About 25 of us were here all at the same long table, which one would have thought it would be challenging for the server but Brittany just kicked butt and even though she had other tables she always came around making sure everything was good, refilling drinks and taking dessert orders from those who wanted them. Pricing of foods were good and I got chicken tacos that were really good and a root beer for under $19. One interesting thing is they tack on a "credit card fee," don't recall the last time I've seen that, and it was $0.86 based on my bill. If our group goes to preseason games in AZ I'm sure we'll come by here for food.

It was our first time visiting Bubba's 33, and I have to say, this place exceeded our expectations!…read moreWe ordered the Krispy Shrimp, Krispy Fried Pickles, a pizza, and a mocktail, and everything was absolutely delicious. The pictures truly don't do the food justice -- the flavors, portions, and presentation were even better in person. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, with screens throughout the entire space, making it a perfect spot to catch a game or enjoy a sports event with friends and family. What really stood out, though, wasn't just the food or the atmosphere -- it was the incredible customer service. Even though the restaurant was completely packed, the staff made us feel like we were their only table. They were attentive, friendly, and consistently checked in on us throughout our visit. When the manager found out it was our first time there, he personally came over to welcome us, gave us coupons for a future visit, and made sure we felt appreciated. That extra touch truly made an impression. It's rare to find a busy restaurant where the team still takes the time to make every guest feel valued, and Bubba's 33 absolutely delivered. The customer service was top-notch and really set this experience apart. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Great food, great atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality -- this place knocked it out of the park!

It was fairly busy, but we were able to find a few seats at the bar. Our bartender was pretty quick getting us menus and drink orders. We'd eaten a bit earlier so we passed on food. The menu does look pretty good with wings, pizza and appetizers. I was a bit bummed because they don't offer any sour beers or even ciders. The closest I could get was a seltzer. No white claw or anything, but a few flavors of Nutrl I believe it's called. They had of course hard alcohol and regular beers on tap. The location was clean, but could use a little upkeep. Service was friendly our entire time there and we chatted a bit about the bars history. It's been there a few years, changed names in the last couple years, and is separate from the motel though they do rent the space from them. Nothing too fancy but if you're looking for a little hole in the wall to watch a game or have a drink you may enjoy this spot. The lot is old and could use a clean up. It wasn't for me as they don't offer much I like to drink, but still a great option for someone to have a draft/drink.

The dining room is very spacious with many TVs and a pool table in the corner. While the food was "fine," the Happy Hour was actually solid if only typical. Your draft beers were $3, and we ordered a mixture of rum and cokes and an espresso martini. We also ordered some Happy Hour waffle fries and cauliflower "wings," which were over-fried, but the 14" honey hot pepperoni pizza was solid and made up for the appetizers. At the end of the day, the breakaway was a nice change from our typical rotation of places we visit. Did it break into the regular rotation? Probably not, but not because it wasn't a great experience with friends.

I love supporting local businesses but I dont think this place will stay open long if they don't make changes. The first time the server was nowhere to be found for almost 30 minutes. After we finally ordered we barely saw them the rest of the night. The second time, the hostess was very rude and didn't say one word during our entire interaction which was weird and off-putting. She brought us waters and slammed them on the table and stormed off. The other servers were dressed very unprofessionally. One was wearing huge baggy pants and had dirty unwashed hair. Our server was not very attentive. We ordered one of the only beers they had and were told it wasnt cold. We ordered ranch and they brought us out what was essentially a container of mayonnaise. I mentioned it to the server and she said she didn't like it either and that its always different. It's not that difficult to make ranch or notice how bad it is and fix it. There doesn't seem to be training or management very involved in caring about or implementing quality at this restaurant

Both were okay - the Mac n cheese alone is nothing special, but the hot chicken was great. The steak fingers were not our favorite - would not order those again. We will definitely go back - the service was great and it's a pretty cool spot. I think next time I'm going to try their hot chicken sandwich.

Absolutely unacceptable and honestly shocking behavior from security here…read more My friend went out for what should have been a normal night, and instead was met with completely unprofessional and aggressive treatment. Her ID had a small dent in it -- still clearly valid -- and instead of handling the situation appropriately, the security guard snapped her ID leaving it almost completely in half. Destroyed it. Then turned her away. That is not only disrespectful, it's completely out of line. Security's job is to verify IDs, not damage personal property. There are proper procedures for questionable IDs, and this was NOT one of them. No apology, no attempt to resolve the situation -- just unnecessary force and a complete lack of basic respect. If this is how they treat people at the door, I can't imagine how the rest of the establishment operates. I would strongly recommend going somewhere else where staff know how to handle situations professionally. I'm just curious - is the security guard now going to pay for her new ID?? This is OUTLANDISH behavior coming from a plain old Jane of a security guard. Clearly he didn't make the cut at the police academy...

However Aguilas took the cake for putting the Dive in Dive bar. We came in one weekend afternoon to shoot some pool after having run into the owner down in Rocky Point some time ago at his other nice bar with the same namesake. We also saw what he did to renovate the famed Nugget into a modern Mexican Cantina in Maryvale, so what could go wrong. First off the bartender who was a younger lady seemed more interested in her phone than taking orders and seemed a little bummed to work but I dont blame her I dont want to work. I can say the drinks were reasonable and they did have seltzer options for the wifey. The ambience was pretty white trash even for the westside and that's coning from white trash growing up on the westside. They do have two pool tables that were well taken care of but ac was spotty depending on where you stand. They also had smoking which was new to me outside of legion hauls and it got unbearable when two people lit up at once. However, the hypocrite that I am thought it was cool that I could vape like a teenage white girl without hiding it from the gestapo so kudos to them for pushing the boundaries. Nonetheless cigarette smoke is nasty and still dont understand why people think others want to huff their blow back. Maybe im allergic or something. Now from the rumor meal I gleaned that the owner has a dog that runs freely and I heard others brought their dogs. They do have a back patio where I saw a guy let the dog out to do his business, around that same time my wife found a dog turd in the corner of the bar which grossed her out. I gave a few thoughts about picking it up, but a man has to have a line in the sand on cleaning up another man or dogs crap. We shot quite a few games of pool mainly cause we had the bartender turn on the juke box in-between her youtube videos and put in a few songs only to find out there was a queue jammed up that was 15 tracks long. I have seen some reviews that the bathrooms weren't clean but in this case it wasnt true other than the aforementioned doggy poo corner. They do have darts and I must say great billiards tables with a lot of travel. I also had a former coworker and huge fan of Aguilas tell me they have a cool basement at nights for added festivities which sounded really cool and gave me valley bar or downtown Cornish vibes if they can pull that off. Honestly aside from the cigarette smoke and my wife getting skeeved out by doggie doody I could have over looked the sub par service. Maybe ill go back for some basement raves on the weekend and change my perception on the place cause life is to short to just have one bad experience. Edit: I forgot to mention the Drive thru liquor store in front of the bar. We went inside and the dude working the counter was awesome and they had a great beer and liquor select, see its just hard to right a bad review without feeling like a Karen but that liquor store and personnel is 5 stars
