We go to Farrelli's in Yelm pretty often and really enjoy it! Most of the time, you'll find us sitting in the bar area, especially on Tuesday nights for trivia. It's such a fun, upbeat atmosphere, and the employees are always great to us. They recognize us when we come in, remember us, and always make us feel welcome. We are big pizza, beer, and wings people. Years ago, we actually owned our own pizza, beer, and wing restaurant, so when we moved to Yelm, finding a place where we could get that kind of food and atmosphere was important to us. Farrelli's has definitely become one of our go-to spots. The pizza is good, they have plenty of options if you're not in the mood for pizza, and we especially love the Korean wings. They also have a really good selection of beer, and it's always cold and good. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the trivia team rule. If you have more than six people on a team, you either lose points or have to split your team. We had been trying to get a big group of friends together to go and have a fun night, but it became such a hassle that we eventually stopped inviting people and just started going with a couple of people so we didn't have to lose points or split up. I completely understand having rules around team sizes, but it would be nice if there were a way to make it easier for larger groups to participate together. That said, we really enjoy Farrelli's and continue to go regularly. We've only gone a couple of times just for dinner, but we've been to trivia night many times. They also do all kinds of other events and activities, which makes it a really fun place to have in Yelm. Definitely recommend Farrelli's if you're looking for good pizza, wings, cold beer, and a fun atmosphere! read more

Service great! I got the gluten free crust pizza. Pizza crust so well done I want to recreate it at home. House salad with raspberry vinaigrette was absolutely delicious! I remember when this place was a Chinese food restaurant. They had great food and now this place is a wonderful addition with excellent food for the community. Keep up the great work! Farrelli's was always a favorite of mine. When they opened one in Yelm I was ecstatic. Our first half dozen trips were amazing, food was delicious and service was over the top. Then bam hit a wall. Food not great and service was awful. Got gift cards for Mother's Day this year and decided to try our luck again for date night. The food was amazingly delicious and the service was again spectacular. We got the family special, 16" pepperoni pizza, fire sticks bread sticks and 10 in bone chicken wings for only $50. The pepperoni pizza deserves 5 stars. Did a Hungry Family Meal Deal and everything was good. Firesticks, boneless wings and 2 pizzas for $75. Our server was solid. But, the overall service was a bit slow. The staff all seem relatively new, there were considerable amounts of people waiting to be helped by the door. Some people turned around and left. I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't sitting by the door, but it was a bit distracting trying to dine while many folx are waiting for someone to greet them and tell them what to do. read more

Was craving a NYC style pizza and according to Google, this place was going to be as close as we could get without going to Tacoma, so we ordered a simple half cheese, half pepperoni. It was delicious, hit the spot for sure. It wasn't exactly a NYC pizza but it was close enough and satisfied our craving! Delivery was quick too. As busy as this place was they got to us in a reasonable timeframe. They let me sample a few beers before I decided. I got fat and happy off of pizza and beer. I think we were the only southern rednecks in the joint, but we were also the only ones eating pizza with a knife and fork. I finished off a 12" and two 24 oz beers, by myself and typically I don't eat the crust. This crust is different. I ate the WHOLE thing. This crust was warm and crisp and fluffy all at the same time. The ambiance is geared towards family. Whether it's nobody wants to cook or baseball team's lunch. I've had pizza all over the U.S. and a couple places in Europe, this place makes the top five. It is on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I just wished there was more meat on the pizza. read more

