Had a great experience since they remodeled the restaurant. Came in on a Sunday and although busy, the service was prompt. I ordered the Ruben sandwich while others ordered the blackened chicken, burgers and the club. All the food was great but the star of the show goes to the blackened chicken.

Came here for a random early dinner. We showed up around 4:15pm or so and it was pretty quiet. There was us and 2-3 other parties there. The restaurant space was very clean and according to something I overheard, they got new dining chairs. Our waiter was Scott and he was very friendly and helpful. We had a table by the window and it was a nice few of the putting green. They have a decent size menu. I ordered a half turkey sandwich with a couple of soup that came with a salad (probably should have gotten something more adventurous, but I was not very hungry and it sounds good). My husband got the Taco Salad. Initially I thought the prices seemed a little high, but I guess that is typically for restaurants nowadays. I will says the portions were good size. My meal came with a side salad as well and my sandwich had a decent amount of turkey on it. The clam chowder was yummy. My husband's taco salad was huge and came in a large taco shell. He said he would get it again. The food came bout fairly quickly, but then again it wasn't super busy. I would come back, I would be interested in trying their brunch.

    Vegetable pesto pasta missing ingredients

Food had good flavor but I'm disappointed in the missing ingredients on my dish. I ordered the vegetable pesto pasta and it says its made with mushrooms, onion, spinach, and topped with fresh cherry tomatoes. There was no spinach or fresh tomatoes.

Asian chicken salad - chicken seemed rubbery

Nice outdoor area at golf course to eat and relax, we ordered the pastrami reuben, asian chicken salad, and chicken strips for the kids. Reuben was very good with delicious pastrami (not corned beef), but asian chicken salad was so so. The lettuce and veggies were fine, but nothing really seemed "asian" except they added some crunchy "wonton" noodles i guess? The crispy chicken on the salad had this strange rubbery texture, as if it was imitation chicken, which is odd because the chicken strips for my kids were pretty good and looked like actual chicken. Overall, it was a nice spot to eat and drink, but I'd stick to their sandwiches and burgers rather than the asian chicken salad.

The corned beef hash isnt homemade it's from a non-perishable tincan. The corned beef hash did have a nice flavored crust on the surface. One thing I'll say is portions were big. I can see Yelm local coming here for their dine out breakfast. I enjoyed my plate Thanks Blake

Bacon hanging off the drink...says it all. Skip it.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! Why would they even bother operating a restaurant when it's so bad. I had a bad feeling about the place when the table was dirty and noone seemed concerned. As I tried to wipe off the mess it must have been there so long that it was embedded into the table! Service was trying yet obviously overwhelmed. I actually felt sorry for them. Came for breakfast and the coffee to start was weak and barely drinkable. The "Putt" breakfast wasn't much better. My eggs were runny and cold, the sausage greasy and quite disgusting. The red potatoes were so badly burned and hard that they could break teeth. Hardly had a bite of them. The only redeeming item was the biscuit, quite good, albeit cold and absolutely no butter to be found. One of my dining companions ordered a Bloody Mary and besides the unappealing color of the drink it had this absolutely ridiculous piece of bacon limply hanging off the side. So people said breakfast is better than dinner. Best I never return for either. Sad excuse for a dining spot. Perhaps stick to golf?

Do not come here if you are trying to catch a bite before you tee off. Takes an hour to get your food. Only 5 tables with people at them.

We've lived in Yelm, Washington for two years now, and we've given this place way more chances than…read moreit deserved. We've been here at least 5-6 times. The very first time, the owner was our server and the service was actually pretty good. The food was mediocre, but we figured we'd come back and give it another shot. Unfortunately, that first experience has been the exception, not the rule. We are huge wing fans and so naturally we ordered the wings. They were freezer burnt and they were the full wing the flat and the drum hooked together. We were not a fan of them. We've stopped in just for a couple of beers while waiting for our dog to get groomed next door, and even those visits have been uncomfortable. We've dealt with bartenders who were rude and completely unfriendly, and servers who seem to forget you're even there. We came here for Valentine's Day two years ago with a reservation, expecting a nice, romantic dinner. Instead, it was an absolute disaster. The staff looked completely overwhelmed, nobody seemed to know what was going on, our expense steaks were over cooked badly, we were ignored for long stretches, never offered refills, and the entire dinner was a huge disappointment. But we kept trying. Most recently, we brought two friends here because we really wanted to give it one more chance. We actually warned them not to have high expectations. Unfortunately, the service was just as bad. We were ignored, never got beer refills, and the food was terrible. Our friends left saying they never wanted to come back. Today, while waiting for our dog to be groomed, we stopped in for a couple of beers and ordered the JoJos from the happy hour menu. Six or so potato wedges that were overcooked and just not very good, with mediocre barbecue sauce and ranch. There is a new server here whom we've never had before, and honestly, she's been better than anyone we've dealt with here in the past. She's still pretty slow, but she is easily the best service we've had since that very first visit when the owner served us. And ironically, that same owner has completely ignored us every time we've been back and hasn't said a word to us since our first visit. At this point, we've tried enough times to know this isn't a one-off bad night. The service is consistently awful, the food is mediocre at best, and the prices don't match what you're getting. We genuinely try to support local businesses, which is why we kept coming back and giving this place another chance. But after six or so visits and multiple disappointing experiences, we're done. I absolutely cannot recommend this place. If you're looking for overpriced, mediocre food and consistently terrible service, this is your place! Otherwise, there are plenty of other local places that deserve your money.

I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. How in the world it could be ruined. The cook does not know what he is doing! Our hashbrowns were ice cold. My chicken fried steak was not fully cooked. It was the frozen patty like you can buy at Walmart in the frozen entry section. The middle of the patty was still ice cold. The gravy was from a mix and very runny. Big big big disappointment. We are from Tenino and this place didn't stand against Sandstone Cafe - even the coffee was cold. The service was crudy also. Had to ask for everything like a spoon, a fork, butter for the pancakes. I did not finish my breakfast but asked for a box 'cause the dog might want it! Don't bother with this place. I think the drinks at night are what they survive on! I rate this a one star - given for easy parking.
