Ok havent been doing reviews for a while but this place was so good had to give them some kind words. I've tried alot of taco spots throughout LA, hard to say but this must have been some of the most well seasoned good quality burritos ive had In a while. Not all gritty and crap cuts like some places like to serve. The salsas were good they had a haberno which I loved, red sauce was good, guacamole salsa and a green all at a bar with radishes and pickled onions. Onion and cilantro you can add to your burrito cook keeps it open and lets you do it your own unfortunately they were out for me but will definitely be coming back. Fast service, generous portions of meat and fresh self serve condiments. What's not to like!? I enjoyed my carne asada mulita (fried quesadilla) very much. Only issue was that the paper plate got stuck to the food in some areas. All of my tacos were well packed with foil on top. They make sure to give you multiple plates so the oil doesn't soak through but I'd still be careful where you place the plates when you eat. Located right outside of Ralph's parking lot. I got the pastor Mulita, which is basically 2 tortillas, cheese and meat, pressed together so it looks like a sandwich. [Fri/Sat: closing times possibly 11:30pm or whenever they sell out of food]. These guys are serving up some delicious tacos, burritos, mulitas, quesadillas, cheese tacos, potatoes. Fresh juices and sodas available. Meat options: Asada, Al Pastor (on a vertical rotisserie), Buche (pork stomach), Cabeza (beef head), Lengua (Beef tongue), chicken, Suadero (chopped steak), Tripas (tripe); NO CARNITAS. I love this taco stand! Cool vibes: Super welcoming and a chill cool crowd mostly from the neighborhood. It's clean and just very good tacos. Drove by a taco stand canopy in Altadena and stopped by. My GPS had the address as 2583 Lincoln Ave Altadena, CA 91001 $2 tacos, a bit small tortilla but very meaty and filling. The carnitas was a little dry and could have been fried more to get crunchier. The al pastor was pretty decent and had a pineapple slice. I've been meaning to come by this place for a while, and I'm so glad I finally did! We had some visitors, one of whom is from Mexico city and we rook them here. She raved about the food! They serve Tacos, burritos, quesadillas, Aguas frescos Corn Tortillas for tacos are made fresh by hand. I tried Carne asada, pollo and al pastor tacos. The al pastor were excellent and the best of the options. We had 10 people there so between us we tried a lot of items and everyone agreed the al pastor was the best. Tacos are $3. The have rice & beans which were good. The Aguas were very good, horchata, sandilla, jamica were a very good. The group after us ordered quesdillas and they looked amazing. Finally we have REAL burritos in the hills!!! These might be better than the Mission burritos in the Bay fr. They are stuffed with meat and barely any filler. I copped the Al pastor carne asada mixto and added a bunch of that green avo sauce that gives it a nice creamy balance. Don't forget that or it may seem a little dry. Don't forget to add the cheese. Was $12 including tax and i couldn't be happier. I've been missing this type of grub so much since I moved to SoCal almost a decade ago. Coming here every week. Another reason for me to stay in LA county since SF is hella crusty now. read more
