I only gave this place 3 stars cause of their Micheladas... They are GOOD. The food is another story... Not what I expected. I got the nachos guey and the waitress came back with papas nacho guey. What ever... We kept them, they LOOKED good. The top layer was so good.. Not even half way done with this plate and the papas were drenched in water.. The bottom of the whole plate had water. So I've been going to the original TacosWay since they opened. When I was pregnant, I'd actually CRAVE their BurritoWay mojado. But now the quality has just gone down. I had shrimp ceviche and it literally TASTED SPOILED. What's worse is that they tried to mask it with cilantro. Needless to say, the pungent smell of mold (the kind that attacks your food after you've left it out in the heat) was completely overbearing. The meat in my tacos was undercooked, too. I finally had the chance to visit TACOSWAY, the place looks awesome, nice environment very cool people. But to be honest they are the worst tacos EVER. The salsa are water down, the meats have no taste. The price on this tacos are ridiculous, not even king taco charges this much. I'm from EAST LA and let me tell you I KNOW MY TACOS. I was searching for a place with Carne Asada Fries. I yelped some places & this one had decent reviews. I called in my order & went to pick it up. It's a small hole in the wall spot but we all know those sometimes have the best food! Anyway I got the fried & it was.....okay. I enjoyed it overall but I have had better fries to be real. Would I get fries there again? Ehh.. Most likely not. But I have no complaints about it, they give you a lot of fries & it's very filling I've just had better. Whenever I'm craving mulitas and don't want to head over the hill, I visit any of the TacosWay locations in the Valley. It's their specialty and instead of calling them mulitas, they're called "Tacos Way." I also ordered a side of nachos and thought they weren't that great and not worth the calories. I wouldn't order their nachos again. They also have french fries slathered in all their signature fatty goodness. Go for the Tacos Way con asada dude. Avoid the crappy food at Taco Bell if you can and come enjoy the slutty food awesomeness that is Tacos Way. read more

How have I lived in the valley for so long without knowing about this place? My fiance lives in the area and told me to pick up some tacos from there on my way to his place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I ordered three asada tacosway and a pollo burritoway with 2 bottles of coke. They gave me two bags of the freshest chips ever with some bomb guac and I loaded up on some of their salsa verde. SO YUMMY. I've pretty much been addicted to this place ever since. We came into tacos way today for a late dinner, we had a large party. Jackie the cashier was so rude and persistent in the fact that we should go to a different tacos way out of our way. As we ordered she continued to be rude and give us attitude. We had to repeat the order to her a couple times. In the middle of our order she walks away from us and told the cook to take our order. After repeating our order once again she still asked us what we ordered. She was constantly rolling her eyes and raising her voice at us. We asked for horchata and as she was filling up the cups she sticks her fingers inside the cups, as we asked her to change the cup she rolls her eyes and gets upset. Toward the end of this horrible interaction with Jackie, we paid her and she pretty much throws the money in our hand and the change falls everywhere. We comment on this and she has the audacity to say that we were the ones who dropped it. If I could rate this Tacos way I would give it less than 1 star. You would think they would try to treat the customer well after spending close to 100$ with out alcohol here. The customer service was outrageous. If you want to be treated poorly I would recommend coming here, if not there are other places where you can get good customer service and good tacos. read more

Just WOW honestly this food is just good. The only great tacos I've ever eaten in my life were from Sonora Mexico. And to be honest these tacos here at Tacoway, they hit the target well. In not saying there the same but they bring back memories. The location here is pretty small, but it's worth sitting next to a stranger. Always good to make new friends. The service is whatever's not the best but you don't come here for their service. I order one Tacos way signature taco(which I highly recommend the carne asda one) topped with guac, cheese, salsa, cilantro, and onions. Great combo in my opinion. Also tried there burritos as well. Place setting was deff nice had a good vibe ! , waitress/bartender was very friendly out going a little slow on service even tho they weren't that busy but we weren't in a rush. Food was good. Only complaint we have was the drinks may be over priced . We got our micheladas & were pretty watered down , also i guess they were out of shrimp so they gave us our drinks then a couple min later they brought us shrimp in a separate cup . i wouldn't complain on prices if they would come up as requested . but maybe it was just a one time bad impression. I am first generation mexican and I approve these tacos. This place is crammed into a small location. It is not fancy and it is probably not safe to be here alone but it does have great tasting mexican tacos! Im from Texas and wanted to see how the taco scene stacks up to us. I was impressed. We ordered the al pastar, chorizo and carne asada! All equally delicious! The tortillas were small, just like you can find with street vendors in Mexico. The toppings were on point and everything about them was just great!!! I was even mad that I had wasted my stomach space on the papasway. Awesome Mexican joint. The tacosway is a delicious variation on your normal taco. It's like a taco sandwich filled with meat, cheese, onions, guac, and cilantro (or whatever else makes it taste so good) grilled to perfection. Yum! The nachos and papasway (with french fries) looked awesome, too. They still also do normal tacos and burritos if you want something more traditional. Good quality asada. Nothing special the location is kind of hidden and very small on the inside I think they only have like 4 tables. I do not recommend you go with a big group. I wanted to try this place because of all the hype on Instagram and it happens to be close to job. My husband and I decided to stop by yesterday we ordered a steak quesadilla and papa's way fries we payed almost $20 and the quesadilla didn't even come with any sides. The portions are pretty big however based on the taste they are way over priced the meat is way too greasy and doesn't have any flavor the order of Papa's way was an even bigger disappointment it was gross idk what they put in it idk if it was the cheese or the sauce but I didn't care for them at all. Tried this place based on yelp reviews. I ordered the chicken "tacosway" style. The food: My first bite had me reminiscing of when I used to live in San Diego back in the 90s and Mexican food was not as prolific as it is today. There is a specific season/taste that this place cooks into their food. It tastes authentic but when I got to the cheese it seemed to me that the nostalgic flavor dissipated somewhat but was still a good burrito and gigantic! I ordered a jamacia and it was a bit warm but good. The physical location: the location is not street visible and shares a common with a 7-11 store in a shabby strip mall. The parking situation can be interesting. The service: The service was fast, friendly, and above my expectations. The lady who took my order brought my food out to me when it was ready.
