They offer 4 tacos as their options, and they definitely make them in a huge batch because the first 2 we received were almost cold. We asked them to warm up our next two tacos. The drinks here are good; actually, I really enjoyed their Michelada. The last two tacos consisted of a breakfast one and one with Brussel sprouts, both of which I did not particularly enjoy. The first two were good - both meat options for those two. Their frozen margarita was good, just a little too sweet for my liking. FYI, they do not provide tomato juice on the side of their Michelada, and you can't ask for hot sauce here unless you are willing to pay $3 to $5. They add gratuity to the bill, so if at the end, you can opt to pay an additional tip if you'd like. Service is a little slow, so for a 90-minute time limit, beware if you have a big party. Celebrated Bottomless Brunch for tacos and drinks and it was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the Make Your Own Margarita bar. You can't go wrong with the frozen mango margarita. The tacos they offered for bottomless brunch were breakfast, chicken, al pastor and cauliflower. Everything tasted delicious, but the crowd favorite was the al pastor. Biggest shoutout to the manager Dragona and our server Sasha - they were simply the best! We can't wait to go back because they have a great outdoor space for the warmer months. A nice taco spot in midtown! The guacamole was creamy with big chunks of avocado. There was a generous portion of guacamole disproportionate to the chips. The fish taco was tasty and well fried. Made a reservation for outdoor seating on a Saturday at 7p. I really was hoping to sit on the second floor but they didn't have space and ended up being out in the street, which was fine. Oh my taco. We came here for a birthday brunch after discovering it on tiktok (*sigh*) but it turned out to be one of the best bottomless brunch options I've been to. First off, the service was amazing and our glasses or plates were never empty for the full two hours. Not only are the tacos bottomless but they're actually delicious. The Brussels sprouts taco seriously wowed us all. As one of the few places seating big parties right now there is a max of ten people and a tip is automatically added but it's so worth it because the tent set up essentially allows you to have a private space with full length dividers from ground up. If I could give zero stars or even negative stars I would due to my experience today. A family member of mine's comes here pretty often but today the manager or I believe it's a new manager who goes by the name EMILY MCLOUGHLIN, Was completely and utterly rude to me and my other attendees. We were here on April 20, 2021 having a good time and then out of know where we had our bill slapped rudely (which we did NOT ask for...) onto our table by her, ( not even our kind, and respectful waitress), without anything to say, but telling us to have a "good day" then running away.. meanwhile we STILL had half eaten FOOD and barely empty DRINKS on the table so basically we weren't nearly finished. I am utterly disappointed, disgusted and confused as to why she did this given the fact that we are FREQUENT customers. Another disappointment was the fact that we were the first ones to get there and we asked to be seated upstairs (with a reservation) because that's our usual spot and she told us that we CANNOT sit up there, because it was "SUPPOSEDLY" booked. Keep in mind when you book a reservation online, there's only two options "Restaurant & outside"... Then a few minutes later another group of women came up WITHOUT (YES THE CONVERSATION WAS OVEHEARD BY US) a reservation and asked to be seated upstairs and she gave them to seat up there, no hesitation and no questions asked (I wonder why??). Honestly can't believe how we were treated and I'm very upset that this has happened to me and I'm not sure if I should come here again. I hope this problem is addressed and something Is said to her because she's very RUDE & has a very rudimentary way of being. She honestly does not deserve to work in the restaurant industry PERIOD. Finally getting back to NYC to see my friends/family now that COVID is getting slightly under control. Many of us have been vaccinated. One of the must to-dos was have unlimited brunch/mimosas with my crew. One of the crew found TacoVision (TV) who serves unlimited tacos and mimosas for 90 mins at $40 each. Of course I was super excited sounded like what I had imagined. Scenery was great, they sat us in time and the tacos were good. However I think the menu could be a slight misleading since it did confuse some of us. The unlimited tacos is reserved for 4 tacos only however you can order off the remainder of the menu but not included in the unlimited. I would highly recommend doing the margaritas original or frozen not the mimosas or Bloody Mary. I had the mimosas which was literally orange juice and slightly bitter. We mentioned that to our waitress who couldn't stand still long enough to listen to us. Then my friend switched to the Blood Mary which I don't drink and mentioned it's a mix however it's just that. A splash of vodka and a glass of mix. With there being a 90 min limit it was so difficult getting our waitress to come back maybe she had to many tables. Literally soon as we sat down she's like what do you want unlimited! Yes yes yes and I'm like can I please look at the menu. We have unlimited everything which do you want? Literally she was talking/rushing that she was about to bring me pork tacos which I don't eat pork and another friend is vegan. There was a few times "Maria" stayed away for so long that our glasses are empty and tacos are done. One of my friends had literally a sip or 2 left in her glass and she said she can't give her a refill until she finishes that sip. I was completely ready to go at this point. Anyway not the experience I wanted, we ended up leaving and going to another spot. They don't come to your table quick enough however once the 90 mins are up they pop up quickly. The tacos here are great so no complaints on tacos nor margaritas but the other things along with service needs work. Slow down Maria and listen to everyone. read more

My fiancé and I were thrilled to see Tacovision open tonight! I have walked past it a bunch over the pandemic and thought for sure they were closed forever. Indoor and outdoor seating available, we asked for first available seating, and got placed outside. Can't wait to go to the margarita garden another time! We ended up choosing to eat inside and the music was school R&B and the decor was on point. We opted to do bottomless tacos and drinks . There was pork, chicken and veggie tacos. I only liked the pork one and I rarely eat pork but I had to find a taco on the bottomless menu I could enjoy. The mimosas were okay. It was strong which I appreciated. Tl;dr one star off because hostess was rude, another off because tacos tasted like leftovers. I took my friend to their Tuesday taco night because I had good experience having brunch with my husband at this place when it first opened. We got there early, before 6, so it wasn't very busy and there were a lot of empty seats. There were two hostesses at the door. When we asked for a table, preferably on the second floor patio, for whatever reason, the petite hostess decided we're not worth her time so she threw two paper menus at me and said we can go upstairs ourselves. Upstairs we went. When we were wandering around on the second floor looking for a seat, said hostess chased after us and appeared really irritated with "how dare you guys check out the patio" written all over her face, who then scolded us in front of all staff and guests that we didn't follow her order and yelled three times, "I said at the bar I said at the bar I said at the bar", all whilst we were stunned and speechless. Dude, it's not even 6 why you so mad. Maybe take us to our seats as a hostess does next time? At this point I thought, this is embarrassing enough but the blue tortilla tacos were sure to impress. So we obediently took the bar stools. What was to come quickly proved me wrong. The pork was charred to the point of no flavor but bitterness. And the chicken tacos were heavily dressed in pickle slices but even the strong pickles couldn't cover the taste of stale meat that is meant to be thrown away. Yuck! This reminds me of the great Anthony Bourdain's book Kitchen Confidential, in which he confided that chefs will never eat sushi on Mondays even at three star restaurants because the fish is most definitely leftover from the busy weekends.
