have had good experiences. Parking is a little odd. There is parking in the front and parking in the back.

I decided to stay in the city longer to check out this place. This restaurant is huge and the wait was 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. We used our waiting time to stroll through the Mercado across the way. Once the table was ready, my friend got a text. I always wanted to try menudo every Mexican restaurant I go to. But not until I saw the sign on the back cover. This restaurant is under the same owner as Pico de Gallo. Omg. I just had their menudo the day before. No thanks. I decided to order fajita chicken salad. The portion was really small. The food only filled a half of the fried salad bowl. I asked to put cheese on the side. It may had it look more but I don't eat cheese as much. I was glad that dressing was on the side. Which was too salty for me. So, if the food was the same as other chain, we could have eaten there which was closer to the hotel. But I noticed the difference was the servers. Our waitress was cuter and very polite. My friends kept teasing her. She kept good manner and responded back with a smile "uhhh no". Hahaha.

The hostess was a little drab but as I was walked in to be seated, you could feel the upbeat mood. Note that if you're dining solo, they will push hard to seat you at a dark diner type counter to stare at the kitchen area even if you have a reservation, so don't give in unless you're starving and that's your last resort. The colorful decor hits you and you're transported. I ordered the "Mexican Dinner" with chicken enchilada, pork tamal, beef taco with beans and rice. Also had a side order of fresh handmade tortillas. Paloma to wash it all down. Everything tasted great. My server was excellent. Patient and helpful with recommendations. The mariachi band was fun and they roamed the restaurant and bar to play, so chances are that if they aren't singing at your table then they're nearby.

There's such a wonderful selection, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. As parents with notoriously picky eaters, we especially appreciate how accommodating the staff is - it's such a relief to know that our kids can also find something yummy with just a quick chat with the staff member. That really makes a difference for a family outing! And oh my goodness, the appetizers are simply fantastic. We couldn't get enough! I also have to give a special shout-out to the Carrajillo I ordered. It was such a delightful surprise - perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, with a lovely citrusy kick that made it incredibly refreshing. Definitely a new favorite drink! We're already looking forward to our next visit to explore more of amazing menu. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
