We chose this restaurant for dinner for my husbands birthday dinner during our stay at Treasure Island. We had originally set for a 7pm reservation, but ended up adjusting the reservation during the week to later in the evening as we fleshed out our plans. Even day of reservations for the Friday evening were wide open. We ordered for a appetizer the Spinach and Artichoke dip and it was fantastic! It was served with 4 dinner rolls (2 rye and 2 white), I feel like the could have had a different vessel but the dip itself was amazing and had fantastic cheese pulls! For dinner, my husband ordered the ribeye (Medium) and I ordered the sirloin (Medium rare). We also ordered the mashed potatoes and brussels as sides. The server asked if we would like any steak sauce and I said yes, however I never received it. My steak was overcooked, but our server was quite absent so I just dealt with it. My husbands steak was good, but not insanely good like I hoped. The mashed potatoes were a bit dry from what I expected. The brussels were good, but had a sweet glaze on them that my husband did not care for. Overall our bill was not too expensive and under $150 which we were delighted with. However the service was not what we hoped and really lacked for being the the flagship restaurant onsite. The entrance and interior makes is look like it will be an amazing experience, but the service didn't seem to align. read more

I hadn't been here for a number of years. I came with my late wife, probably 20 years ago, and we had an excellent meal. I was really anticipating a nice dinner. Said to say, I was pretty disappointed. I ordered the ribeye, medium rare. was cooked just fine, plenty of pink in the middle. The problem, is it just was not a very good quality piece of meat. It was tougher than a rib I should be, and they just was not the taste I would've expected for the significant price of the steak. I had a baked potato with it, and a salad, they were fine, but how do you screw up a salad or a baked potato? The bread that came with the dinner were unremarkable... they tasted like bakery rolls, certainly not fresh baked. The service was just fine, but when you pay that much money for a steak at a steakhouse, you expect that the taste of the steak satisfy you, even if it doesn't blow you away. I was not blown away, I was not satisfied. Disappointing. When the arrived, I mentioned to the server that the stake was pretty disappointing. Absolutely no effort to adjust the or even an offer to replace the was made. The server was absent while I was eating it, otherwise I probably would have sent it back. I don't know if this is a strategy of this casino restaurant to avoid losing money, but for what they charge, they should stand behind their products. read more

We had such a lovely dinner before a show at Tado Steakhouse. The steakhouse is a great choice if you're staying overnight or just playing a few games as it located inside the Treasure Island Casino. The setting was modern, clean and not overly crowded at all. Everyone we encountered was so nice! They start you out with a bread basket that had two different types of bread and butter. All the entrees include a salad but the sides are to be ordered separately. After the bread and salad I am very glad that I didn't order a side as my steak was more than enough! My porterhouse was cooked beautifully and was good. The best part of the meal for me however was the crab cakes. Very delicious and super reasonably priced. I've read some other reviews about the service being slow but that was not the case at all. The timing of everything was actually perfect and we can't wait to return! read more

"Jumbo" baked potato, for instance, cost extra but it was an average sized potato that was hard, as though it had been sitting in a warmer for hours. Steaks were ok, nothing special. We often eat here when we decide to test our luck at the Blackjack table. It's a more upscale restaurant in the casino. It always smells like a steak just got off the grill. That nice steakhouse aroma. Cozy booths and fireplaces can make this place a good date night. I often get steak but on my last visit, I tried the broiled shrimp. Eight shrimp plus a potato made for a hearty dinner. We split some broccoli as you get one side with the meal and we both wanted a veggie. Everything was cooked perfectly. Service was excellent. My only ask would be to dim a lights a bit to create a more intimate mood. read more

Pros: waitress was very friendly, food is always delicious, atmosphere is perfect ( it was a bit chilly, I'd recommend bringing something to cover your arms if you get cold easily) Cons: Our drink didn't come out until after we finished dinner, somehow our payment got mixed up with another guest and they called me to return to pay?. I absolutely love their French onion soup but the bread was stale and they forgot to give us bread before our appetizers came out. We really do enjoy coming to Tado for dinner, this time wasn't so great but that won't stop us from stopping in again. Just make sure you keep your receipt! read more

My Sister had the Shrimp Alfredo and it looked delicious. The shrimp in it was large and she loved how it tasted. I had the full rack of Ribs and it was mouth watering and so delicious as well. We came to TI to celebrate two birthdays. There were 8 of us and they were able to accommodate our group. The ambiance was cozy and relaxing. What I noticed was it wasn't that busy on a Saturday night so I was a little surprised but that's okay. The service was fast and our waitress was pretty awesome. I ordered the scallop in corn cream and it was so good! I was surprised how good it was. Overall, I tried everyone's plate and the best dish was the lamb. It was soft and savory! If I go back, that's the dish I'll get. I'd go back more if it wasn't too far but overall, great experience, great food, and great ambiance. read more

My wife and I had another absolutely fabulous meal at Tado Steakhouse last night. From the Hostess, to the manager who sat us, to our server Danielle, all of them were friendly, accommodating, and welcoming. Danielle's service was spot-on. She was one of the best servers we've had anywhere. One very nice thing about Tado is that the tables are all well-spaced out giving everyone plenty of personal space. You are not cramped in shoulder to shoulder like you are at a lot of places. That is a HUGE plus in our opinion. As to our meal... For our appetizers we ordered the Crab Cakes and Bruschetta Stuffed Cremini Mushrooms. Both were presented perfectly and were beyond-fabulous tasting. Be warned though, they are both very rich and filling, so.... On past visits we have also tried the BBQ Pork Belly app which also is fantastic. For her dinner my wife ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon for a second time. She said it was just as phenomenal as it was the first time she had it. Perfectly prepared and with an amazing seasoning / crust, it is a Salmon-lovers dream she says. For her side dish she had the Wild Rice Pilaf which was light and fluffy with an amazing seasoning blend. Very tasty. For my dinner I had the 12oz NY Strip with an add-on accompaniment of four Citrus Shrimp. My steak was quite well-marbled, especially for a NY Strip, and it was a solid 12oz for sure. It was seasoned perfectly with great flavor coming thru from both the seasoning and the quality of the meat itself. I ordered it Medium Rare, which can at times be a crap-shoot in many restaurants, but not at Tado. It was grilled to an absolute textbook Medium Rare and was unbelievably flavorful. The Citrus Shrimp have an almost Scampi-like garlic flavor and are very, very tasty. For my side I ordered the Au Gratin potatoes which were also very delightful, creamy, cheesy, and yummy. My only negative about them is that I think the portion size presented is a tad bit small. It could be a bit larger, imo. All in all it was a fabulous dining experience for us and we look forward to going back very soon to check out their new menu which we were told takes effect on Weds, March 5th. read more

Better than what I expected after reading all of the reviews. I intentionally didn't eat dinner here on my birthday because of the reviews and then decided to give it a shot the next day. Boy am I glad I did. The Filet, Oscar style, was great. Although the pieces of crab were small and somewhat scattered around the plate instead of topped on the steak. The béarnaise sauce was on point. My husband had the Ribeye and would recommend it and order it again. We had the calamari to start and that hit the spot. The service was great and their price point for the Moët Chandon was fabulous. The dessert was a plus and the bread basket was delicious... I ate the whole thing. I would definitely return here. Great meal and if I were to get the same thing in Minneapolis, it would've been way more expensive.