Spaghetti has been around since the 13th century for a reason--it's a classic that doesn't need to be changed. While cavatappi might be a fun option, it shouldn't be forced as a replacement. Decided to try this location with the fam yesterday. It's the newest location for this pizza establishment located in Yelm close to the Medical Plaza, High School, corner lot. As we entered, we were greeted by a friendly young man, sat and he told my husband, "Happy Father's Day." Another young lady came to take our drink and appetizer orders. She arrived shortly with our drinks and mentioned that she would go look for plates and napkins for our coming appetizer. We waited for a little bit when the 1st employee (the young man) delivered our appetizer, which were farrelli's fire stix (their version of cheesey garlic bread with jalapeño cream cheese, red pepper flakes, and a firey sauce on top). He said he would grab us plates for the appetizer, too. So we waited again, and no one came with plates. I finally walked up to a different employee who looked flustered that I asked her for something we were waiting for, but it wasn't her fault. No fault on her. Then we heard loudly from another employee whom Im sure she asked for help with us and that young lady loudly replied, "Well I can't do it, I'm busy!" The employee who I asked arrived with plates, napkins, and spoons, and she was apologetic and nervous, but we all thanked her. Our original waitress finally came to deliver our personal pizzas, gave freshly grated parmesan on my son's pizza, and then left. We chose 3 different pizzas, the James Favorite, The Italia, and the Northwest Traditional. Not bad. Pizzas were better than the appetizer for sure. Im giving this place a 4 out of 5 because of the food and not the service. We did see that the general manager was walking about, but he never graced our side of the establishment. Things to improve: 1# Offer waters along with drinks 2# ask if someone who doesn't have a fountain drink if they'd like another drink or even a different option. It's okay pizza. Not the greatest. I got regular pepperoni pizza take out and it wasn't even warm and I came earlier than suggested to pick it up. If it was fresh out of the oven then it would have been warm at least but nope, seems like it was sitting there for way longer than the 45 minutes it suggested for pickup. This place may be a chain, but don't let that stop you from visiting. When I want a thicker, chewy, tender, savory crust on my pizza, with outside-the-box toppings, this is the place to go. I've dined in and taken away from this establishment on quite a few occasions, and I've never been disappointed. Wait staff is super friendly and seem to really want to be there; food comes out hot and timely and is delicious, and wine pours are generous. Favorite pizza by far is the Double Whammy with added Cheddar! That Mike's Hot Honey drizzle over the top puts this pizza into a class of its own. Favorite salads - Love their Chop Chop and Dad's Bacon & Cheddar Salads. We haven't yet tried their pastas cuz we just can't bypass our fave pizzas, but it's on the list. As a franchise company the taste never changes, however they have a monthly change of the month style pizza and never know what it might be. I enjoy the NW style pizza the most, but you can never wrong with the spicy Ahola BBQ Chicken, double whammy, blazin buffalo, james favorite, and the PNW cheesesteak. Pros- Great service, seated right away and we got to choose our table, happy hour prices are alright ($1 off beers and 25% off pizza and breadsticks) Cons- Flies inside, very basic flavors and mediocre food We ordered 2 appetizers: Firesticks- basic cheese sticks drizzled with buffalo sauce, served with ranch and a sauce called Blue Cheese but was absolutely not Blue Cheese, this was okay. Pub Pretzel with cheese- pretzel was frozen and then heated with poppyseeds and salt which was a weird combo and the cheese sauce was so plain and not flavorful at all. We ordered a Margherita Pizza- small diced tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and a drizzle of of balsamic- balsamic does not belong on a Margherita pizza and the tomatoes should have been sliced instead of diced, I thought the crust was too thin and crunchy but husband thought it was okay. My husband and I came here for date night and I was craving some wings. I didn't realize how not really spicy the wings were going to be. I thought they were ok, my husband enjoyed them; we got the original, shareable size (12). I think the biggest turn off in that dish for me was that my ranch tasted completely like mayo. It was very gross to eat with. My husband and I got the 16' Margarita pizza and it truly never disappoints in my eyes. Baby wasn't too happy though with the wings and "ranch" sauce, so by the time pizza came I honestly lost my appetite. I had maybe a small slice before my husband noticed I was getting pretty nauseous. We sat in the bar section just because there was lots of seating, but it kinda seemed like our waitress didn't really care about us. First time here. Visiting family in the area and was brought here for pizza and beer. We had 2 large pizzas, The Deluxe Combo and The Double Wammy. Bothe pizzas were great and I especially liked the fresh Parmesan cheese the added. I also had the Chop Chop salad withe fresh salami. I topped it off with a cold Georgetown Manny's Pale Ale. Ok we gave a bad rating for Farrelli's in Yelm before, and they gave us a coupon for a free pizza, which was good. Then when we went there yesterday the server asked if we had had a bad experience before and we said yes the pizza came to us just warm. The taste was fine but you want a steaming roof of the mouth burning pizza when it comes out. He said they were going to change our minds and boy did they! The pizza was hot, roof of the mouth burning hot! The flavor was excellent and the experience was awesome! Farrelli's Yelm, you have won us over and we thank you. A lesson learned was if you order a supreme topping pizza ask to have it stay in an extra minute or two long because there's so much toppings it takes a little longer to get that steaming hot pizza we all love so much. Unexpected evening meal with 3 kids who were expecting Zoo Lights but because it was sold out turned into pizza! They loved the kid's distraction pack of cheesy bread, carrots and dip, and a ball of floured dough - Grandpa liked it too! Then the pizza came and we were all impressed! Reasonable prices, excellent service (thank you David), and the night was saved.
