    Jjajangmyeon (Jjajang myun)

Jjajayeong myeon from Tada was so delicious! It came pretty far for delivery, but was still decently hot when it arrived. The noodles stuck together as expected, but if you just add a little water (tip from the owner!) and separate out the noodles with the chopsticks it easily comes apart and remained the perfect level of softness. The portion of noodles they gave was massive and enough for me and my roommate to share. The black bean sauce came with large chunks of pork, onion and cabbage and was very flavorful. Don't forget to eat it with the pickles it came with on the side!! Absolutely delicious and worth a try Follow me on instagram @eatenbysteph

Tada Noodles is a ghost kitchen so you'll want to order for delivery (took about 45 minutes to arrive)! I wanted to support a local business and there isn't really much Korean food in the LIC area so I had high hopes! Luckily for me Tada Noodles did not disappoint. I ordered via their website directly to, hopefully, save some fees for both the restaurant and myself. But, they're available on a number of other apps for delivery such as Uber Eats. I got the Jjajangmyeon, seafood jjampong, sweet and sour pork, and the fried chicken (so most of the menu). Every item was delicious and the jjajangmyeon and seafood jjampong servings were very generous. My favorite was probably the chicken - super juicy! The delivery was prompt and the guy who answered the phone when I called to confirm was very friendly. Will definitely be ordering from Tada Noodles again!

I was excited to try Tada noodles especially because jjajangmyun is not common in the Sunnyside area. For the price I paid, sadly it was not really worth it. jjajangmyun (2/5) If you are familiar with what Korean-Chinese jjajangmyun tastes like, the sauce here - it just wasn't good. Took a few bites and moved on to the next. jjampong broth (1/5) it just didn't taste like jjampong at all. No seafood flavor, not spicy - it tasted like chinese takeout hot and sour soup flavored with something else. My bf and I both tried a spoonful and just put it away. tangsooyuk (2/5) The sweet and sour sauce had a familiarity to it but did not have the crunchy outer coating but overall was just okay. kkanpoonggi (3/5) this was probably the best of what we ordered. Flavor was good but also missing crunchy outer coating. spam fried rice (2/5) paid an additional $1.50 for spam, opted for no egg bc it was an additional $1.50 for fried or $1.00 for scrambled which I thought was odd because fried rice at the bare minimum comes with some scrambled egg. It tasted okay, but the slices (not chopped) of onion, carrots and huge chunks of spam kind of took away from what I consider to be fried rice not to mention the big chunks of spam made a few bites a bit too salty. I think the place has potential but definitely needs improvement.

This is not your average Korean Chinese JJa Jang Myeon and JJam Pong you would typically expect. The JJampong consisted of mostly spicy oil and ginger (which is not similar to other Korean Chinese restaurants). The JJa Jang Myeon (pork) which is usually the standard food item on a Korean Chinese restaurant menu had a very empowering pork scent, which was difficult to consume. Sadly for the first time in my life, I had to dispose the food. To reiterate, this place is NOT your typical Korean Chinese restaurant.

Food was alright. But I requested the delivery instruction saying " please call and DON'T ring the bell." And the bell rang like 5 times. If the information is not even gonna be passed to the delivery person, why ask?

Tada noodles is absolutely worth it! The sauce coats the noodles so well, with every bite you can taste the sweetness of the sauce. The fried pork was crispy that is offset by the sweet and sour sauce; perfect compliment. This is the perfect meal for any weather! ** We ordered on 2/7/21 for a 4:30pm pickup when it was snowing into the afternoon. When we got there, the owner greeted my husband and I and told us they were waiting for us. They were planning to close for the rest of the day due to the weather, not only did they turn away our order, but they waited for us to arrive and made sure the food was made fresh when we came. Just want to give a big shout out to the owner and the staff for the dedication during this time!!

YUM! I ordered jjambbong and tangsuyuk. Photo is showing lots of veges but it came with tons of seafood. Tangsuyuk was a bit salty to me but stiIll very good. Other places would charge $30 for this quality of tansuyuk so can't complain! I'm glad I found this spot, can't wait to try jjajangmyun and dalgona next time :)

Just ordered from this place, searching for Korean comfort food and was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Their jajangmyun (black bean noodles) was delicious and loved the Musubis. Everything was made and packed with care! Thank you, Tada! Also they have my favorite Korean canned drinks: sweet cinnamon punch & rice punch)

I wouldn't recommend the Karaage, and heres why. Traditional karaage is usually double-fried, resulting in a light, cripsy exterior and ;juicy interior. Unfortunately, this version was quite oily, with a thick coating that seemed undercooked in some areas. The chicken itself is greasy and overly salty, which took away from the experience. In fact, I would rather have chicken nuggets from McDonalds than order the karaage here again. 3 stars.

And then they also have some inventive fusion flavors, like chicken tikka masala ramen, which are also amazing. The Japanese curry is so good. I love getting it with pumpkin croquettes, but I've also gotten it with pork cutlet, chicken cutlet, with and without melted cheese on top, and honestly all combinations are great. The portions are perfect so I never leave feeling too full but I always leave feeling extremely satisfied. I've had the bao buns too, each type, and they're all so good. The beef gyudon is my favorite, but I've gotten it with teriyaki chicken too and that was also great. The waitstaff are pleasant, even when I bring my two screaming kids with me into their tiny restaurant, and they always have a smile ready. They don't even say anything when my 2 year old throws his entire cup of water on the floor. They just quietly come over and clean it up (while I apologize profusely), and they even bring a new cup of water over. Great place. I go at least twice a week. Couldn't love it more!

One bite is enough to send a novice spice eater to their grave. But that's why I love Xi'an Famous Foods so much. There is not a single item on the menu that you won't enjoy. I've tried a variety of dishes, all of which I've loved. Their pickled cucumbers are both refreshing and flavorful. Their thick flat noodles with your choice of meat are wonderfully saucy. Their dumplings, stuffed with either lamb, pork, or beef (you decide), were even more so drenched in sauce. Their "burgers" (not the American kind, mind you, so don't come here expecting something you can get from Shake Shack) had a satisfying flaky bread with wonderfully juicy cuts of meat. Sure, Xi'an Famous Foods is spicy, but it's not merely the type of spice that is all burn and no flavor. Xi'an's dishes are so full of umami that you'll crave days later. You can order at their register or self-service kiosk. There are only around 4 barstool/counter seats, so please note that this isn't necessarily a sit-down restaurant. You have the choice of less spice / regular spice for dishes than include sauces, but I opted for regular spice. The spicy & sour spinach dumplings definitely had a kick, but wasn't too overwhelming. The hand-ripped noodles were chewy and very filling. It did have bits of cabbage, but I wish there were more veggies to round out the noodles. It could definitely be split between two people - again, it's a VERY filling dish since it's 85% noodles.
