If I could give this a no star rating , I would ! Horrible service and delusional management Went to get a quick bite and some drinks with my girlfriend and I have never experienced this type of service at a bar , never have a seen a professional bartender take shots while working , this makes sense since this bar isn't close to the definition of that. The girl , heidi, that attended us , never once looked to the corner of the bar to see if we needed a refill at least She was to busy dancing to every throw back that came on and serving her friends , mind you , the place ain't that big so that's hard to believe she missed ya but common sense isn't to common. Her partner , taking a shot as I return to my seat and I regrettably catch his attention and I ask him for a jager bomb , he comes and I can tell he is buzzed by the way he was pouring my shot into the glass , the shot had more drink than the cup with Red Bull , I then ask the "manager" Mario to assist me and he asked the guy to get me a big glass and more Red Bull , which was a little to much cus I just wanted to bring to his attention that home boy was drunk but he said they are allowed to drink so that shocked me more than anything, yet he noted how rude he was towards me when he told him to get me a bigger glass and he was slurring words. Point is , I wasted $50 dollars on food that was really good , but staff was horrible and how you treat people is what makes them come back or not. read more

I've been here many times and I would say the security guards here are unprofessional now. My roommate was unable to get in because of dress code. First it was his shirt and when we found him a shirt, security guards didn't let him in because of his shorts. (They could have stated both desire demands) We comply and found a pair of pants to wear. When I requested the male security guard's name - he didn't not comply. After checking my ID first time, he decline me from going in the second attempt with all appropriate validation. I requested the companies name - the male security guard didn't comply. He brought over a female security guard and same thing. She didn't address my concerns or questions. Unprofessional on their behalf. We comply with our dress code and was able to get it in. I spoke to the manger and supervisor from this Franchise - they were awesome, addressed the issue and made me feel better about the situation. I stated my concerns and they listened The third security guard was really cool, he told me about the company they work for, I addressed the issue - therefore, Making this review . Tacos are pretty good. Bartender was a little tipsy and overcharged us. Good music. Cleaning the countertops here and there wouldn't hurt.

The food here was soooo good! We got the papasway and nachosway and the portion was HUGE. The area is not the best and I did not like the fact that their music was very loud but the delicious food and service definitely makes up for it. I definitely will be coming back. read more

Drove an hour with the wife to have a some lunch but it ended up with diarrhea and bloated stomachs all night long. we ordered the cali way burrito and torta way with carne de pastor. to our disbelief there was an insane amount of grease. i couldnt even pick up the burrito without it falling apart. i would expect to have a good meal for paying a premium price. we definately wont be coming back in the near future. soo much for the high expectations on instagram. read more

First time trying this location but it was on accident because I went to the one on Tampa I ordered carne asada nachos and a carne asada burrito. Not sure if it was because we went to the other location instead so it took us more than 15 min but my nachos were soggy and it was way too much cheese. The burrito was smaller than the other location. They were closing though so maybe that's why? Disappointed but still love tacos way. Might want to go to Tampa location instead. read more

Soooo... I got 5tacosway and 4regular tacos from this place . Spent like 45 dollars or so ...so the quality of the food wasn't all that great .. my tacos were falling apart .. I don't know what happen to the tortilla and how they cooked the tortilla, but I couldn't even lift the tacos with out the tortilla breaking ... my tacos turned into a salad pretty much . I was disappointed because I'm Mexican and I've never had my tacos fall apart like they did that day. Maybe next time they won't do that ? read more

First of all coming to this place I did not realize what precious hole in the wall I was about to walk into. Upon arrival I thought hmmm nice taco spot, clean! Then I took a left and wow there it was this cute cantina that takes you in with an edgy glamour, and you forget you're in a taco place in the middle of canoga park . The food, it's the real deal Mexican food and I'm Mexican so I know what I'm taking about. Service was very friendly and fast. Good food, good (and weird) drinks and environment on the whole. Service is pretty slow like other people have yelped but the staff have always been friendly however not talkative or anything. I'm a chatterbox but talking all the time just isn't everyone's thing so I'm not gonna hate on that. I don't think this place is that special or different really from any other Mexican food place in LA (except for the bombass places) but I would still recommend it as a place to drop by for some grub. read more

Flavorless meat, salsas were definitely watered down and the burrito we ordered had a ton of beans and rice. I thought I would be able to add some flavor by adding salsa, but nope! Nice little joint for a few quick tacos. Divey if you ask me. Only a few tables. You order at a counter. All the basics you'd expect. Highlight is the price. SUPER CHEAP. If you're in a hurry for a tasty no frills taco it's okay. They have a really nice bar attached to the joint. The big ticket item is the Michelada! They have a super awesome one. This place is great! The staff is cool, the drinks are decently priced, the staff is nice, and the food is amazing. It's just really small and tries to be too "club-y" for what it really is. I'd recommend coming here for some tacos in the late afternoon before the music gets really loud and you have start yelling at your friend who's sitting right next to you. read more

This review will be for the TacosWay Cantina, which is adjacent to The TacosWay restaurant. It's not often that I visit this side of the valley but when I do end up in the area again, I will unquestionably visit the business and the cantina. I haven't been here in years. I was told that we would be hanging out with friends for a birthday celebration. I was informed that this would take place in the Cantina portion of the business. Last long visit took place over two years ago. TacosWay was just a small spot before taking over an old former bar that was next door. Now, it has combined the old former bar into one big location. The Cantina provides a fully stocked bar in which you are able to order food and drinks directly from the bartenders. Of course you can order up those tasty hooked up micheladas that everyone craves for at the bar. During weekend nights, they turn the Cantina into a small club/lounge, in which they also provide a DJ who gets down on their mixes. My most recent visit took place on the night of 7/1/2017, in the late night. I sat directly at the bar and was greeted by the very great Alexis. Barbara, the second bartender, then joined in, and no, this wasn't a 3way (*Insert LOL emoji*) . They both were really great and deserve to be acknowledged for their great customer service. So I have confirmed the owners son is officially an asshole and has no consideration for the customers. I went to get lunch their today and he was rude as hell to me because he read my review. He suggested I no longer purchase anything at this restaurant, so I canceled my order and walked out. So watch out for the asshole who doesn't give a shit about his customers or what they think of him. I feel sorry for his dad who is the nicest person and knows how to run a business. Thankfully I will no longer work in this area and will never come back to this business. Good food though when you get the full serving. Came in earlier today and got Carne asada tacoway, papasway, and a burritoway. (Not just for me I shared with my boyfriend!) Their tacoway hands down were good but the other 2 *yuck* the papasway were so soggy from the oil and bland nacho cheese ..it was literally drenched and soupy, and the burritoway....the meat to everything else ratio was not good. The meat was really tough that i spit out most of it. The burrito was full of beans and sour cream it couldn't even stand up straight and because they didn't grill the tortilla so it tasted soggy. I've been here twice now and have tried their "must haves" including the nachos way the first time and just like the papasway it was soggy( I ate those in the store.)I think they should fix up their recipe a little and use real cheese vs the nacho cheese.... I came here with a friend on a Monday night. We sat in the bar area and ordered two Guana? Margaritas. The margaritas were fairly light in alcohol. We ordered asada fries and a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp cocktail was really good and the asada had amazing taste. The fries were cooked to perfection. The sour cream and guacamole were ok. We ordered more margaritas and they were the same fairly light. The service was fairly poor, as there was only us and another table along with a friend of the bartenders. The bartenders was not very responsive for the amount of tables. Overall, the food would have gotten 5 stars, the service 2.5 and the drinks 2.5. read more
