Quite possibly my favorite burrito I've had this year! The only thing stopping this from being a 5-Star experience was the rice. IMHO the rice was pretty bland. Food is standard mid-range Americanized Mexican. Margaritas are tasty, but small and pricey. Location excellent. My MAJOR issue were the customers with dogs. Not all the dogs...have two dogs. It was the people who put their small dogs on the table. So unsanitary. Restaurant workers saw it and did nothing. I love my dogs, but they have no business ON the table. All of the tables were dirty. It was really cold in here also. Oddly enough frozen drinks we got didn't taste strong at all, I'm not sure how much or what liquor they even put in it. We ordered queso/chips as an appetizer for the table and the queso was really spicy. For my entree I created my own bowl, I was not a fan. The chicken was not advertised as mixed, I prefer chicken breast. Also, the bowl itself lacked flavor and wasn't fulfilling my taste buds. After we ate we had intentions on going upstairs to the "club" area, but when we walked in the staff apologized and was cleaning up. I rated this place pretty low because everything was a miss. I had a great time at this cute spot downtown West Palm. Everyone working was extremely friendly and helpful. With happy hour going until 8pm, I was really happy to partake in the hh specials going on. I had pomegranate margarita, followed by a cranberry margarita. Both were very good, not too sweet, and a decent happy hour price. My friend got the spicy margarita and said it definitely lives up to its name. I also tried the chips, salsa, and guacamole. Very warmly greeted and explained the two different sides of the restaurant. Full service/ quick service.. It's absolutely beautiful! Full bar great eclectic seating inside and outside! Ok I could have just had two orders of those yucca fries - they were literally that good. I honestly can't say enough about them. They were like melt in your mouth of a feel. Our second time here in one week and we love this place!!!! We came in during the day and sat at the bar/lounge. It's a good vibe and the drinks are awesome. You get a different vibe depending on where you are sitting in my opinion; There's the kitchen/bodega where you order your food (the service is insanely fast), the lounge/bar area(opens at 5pm and has TVs for games), the outside seating area (good views of clematis and the park), and the speakeasy/mezcaleria (opens at 8pm, DJ comes in at 9pm). The food is great and comes out within minutes. We tried the nachos and added steak, which were great!! My favorite item from their menu so far is the surf and turf burrito. The music is great and has a little something for everyone, which is a plus. The staff is probably what makes this place my go to at the moment. We had great service from Vanessa on our first time, and the second time Sasha made us feel at home!! I went for lunch with a friend who had been to a Miami location and loved it, so we were excited to try this one. He was hugely disappointed, having to send back his tacos immediately for being cold. Tepid, pre-made meat put into a pre-heated, now-cold tortilla. We saw several baskets being handed to a few customers while we ate, and it all looked standard to underwhelming. We had put money in the meter for one hour. We were back in the car in 20 minutes. If I had to sum it up in one word, it was underwhelming. There are so many good places for tacos and burritos, and the space Bodega rents cannot be a cheap, so I'm just surprised that it isn't better. My girls and I went for happy hour (5-8p) and here's a list of all the problems we encountered. 1st problem- they only had 4 girls working ( two making/delivering the food and two servers ). She made over 5 drinks and waited on tables before I had to go to her AGAIN and that's when the boss came over to us 3rd problem- we had items on our receipt that we didn't even order!!! And the boss wanted to charge us regular price for the tacos even though we came for happy hour! Thank God we had time stamps on when we got to the restaurant since we all texted each other on when we had showed up at the restaurant. 4th problem- 20% gratuity is always added during happy hour. So, it's basically not really "happy hour" per se, you don't save anything if your forced to pay the tip regardless. We had to pay over $26 tip for terrible service!
