It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. It was very very rich but lacked any salt so the flavor was sweet and fell flat. The crab cakes were mushy and tasted like nothing really. Also lacking any zest or salt. The filet was cooked perfectly, crab cake on top, covered with hollandaise, and came with mashed potatoes and salted vegetables. Hollandaise had no lemon flavor whatsoever and mostly tasted like creamy egg. We were not checked on one time after food arrived. Probably sat and ate for 35 mins plus. Finished our bottle of wine and waited. Overall, we were disappointed. This place had been on our list for a while now and ended up having a better experience at the wine shop up the street afterward.
